My wife tested positive for it last week. I tested negative until I popped positive Sunday. We are both vaccinated. Only think I had was a fever at night that quickly broke after a few hours. I did get that IV treatment and I tested clear and am returning to work today.7 points

I jump rope a few times a week, lost about 7kg (15lb) in 3 months. Its super efficient if u just want some quick cardio. I'm at my leanest in 15 years. No access to gym (I use only office gym previously) so mainly bodyweight exercises for me.6 points

I'm a big Neil Young fan and I support the war that he has waged against commercialization of music. With that being said, Spotify made the right decision. Maybe for the wrong reason (cash vs freedom of speech) but I'm glad that it worked out as it did. Neil Young used to be a radical. Now's he's just a grumpy old man. Sure he can do whatever he wants, but there are musicians on Spotify that I would consider more repugnant than Rogan, that he hasn't taken a stand against, ie R Kelly.5 points

I've been here too long to even bother with people like this. I just respond back with a simple "I'm sorry that the carrier damaged this during transit. Please submit a return request and I will provide a prepaid label for the return. Once the item is received in the same condition you received it, you will receive a full refund" You'd be surprised how few returns I get. Never received a negative feedback afterwards either. Nearly everyone is just looking for a discount, and I'm too petty to offer it at this point.4 points

FYI, My wife and I here in New Hampshire got covid after Christmas, we got Ivermectin and Azithromycin from a doctor in Florida and we were better in 5 days. Here in New Hampshire the state legislature will be voting to make Ivermectin legal to get at all pharmacies without a prescription.3 points

Taking a stand against a convicted child molester should be an easy and popular choice for anyone. Say what you will about Rogan, some of his guests are way more interesting and entertaining than anything traditional news is doing. Keep in mind that people reporting on such things aren't experts either, but they are gatekeepers of what they choose to share when presenting the "news". At least in longer discussions, you get a fuller picture of someone's perspective and not cherry picked soundbites.3 points

Yet, Joe Rogan has actually gotten what he's wanted, attention, coverage, and listens. The people that have taken a stance against him didn't listen in the first place. It's no different than inflammatory headlines on news sites, or "first reports" that are wrong on Twitter. It's all about the clicks and generating revenue.3 points

That was one instance out of 100s of hours of his show on this topic. Again, it's a bandwagon narrative.3 points

Neil Young had polio as a child, so he's a big proponent for vaccines. I'm assuming he didn't take aim at R Kelly because R Kelly doesn't have a podcast putting out misinformation that can harm people. I don't listen to the JRP, or Neil Young, so it's all the same to me.3 points

Calling out a private company for moderating content is not a free speech issue. Joe Rogan's rights to his show and what he says on the show extend no further than the agreement he's signed with Spotify, and I can assure you that they have very clear guidelines about what they consider acceptable speech and behavior on their platform and will allow, as would any publisher or platform--that's the company's right. If canceled on Spotify, Rogan can continue to shout what he wants on the street corner, sign on to a new platform, etc. Thus, there would be no free speech violation if Spotify elected to terminate his contract over something he said, nor would it be a free speech violation if a private employer fired you over something you said. To be clear. Young wasn't just coming out of left field here--he was backing the open letter signed by over 200 health professionals asking for Spotify to moderate the content that they allow on their platform.2 points

You people are getting Freedom of Speech wrong. Being right or wrong doesn't negate your right to speak, no more than porn or religion can be used as a reason to deny it. If you have never seen it then you really owe it to yourself to watch a 1981 movie called First Monday In October, starring Walter Matthau And Jill Clayburgh. They are both Supreme Court Justices, one right wing, one left, arguing about porn. As Matthau's character states "So its crap. What if it is crap? That's not the point. Crap's got the right to be crap." So many people want to ban speech just because they feel that it is crap.2 points

I think Neal Young foretold this. To quote Old Man: Doesn't mean that much to me To mean that much to you2 points

Just acknowledge and move on. Unless you can marshal evidence to show that the member did, in fact, receive the correct item, pursuing an appeal isn't worth it. Ultimately, that is what they are asking in that situation...not that the item you sent in was correct, but that the item the member received was correct. If this was an item that you sent to Amazon for stickering and you got other similar complaints from customers, it's probably a situation where Amazon incorrectly stickered it during receiving. They screwed up a ton of my items like that last year.2 points

