I purchased two sets at Costco on March 1st for $22.99 each. The set is a quick build, probably 30 minutes; I spent what felt like more time looking for a grey 2x2 block that fell under the couch. For me the selling point was the three Dark Troopers. The set has a little play action built in allowing Jedi Luke Skywalker to force push a trooper, a small area where he can be swiveled to strike the enemy with his light saber and the elevator swivels to reveal him arriving at that corridor. I'm a collector though so the play factors are interesting for about a minute. The main wall had several stickers to make it both a pain to finish but looks good. I'm terrible at them since they are never cut to fit edge to edge and on these stickers the light bars were not cut on center. (Hey Lego, adjust your sticker making process, it's been 20 years and we still have gaps in continuous areas covered with stickers). I was thinking I could take the second set and extend the hallway. There is a large gap in the wall just to the left of the elevator so maybe building an extension to fill that space is an option too.

if by "online" you mean going to your local LEGO store, then yes. otherwise...no.

None of the 2022 SCs are Retail Exclusives that makes the Ford Bronco/GT the only retail exclusive 8 stud. Looks like the Countach and Mercedes are the early winners.

Are there .pdf copies of the instructions? A while back, I could have sworn I saw them online but didn't save a copy. Now all I can find are the instructions in the app. I'm specifically looking for the instructions for the Castle, Boat & Pursuit of Flight from round one.

I am not sure if this is where it should go but I thought I would make everyone aware. Today, I was scheduled for a local pickup selling a Titanic set. It was through FBM and nothing really seemed out of the ordinary until she asked me if I could make an exception and take Venmo because she hadn't had time to get to the bank. It was the middle of a Tuesday and there are literally fifteen banks near my house so I told her it was cash only. All of a sudden her friend was calling on the other line to tell her that she found it fifty bucks cheaper someplace else (impeccable timing) and that she wouldn't be buying the set after all. I bent over backwards to make that sale convenient for her and then nothing. Do not accept Venmo for anything really. They will come get the set, Venmo you the money, twenty minutes later report the card stolen, the charges will be reversed and you will never see the merchandise again. This is my PSA.

Fixed it. I am always amazed at these finds. I don't know how you do it, especially when there is nothing in the title to indicate what was included when you would be scrolling through. Bravo, sir.

just built this one. I know the set doesn't get a lot of love but I hadn't built any truly TECHNIC since coming out of dark ages and wanted to make sure I still enjoyed the process before moving on to some larger builds in my backlog.
