Considering he'll apparently get away without repercussions, it's the least I can do to spare a few other sellers: ID: lekto_568 points

I've been here too long to even bother with people like this. I just respond back with a simple "I'm sorry that the carrier damaged this during transit. Please submit a return request and I will provide a prepaid label for the return. Once the item is received in the same condition you received it, you will receive a full refund" You'd be surprised how few returns I get. Never received a negative feedback afterwards either. Nearly everyone is just looking for a discount, and I'm too petty to offer it at this point.5 points

Follows that question with "waist." Not sure how you wasted his time, looks like he wasted his own and yours instead. Only feedback left by him is 1 negative. Block list is getting bigger by the day.3 points

I have at times made it very clear that the boxes are not in mint condition, and should not be considered as such, and if you're looking for mint, please buy elsewhere.3 points

Just received 75290 Cantina this afternoon. Paid 208.40, so about 1/3 off RRP. Box is a bit damaged, and opened on one side, but the contents are all present, sealed, and undamaged. I'm pleased with this as I doubt it will be available for that price at general retail (this was from Stockmustgo - a liquidator of damaged sets).3 points

Credit where credit is due: Brickfan ran this article today: https://www.thebrickfan.com/bricklink-designer-program-round-3-preview/ Nine projects left on the table, only 5 will be funded for production: Space Troopers! 1950s Diner Train Station: Studgate Working Waterfall Exploratorium Winter Chalet Modular Construction Site Mountain View Observatory Brickwest Studios3 points

Finished this the other day. Had to document before it gets torn apart. It had it's challenges but overall just took around 7 days just periodically assembling and with a work trip in between. The Minifigure head one is probably much harder if the size is the same. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk3 points

The mark of a great episode: 52 minutes long, and I was shocked it was over when it was over.2 points

Hmm, best episode yet of Book of Boba Fett was all about the Mandalorian.2 points

Since my wife watches Mando, I told her she has to watch BOBF now. I will probably just sit with her and FF through Tusken and flashback parts and I'll just summarize for her until episode 5.1 point

Prior to the shooting the figs were removed per the designer there was a small selection of figs available and he did not feel that they matched the set well.1 point

Did anyone else feel there was foreshadowing going on for the rancor turning on Fett later on? Maybe its just how good of a character Danny Trejo can play. But something seemed off from the get go. Also, since when have Hutt's ever been trustworthy?? I'll answer, never trust a Hutt.1 point

Nope, no new info. Slow news day, I guess. But thought it would be interesting to throw out there for discussion. I haven't really been interested in any of the first two waves. This wave *finally* has some sets that I might be interested in, depending upon pricing. Ones that I'm considering, in order of preference: 1950s Diner Mountain View Observatory Winter Chalet Space Troopers! Exploratorium Working Waterfall1 point

It is the same one it got pushed due to the Alec Baldwin shooting incident.1 point

Having the bags can increase the value of a set. If nothing else, it can convey a sense of meticulous behavior regarding the previous owner, and would imply a greater likelihood that the set would be complete.1 point

That's unlikely for me since I'm not in the US. I don't know how the US approaches such things, but that isn't (to my understanding) a concern in the UK. Here, we have to pay capital gains tax on profits when selling a possession worth £6k or more (and almost no Lego set fits that description).1 point

$300 would not surprise me. I would monitor eBay and Bricklink when USA starts getting these in hand...i'm sure i'll be one of the last to receive.1 point

$0.00 Market Cap? I'm sorry, and this is definitely NOT jealousy talking, but it sure looks like a pump-and-dump to me. Be careful. And I sincerely hope that I'm wrong.1 point

Interesting. So many projects out there! I'm getting ready to drop a bunch in an up and coming project. I'm really pumped about this project. I'll share about it later after I invest in it (don't want anymore competition than I'll already have hahaha)!1 point

Out of the 10K round one castle sets 5K went exclusively to North America with a limit of 5 per account. The other 5K were distributed worldwide to select regions but were also available to North America. So currently I would say at most 4K are in hand with many of the other 6K going to QFLL. So price will drop. You may see some people buying up the low priced listings.1 point

I'm not sure if this works for ended listings but active listings In the description just above the items specifics will show if the listing was revised. Example here Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing. Last updated on Jan 05, 2022 08:00:08 PST View all revisions EDIT. It does show on sold listings as well.1 point

I got this today. Hello, I received your package. It does however seem to have suffered some damage. I will include pictures. Please follow up with me. Thanks.0 points

Yeah, I don't know what was in bag#6, but it's completely empty. So, I'm assuming it's also incomplete. Bastard. Can I say that? Oh well. 😅0 points