If someone like Drake or Taylor Swift made this stand Spotify might have to think on it. I would guess most Neil Young fans are not streaming. I do like the stand he took here. Rogan is a butthole.2 points

I doubt that. It's too polished, produced and executed to work in such a short timeframe of four weeks--throwing in a mid season episode to save the series. Mando's narrative has been the traveler to introduce Fett, Ashoka, and likely Kenobi's stories into Disney+ and these Mando interludes serve as connective tissue between one story arc and the next. I gotta say that I love that Grogu sized observation blister where the Astro-mech used to be in the Naboo star fighter. The whol episode, including the joy ride down beggar's canyon, was pure fan service and it's what BoBF needed, even if Fett wasn't in it.2 points
-
Yeah, the misinformation narrative it a little uninformed and he's just jumping on the bandwagon with the media narrative. The media are scared to death of platforms like JRE, his viewership is much larger than traditional media these days.2 points

Worse episode of Book of Boba Fett, but one of the BEST episode of The Mandalorian!2 points

Episode was awesome. Directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, too. One pretty major complaint, and it’s the chief one I have about BoBF— the most interesting parts of the show have nothing to do with Fett. We got an excellent episode of the Mandalorian. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Awesome, just take it easy in the beginning. My feet and shin hurt at first and it took couple of weeks to get used to. 10min is plenty if you haven't been working out much. I hope you got a weighted rope, speed ropes are hard to learn as there is little feedback. Crossropes are too expensive for those starting out. For a beginner I think 0.5pound is perfect, once you learn the basics the 1lb rope provides a great workout. By weighted rope I mean thicker ropes, having a weight in the handles does not really work you as hard as having to swing the weight in the ropes itself.1 point

I still get to enjoy Neil Young's catalog on SiriusXM. Even though I already have most of his CD's and can still stream them all on Amazon Music. Spotify can stream fine on Amazon Echo. SiriusXM Lands Neil Young’s Music After Spotify Removal – The Hollywood Reporter1 point

"Joe Rogan has admitted he’s cringing after being fact-checked about Covid-19, having been proven wrong on his own podcast – admitting he was ‘winging it’ during the debate. It all started when the podcaster sat down with Australian broadcaster and fellow podcast host Josh Szeps for a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. Everything was going well until, Rogan began spouting some incorrect information about myocarditis. Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscles and can be a side effect of the Pfizer vaccine, but is much more commonly a result of contracting the Covid-19 virus. Rogan boldly stated that myocarditis is a 'common' side effect in children who have had the vaccine, but Szeps cut him off quickly to point out that it isn't true. Rogan then read aloud during the podcast episode: "[Males aged] 12 to 17, were [most] likely to develop myocarditis within three months of catching Covid at a rate of 450 cases per million infections. This compares to 67 cases of myocarditis per million of the same age following their second dose of Pfizer. Szeps then explained: "Yeah, so you're about eight times likelier to get myocarditis from getting Covid than from getting it from the vaccine.” Rogan seemed to move on fairly swiftly, saying the point was ‘interesting’ before going off on a tangent about fact-checking and finding information on the internet." Too many people take what Joe Rogan says as fact. He is an entertainer. He is no different than Rowdy Roddy Piper in that sense. He is paid to entertain. I stand with Neil Young on this one.1 point

Seems like a perfectly legit situation. Dude didn’t want his music associated with something he finds repugnant, and he was willing to suffer the consequences of lost revenue. Spotify had to choose between one and the other, and they chose. it’s like the most free market thing ever… my complaint is that I LOVE the free market. I do. I really, really do.1 point

Follows that question with "waist." Not sure how you wasted his time, looks like he wasted his own and yours instead. Only feedback left by him is 1 negative. Block list is getting bigger by the day.1 point

I have at times made it very clear that the boxes are not in mint condition, and should not be considered as such, and if you're looking for mint, please buy elsewhere.1 point

Having the bags can increase the value of a set. If nothing else, it can convey a sense of meticulous behavior regarding the previous owner, and would imply a greater likelihood that the set would be complete.1 point

Just received 75290 Cantina this afternoon. Paid 208.40, so about 1/3 off RRP. Box is a bit damaged, and opened on one side, but the contents are all present, sealed, and undamaged. I'm pleased with this as I doubt it will be available for that price at general retail (this was from Stockmustgo - a liquidator of damaged sets).1 point
