This completes my childhood trifecta of vehicles. '89 Batmobile and Ecto-1 being the other two.3 points

also speed champs was a theme that was exclusive to TRU for the first 2 waves in 2015 and 2016 which also made them much harder to find and load up on helping boost the early waves performance. i remember a few all day road trips around the state and nearby states when tru put the f150 raptor set on sale for $25.2 points

I am patiently waiting for the LEGO Time Train. When I first saw the movies I thought flying car was cool, but flying train ? 🤯🤯2 points

There's that word again, 'heavy'. Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull? DAY 1 for me. Totally going to be using this to make a base model Delorean.2 points

Yes, but as you noted the service fee only applies to orders under a certain thresh hold. $3.50 service fee for Bestseller orders under $14 and $7.00 service fee for Standard orders under $14.2 points

business 101. Happy to see the black falcons are actually available. Ive had a hard time finding these in stock, so thank you.2 points

To be fair some of them were overproduced and underperformed compared to sets from other themes with the same MSRP1 point

I started buying Speed Champions the first year they came out... for my own personal build *doh*! I was only occasionally reselling LEGO to support my newly rediscovered LEGO habit / addiction so buying a bunch wasn't even on my radar. I kick myself each year a new wave comes out that I didn't load up the first few years. I feel like this has to be the best wave yet.1 point

Return of the F40 windshield. That one was going for insane money on BL. Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk1 point

Like father, like son? Excellent assortment of prizes this year! I feel like you created more categories and opportunities to win rather than a few large buckets. Rolling the dice with a bill ("God, can we consider this as my regular paycheck tithe?- will def tithe 10% on what I win").1 point

I just checked my rakutan acct and of the 3 orders one did not count...process of elimination suggests that Sesame st may have been considered "exclusive" by Rakutan, BUT checking LEGO Shop at Home, it's only marked as "Hard to find"...so there's there's that1 point
-
honestly no clue what Rakutan considers exclusive...I can't believe their bot can actually tell; LEGO list of "Exclusives" on their website is like 5 pages long....if all those don't qualify; shame on me for not knowing.1 point

just delivered from LEGO Shop at Home: Apollo Saturn x2 Sesame St x1 Jane x3 coins x3 (Now i have them all!) and hopefully Rakutan 10% x31 point

I think Episode 1 did no favors for Maul in its portrayal. Maul was clearly a thinker and to some extent a philosopher. Maybe he evolved from a single-minded easily manipulated brute (much like his "brother") through all his pain and anguish into more of a thinker. His whole story would be a great series...those times as head of Crimson Tide we only have bits of info on. the other stories my dad mentions is that the small towns without schools were typically run by small gangs...hoodlums (according to my dad). My dad and my uncles would go around beating these gangs up as a way to advertise for their schools (sometimes ended up recruiting them as students). He actually talks very little about those days...he hung up his blackbelt when they immigrated to US...my mom convinced him he wouldn't make an money in martial arts...so basically Kim's Convenience is my actual life....1 point

They could have taken the opportunity to make it 1955, 1985, 2015, or even 1885 pieces. Take my cash away! I don’t mind. But you gotta get me brick in time!1 point

touche, but still anticlimatic...and I don't know about the sense of maturing...but weird to see Darth dying in the arms of Kenobi. respect for for one's enemy but made Darth look truly pathetic. Totally agree on "real" fighters and actual fights. Back in the 60s in rural post-war Korea my dad was part of a clan establishing their martial art school. And back then if you wanted to open a school in a specific area the masters had to challenge the incumbent..."That was the way", winner gets the students and claim to the area. So those were some real epic fights and my dad always said it was a couple of your best moves and that was it.1 point

Heavy! Unlike Voltron, I won't be buying three to build (I have two Voltrons), but....I love it. Similar in size to the Ecto-1. They will display well together.1 point

One of the irritating parts from this whole thing was Amazon set the auto-liquidation option ON by default when they introduced it to the mass. I had to manually uncheck the liquidation option last year. Others may want to check and make sure these are set up the way you want in your accounts.1 point

Yes, I know. I was being snarky with 2 different posters from previous “deals” FWIW all of my ShopDisney orders arrived and they were still 2021 runs from Hungary that must have been on a slow ship to the USA.1 point

I’ve had good luck with my copy of the Roller Coaster. I bought it used and it has worked flawlessly since the first attempt. I’ve moved it around the house a couple times but the real test will be this summer when we move cross-country (from the Boston metro area to Flagstaff AZ). I’m still not sure how I’m going to move everything…Partially disassembled or completely broken down.1 point

Inside Out, while not directly about puberty, did this well. They've been going away from these villians for a long time, Toy Story didn't have a main bad guy either. Bad guy movies are simple and I still like them, and I don't need to understand the bad guy's perspective either, sometime people are just a-holes.1 point
