  1. Great build but some tough stickers.

  2. After 3 1/2 months of living in Orlando, dealing with hockey, regular life, unpacking, etc. And then trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to do with my man cave/office space, I finally started on the proof of concept. Will replicate that on the left (need to buy another Besta cabinet at IKEA). I want to put shelves and doors on the bottom storage. Not quite sure how I’m going to do the stuff above the shelf yet. The bottom will be for storage and unfinished projects. The shelf will be for the LEGO city, and then display shelves (?) will be above the city.

  5. I made a New Year’s resolution to myself that I would try to contribute some content here as opposed to just reading the posts of others. And so here’s my first offering. I started collecting (hoarding?) Lego sets years back when my son was 8 or 9. As others know, while the hunt can be fun, storage usually becomes a problem. Thus, I thought it might be fun to to kiss and tell all of our Lego hiding places. My top three are: #3 - Empty suitcases #2 - Under our Bedroom dresser and #1 - in the void under my kids bed! I had this epiphany 4 or 5 years back and have managed to store/hide over 80 sets. The sets themselves are stacked vertically, with one set flat on top. It was like playing Tetris, trying to fit as many as I could. So, where is your stash?

  10. The 30495 AT-ST polybag (many good design elements in a small set) and the 76239 Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown sets. The Batman set is an impressive build and captures the overall feel of the much larger sets well in my opinion. It also a has a new minfigure head as well as incorporating three of the Trans-Black Windscreen pieces also found in the most recent Pizza Van set. The dust that is already on the Batman set is the Bane of my existence…

  11. Yes...Great observation on both accounts. I tried to add more prizes because of the required change from raffle to sweepstakes. In years past, I could load up on a particular prize and charge more tickets for that one prize, but with the sweepstakes is more random. I tried to keep each prize around a $500.00 value, give or take. And like I said, I will work with winners to get them the prizes they want, even going as far as offering current LEGO sets that I can order off of Amazon, Target or LEGO.com. I will probably add another prize or two at least to increase everyone's chances.

  13. Only one i will ever buy if they ever make it will be Anfield. I really hope they do, that's the two biggest La Liga sides represented so logic says Anfield should be next:).

  14. Brickset has an article about it here. I'm not a Technic person, but all of the open space (especially in the hood) of some of these models just doesn't make it appealing. I know that it is supposed to represent the recessed areas, but I don't think empty space is effective for it. Price point definitely lets more people display these supercars, however.
