Picked this up Sunday on FB Marketplace. Initially it was just to pick up the 6952: Solar Power Transporter and a 2 lb bag of loose older lego. Then member brings out 462: Mobil Rocket Launcher. Looking through the original box for the 6952 he mentions there are some extra space parts. Turns out it was a nearly complete 6930: Space Supply Station minus the base plate (which I have several) $50 for the whole lot. The 2 lb bag had a ton of great parts also. Love classic space lego!9 points

That Rover was my gateway drug when I was in the 4th grade ...I had a successful rehab in Junior High...but fell off the wagon in my 40s Now I'm dumpster diving in alleys for cardboard boxes...a real low point for sure. Say "NO" to LEGO kids...but I'm sure this forum is full of similar hard luck stories of the devastating effects of a toy...3 points

i haven't FBA in 2 years now. FBM is very lucrative, i have access to the premier online marketplace buyers, maintain control of all my inventory, i list hundreds of sku at a time without any storage fees, every order goes out within 24 hours, the money shows up in my account the instant the shipping label prints and i can disburse the money to bank every day if i want to. with FBM, i have none of the non-compensated extra work and time spent trying to figure out where amazon screwed up with my inventory and trying to claw back some compensation for their mistake. every item i sell is packaged perfectly every time - 0 returns for item being damaged. with new amazon shipping discounts , a dollar or 2 more to send UPS ground across the country compared to the next state, my margins have never been better .3 points

https://www.reuters.com/business/toymaker-lego-advises-russian-staff-stay-silent-ukraine-conflict-2022-02-28/ LEGO corp needs to stay in their lane I understand "safety" precautions but it's not the place of employers to "guide" it's employees on whether to participate in political action one way or the other. Also despite the obvious optics...WHY this issue and not the many issues that have arose in the past 2 years...there's been plenty and all potentially dangerous.2 points

I wanted the Jane Goodall set, and needed the latest Brickheadz, so woke up at Midnight and ordered the following: 40550 Chip & Dale Brickheadz 40548 Spice Girls Tribute Brickheadz 40553 Woody & Bo Peep Brickheadz 40517 Vespa 31124 Super Robot 853995 Princess Aurora Keychain 854186 Ahsoka Keychain My first order from Florida, so let's see if LEGO is quick to send things down here, rather than to San Diego (which always seemed to take about 7-10 days from order to receipt)2 points

I've never seen that before, but have long since resigned myself to the fact that any inventory sent to FBA is always at risk for disappearing into the void for an indeterminate period of time ranging from a few days to many years. I received a bunch of inventory back from Amazon last year that I had sent in and that had been lost sometime between 2014-2016.1 point

A potential long term issue for the Castle is the designer remade an improved version and it already has 10K supporters as an Ideas set. If lego decides to make it we probably wouldn’t see it until late 2023 and some would want both, but most would go for the new Ideas set. We also supposedly still have a castle set coming this August for the 90th anniversary set.1 point

Wondering the same. Current thoughts bouncing around... CURRENTLY lots of excitement about these bricklink designer sets. Will the excitement last? How much is ppl hoping to make some money? More of these were produced than the earlier bricklink designer castle. More ppl trying to cash in. Which of these sets will still be highly sought after years from now? I only have one Castle in the Forest. I'll be holding that one bc it might have the most potential AND I might keep it for myself. Castle is my fave theme from childhood. Not sure what I'll decide to do with the fishing boat and others. Fishing boat also will be difficult to resist building myself.1 point

One of the best ways to find odd parts like this is to search the dimensions. 12 x 12 in this case. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=439791 point
