  1. Finished rough sorting a 40+ lb haul from a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to piece sets together. A few key pieces missing here and there, which I will eventually BL, but overall a great start on numerous 80's-90's sets.

  3. After 3 1/2 months of living in Orlando, dealing with hockey, regular life, unpacking, etc. And then trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to do with my man cave/office space, I finally started on the proof of concept. Will replicate that on the left (need to buy another Besta cabinet at IKEA). I want to put shelves and doors on the bottom storage. Not quite sure how I’m going to do the stuff above the shelf yet. The bottom will be for storage and unfinished projects. The shelf will be for the LEGO city, and then display shelves (?) will be above the city.

  4. We send complete sets with each figure in a clear plastic baggie with all accessories and inserts included. We also have an identification system, so we do sets with sealed figures as well.

  7. Yeah, with Walmart+ they do prompt for a tip sometimes. I just have to adjust it to nothing, since I didn't ask for the Doordash guy to drop off my package.

  8. No hidden charge for the service. I believe it’s mostly low stock items. I’ve had scenarios where items are OOS but since they are available locally they let you order for shipping and use the delivery drivers (same ppl that deliver W+ orders) However sometimes you find the pick sticker is on the box, but most of the time the sticker is just on the bag if it fits in one.

  9. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/batmobile-the-penguin-chase-76181 Mods please merge if a thread exists, I did not find one. I am a life long fan of Batman. When I am a a restaurant or fast food joint and they ask me for my name, I say "Batman". I have not watched the new movie yet, we just don't go to theaters anymore for no particular reason. Anyways - I hope this muscle car Batmobile is awesome in the movie because building it does not make me think of Keaton's ride from 1989 or the Tumbler and definitely not the classic from the 60's I grew up watching in re-run. The build is simple and has lots of detail for the engine. What you see on the box is what you get. I don't know if the movie version has some grill mounted cannons but it seems like the launchers would take up considerable engine space with all those blue flames projecting around it - maybe they are not machine guns but some sort of missile launchers and the blue flames are vented exhaust plume. I passed on the technic version for now. Scale wise, it does sit well with the recent Tumbler and the mini 1989 model that was part of the UCS set from years back. The Penguin does have a pistol which is a rarity for Lego these days. Took less than an hour to build, only dropped a few pieces under the couch.

  10. I built and re-built mine. Never could get the main rise in the track to match up so it was as if it was always stressed and wanted to come apart. I looked over it a hundred times and never could get it figured out. I eventually kragle'd it in that spot just to be able to use the set. I know, blasphemy, but it was the only way. Still need to order new parts for that section.

  12. I made a New Year’s resolution to myself that I would try to contribute some content here as opposed to just reading the posts of others. And so here’s my first offering. I started collecting (hoarding?) Lego sets years back when my son was 8 or 9. As others know, while the hunt can be fun, storage usually becomes a problem. Thus, I thought it might be fun to to kiss and tell all of our Lego hiding places. My top three are: #3 - Empty suitcases #2 - Under our Bedroom dresser and #1 - in the void under my kids bed! I had this epiphany 4 or 5 years back and have managed to store/hide over 80 sets. The sets themselves are stacked vertically, with one set flat on top. It was like playing Tetris, trying to fit as many as I could. So, where is your stash?
