I like to compose and arrange music as an experimentalist/hobbyist. I play guitar, piano, and drums and played percussion in concert band from middle school through college. I like electronic music quite a bit and like making beats and loops and working with synthesizers. Occasionally, I'll save enough homemade loops of varying length with a common theme that I can arrange a full song. I got out of it for about 6 or 7 years and have just recently found myself back in it. I find it really fun, it's a great outlet.

we're on year 2 of our incomplete MILF taking up the living room coffee table. Its been a chore and pretty much stopped us in our heels in terms of building sets (prior we would build a set a month). Even the boy has a huge backlog of unopened Christmas and Birthday presents of sealed sets stacked in his room. I have essentially given up on building my backlog...oddly enough tho it doesn't stop me from adding to it almost weekly.

Same here- shipment arrived damaged. Zavvi offered me 10% off after I sent photos of the carnage. I refused and asked to return. Zavvi agreed to a return only if I paid return shipping to UK. Asked credit card company to step in- Zavvi closed my account/banned me. If your parting out sets, Zavvi is great, but shipping is mostly a miss from them.

Bought several Statue of Liberty from Zavvi last time it was this price. Putting them in a rock tumbler would have been less destructive. Terribly packaged. Everyone arrived damaged. Good if you don't care about the boxes.

We dropped our daughter off at daycare today for her first full day of daycare. It'd weird having more time without a baby needing you during the day. It's also my last day of work until I start my new job at the end of the month. Time sure does fly.

Why do you want to go to 850? Just because it's the max? There is no product you won't get based on score once you cross 800 (or 780 for some banks). Also, there are different scores for different products. What you are seeing is a score for consumer release. If you were to apply for a mortgage, the lender would look at a mortgage specific score which could be a bit higher or lower.

It wasn't today, this was actually back on Sunday. I ran the Houston Marathon in 3:16:28, and qualified for my first Boston Marathon at age 46. I'm still flying high, enjoying the break from running this week, and eating anything I can get my hands on.

Chickens definitely have different personalities! We have 12 chickens and have named each one. My wife calls them her emotional support animals. She loves them so much. She holds them in her lap, lets them stand on her head or shoulders, and cuddles them all the time. As for bees, she wants to do that too, but we already have two dogs, a tarantula, a ball python, and the aforementioned 12 chickens. *facepalm*

Someone mentioned Books-A-Million stopped selling LEGO. Happened in a BAM today. Saw a LEGO display from afar. This is what was there.

Oddly enough, same here. I have so many Lego sets in my backlog, and I haven't built anything since MILF about three years back. In addition to sealed sets, I have several loose modulars (Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, etc.) I need to build to ensure they're complete before I sell them. It's weird how I'm not chomping at the bits to build them.

I just realize all of my current hobbies include sitting in front of a monitor screen (video games, watching Youtube, etc). Probably need to go back to building & customizing Gundam plastic models. Sadly selling LEGO turned me off to building with LEGO.
