  2. i got covid few weeks back.. went to work for a few days, didn't feel right so got tested on the 3rd day of not feeling well and was positive. didn't feel that bad except for a low fever(100 and less usually) and sore throat. got better after a few days. kicker is i still went to work, never missed a day. wore a mask every day, as most do at my work anyway. nobody at work got covid, my family didn't catch it, even though i cooked all their food and ate with them and hung out as normal. very odd, makes me believe that its not as transmittable as you think as long as you wash your hands and keep your distance/be careful. i had my second covid dose nearly a year ago, no booster yet. so hopefully just lucky and healthy

  3. just want to add to this...in hindsight, I'm thinking someone at LEGO knew about this episode, because why choose Yoda's lightsaber of all the options to make into the first LEGO brick-built light saber? I have a feeling the next LEGO sabers are going to be a twin set for Ahsoka.

  4. Wait, were the air squats done before the video games or instead of the video games? Now I'm curious what the game was, my guess:

  5. Have to say I find him very dull. And it's not just the script imo.

  6. I had a fever for a day then was fine after that, like I said I was 90% for many days prior (slight stuffy nose) and I waited until I felt completely OK before I restarted. It was done before gaming of course, we played and hour and a half of switch after that. I'm hurting lots today even after lots of stretching and massage gun use. Lol

  7. Not my words, but I agree and it will be awesome, "Grogu is going to wear mail armor and ride around as a sidekick in a Naboo Starfighter while a silver space knight swings around a black magic space sword."

  8. I assume he's talking about this one: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=19730&idColor=115#T=C&C=115 Only comes on Steve in the Fortress 21127 and on a Zombie in the Mountain Cave 21137. I definitely see your side on this and while I think it's good to be chill about it, it's fair to keep boundaries on the rare stuff.

  10. I jump rope a few times a week, lost about 7kg (15lb) in 3 months. Its super efficient if u just want some quick cardio. I'm at my leanest in 15 years. No access to gym (I use only office gym previously) so mainly bodyweight exercises for me.

  12. You might look at it like this. There's only so much shelf space you have and here's a way of expanding on to the walls 😃 And I'd agree with @stuco191 It's more about the display than the build.

  13. Probably not the best thread for this… but I do have it as part of my personal collection. The build experience is painful but it looks great on the wall. If I had to choose between this and Lamborghini sian I would choose the Lamborghini 10 times over for the build. But for display these are some of the coolest sets ever. To keep on topic they are probably retiring and will be average investments imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Was notified back in April that I was going to be laid off at the end of October due to our department getting bought out by another bank. My employer didn't want to lose me, offered me a position on another team, and said it was mine if I wanted it. I discussed this with my wife and decided to pass on it and make a career change after being unhappy in the financial industry for the past 20+ years. In late August, I took a couple of night classes (Interpreting Engineering Drawings and CAD with SolidWorks) at the local community college while I was still employed. Took the three hour CSWA (SolidWorks Certification) exam last month and passed!! Now I'm trying to figure out if I should pursue an Associates Degree in Engineering. On hold for the past 30 mins with the transcripts department of my former college where I got my Bachelors in Finance, so I don't have to retake Calculus, etc. I'm in my late 40's and know that I am lucky enough to be financially able to change careers. Just wondering now if getting an Associates at my age will be enough for me to break into the industry.
