I remember we talked about the stock tracker being down in some other thread. But since this is stickied, best place to continue the conversation… Noticed today the stock checker is back online..3 points

Well, thr last 24 hours have been... interesting.... I bought a bunch of a coin yesterday and proceeded to lose over a $1 off ofthe value per coin (it's in the single digits so $1 is a lot when its under $10). Would not recommend diving in unless your planning on holding long term. Easy to get rekt.3 points

My daughter turned 14 today. I’d swear it was just a couple months ago we were dropping her off at daycare…Congrats on the new job!3 points

seems to me that the bot that drops the ban hammer has no direct association with customer service when its your time...its your time Very arbitrary w/ no clear rhyme or reason...probably intentionally ambiguous. Thanks for sharing.2 points

We just dropped one back at college last week…they get so big in the blink of an eye (but they still love LEGO, so there's that!)2 points

They allowed signups on Tuesday. Called it a “beta”. Lol. Gotta say the USPS website handled the increased traffic.2 points

That was my first thought too. If you’re buying from B&P not a problem. But if you’re using the replacement service then they will flag you for abusing it pretty quickly.2 points

We dropped our daughter off at daycare today for her first full day of daycare. It'd weird having more time without a baby needing you during the day. It's also my last day of work until I start my new job at the end of the month. Time sure does fly.2 points

Arguably the best punchline in any 8.5 minutes song. The only celebrity I followed on Facebook, but I have not opened my Facebook in 3+ months LOL RIP I know the music video for the song below is pretty good but I prefer the 12 minutes / full version of the song2 points

The Meat Loaf Live with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra DVD had the best performances of his classics, the way they needed to be performed, live with the full freaking orchestra backing him & his band. Some songs may or may not featured a bunch of girls dancing on stage1 point

I actually just bought $50 worth of SAND. I use DCA (dollar cost averaging) and buy $50 worth of crypto every weekend, whether the market is up or down. Still, it hurts right now.1 point

No need to worry about crypto - If nothing else, you can feel assured that it will hold its book value.1 point

The free text box which requires human intervention and placing duplicates are the biggest culprits. It is not the person on the phone or the one processing your free text order, they are more than glad to tell you everything is awesome. Duplicates on a “UCS” sticker is the ultimate NO/NO regardless of what the nice lady told you. That sux that you got banned for what is a $0.50 BL item. This service is great but I try never to use it. I try to go with spare parts first even if I have to substitute a color on a non-visible element, pull or swap an element with another built set, BL and finally B&P free tell us about an issue service. I have only ordered a regular set sticker sheet twice over the years and never a Minifigure. Historically, people on here have told tales of getting banned for ordering extra UCS stickers to sell.1 point

Mine asked for the Encanto set for her birthday, so yes. Love that they still love the blocks.1 point

I guess it could. I have typically just used the replacement stickers option (there's a widget for it on one of the pages), and used the free text field when needed. It looks like I requested 3 stickers in all of 2021. I'm not sure if that's a lot by their standards, but I can assure you it's certainly not a lot by my personal LEGO buying standards lol. I have only requested used Bricks and Pieces to request 2 actual pieces over the past 10 years. One was a broken element, and the second was a misprint Beskar Mando helmet. This is a known issue with the printing on this helmet. I request a single replacement, which was actually a worse print, and then took the opportunity to e-mail LEGO photos of the helmets to make them aware of the printing issue. I ended up speaking with someone, who then sent me 4 helmets and said one of them should be fine. I was already wary of this, because I certainly don't want to abuse the system, and definitely didn't want to jeopardize my standing with BAP, but he assured me it would be fine. I think these helmets, which I did not formally request, were probably the reason for the ban once my account was reviewed. I wish I could send back these misprints instead. This most recent sticker request was definitely what flagged me me, because it was the only time I have ever requested the same sticker twice. The replacement sticker that I got in (for 75318) had a really bad corner bend, and I requested another. I spoke to someone with support who assured me it was completely fine and she placed the order for a replacement sticker, which was then cancelled and I received the e-mail that I can not use Bricks and Pieces anymore. I spoke with support today and was informed I can not use BAP anymore, but can order pieces - but can't order stickers. Seems odd. I have such bad luck with stickers. Just venting a bit - first negative LEGO experience I've had. Yeah, I've always been extra wary of using it unless absolutely necessary. Never for valuable parts or anything, except for the one misprint issue I detailed above. It's such a great service for stickers primarily - I definitely wouldn't have ever wanted to abuse it.1 point

Sorry to hear this. Not sure if it has anything to do with Bricks and Pieces services merging with PAB. Are you using the free replacement service and free texting in the sticker sheet for a specific set? If so around how many orders did you do in 2021 and did you ever place an order for the same set twice?1 point

It was a much better episode. Though the whole scene where boba was practically pleading with the tatooine crime families to band together was... odd. "Let's band together!" "Uh, no." "Ulm, ok! Then don't interfere! Cool?." *Dead stare* "I guess"1 point

I think you earn one of those ovals for runners that they put on their cars. But it reads “0.0007”.1 point

You did very well getting $600 for all of them. They are still available. And longer they linger, the more skeptical I get. I have just enough points but I don't see placing 6 orders anytime soon, so I haven't bitten yet. Might get the case, that's a good point.1 point

Man, Time marches on. 8 months since the last post. I’m going to focus on the happy fact that it doesn’t look exactly the same. As opposed to focusing on the unhappy fact that it’s not as far along as I would like! Here’s where we sit today. Next step is to build the plywood riser for the back portion that the trains run under. Cross your fingers on that happening next week!1 point
