We definitely will be taking pre-orders on this series late March or early May. Stay tuned!9 points

Personally I would have kept the 78', painted it black and bought a cowboy hat. But that's just me.5 points

Even better, no episodes at all with them and using this episode to launch the series. Keeping the Tuskens mysterious would have aided the story. Great episode. Hell, I even forgive its ridiculous Bantha love fest and bizarre Boba Fett cannot catch a rat droid scenes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

It wasn't today, this was actually back on Sunday. I ran the Houston Marathon in 3:16:28, and qualified for my first Boston Marathon at age 46. I'm still flying high, enjoying the break from running this week, and eating anything I can get my hands on.2 points

Chickens definitely have different personalities! We have 12 chickens and have named each one. My wife calls them her emotional support animals. She loves them so much. She holds them in her lap, lets them stand on her head or shoulders, and cuddles them all the time. As for bees, she wants to do that too, but we already have two dogs, a tarantula, a ball python, and the aforementioned 12 chickens. *facepalm*2 points

But we needed those episodes to explain the bond between Fett and the Tuskens. When Fett goes to war with the Pykes, and the other families abandon Fett, it will be the Tuskens who ride in to save the day.1 point

I think you earn one of those ovals for runners that they put on their cars. But it reads “0.0007”.1 point

Roller coaster popped up on LEGO Shop at Home for 20% off and it’s gone. Might have been a fluke. Or indication that more stock is coming but LEGO will probably scrub the discount.1 point

I legit made $600 off all the coins plus the case. We're all in agreement about supply/demand driving prices either way. Problem with VIP gifts is that a majority of people do not know about them because they're hidden behind the "VIP Wall" and there's no advertisement in comparison to sets made for the public. The coins now fall into another bucket. Everyone knows about them. The whole set may be worth $200 right now, but in another year you'll be able to get $600. My best advice to BP'ers is to redeem the case. How did LEGO decide on how many cases to make? Are they thinking that they should make 1 case for every 5 coins made. Not everyone will have all 5, but there will be a good number of people who have a few coins and want to go on a "Quest" to complete the collection. Common denominator in the quest appears to be the case.1 point

We give them to our neighbors...especially the ones next to us to quell any complaints about their clucking.1 point

ha, my wife does the same thing. She'll come home from work and say "I need to hold a chicken" then heads to the back yard. as for the bees, its only about 30 minutes a week during the spring / summer / fall. They really know what they are doing so you are just supplementing their care and watching out for things like hive beetles and mites. Outside of the chickens and bees, we've also got 4 cats.1 point

For anyone interested, Amazon claims this is the newer model. It has a better average review score and is currently being offered with a 40% off coupon, bringing the cost down to $16.19. At that price, I figure it's hard to go wrong! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SM7BDL8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=11 point

That same Xacto knife is also a great tool (and so is a razor blade like the one building contractors use) to lift misaligned stickers and place them again. Even works with older stickers; I used it on my recent slate of 2nd hand Hobbit sets that needed adjustment. Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk1 point

I build the set and apply the stickers after using a weighted long tipped Xacto Knife. Sometimes I will have to disassemble a few pieces to reach and get things aligned up properly, but doing it this way you can place the stickers so they display best which is not always centered as seen above. If it is just 2 stickers I have them touching but when it is 3 in a row I try to center the middle and have the ones on the sides as close to the middle sticker as possible if that makes sense. For concave and convex elements I will use eyeglass spray cleaner to wet the element first and then align it. For translucent stickers I will always clean the elements first with the eyeglass spray as fingerprints show through, and for translucent stickers on translucent elements that are highly visible I will wear nitrile gloves and use the spray. If I am being my usual OCD self I will try and apply them as close to reality. On the Ford GT lego uses 2 stickers for the front grille air intake with an orange gap in between. Sometimes vehicles do have a splitter in the body color so you want that gap but looking at the real GT it is not there so I aligned the 2 stickers touching and along the bottom edge of the elements. Lego shows them centered which looks nicely aligned but like arse to me. Probably a lot more than you wanted to know, and this adds a lot of time to the build but the results are more realistic. https://www.walmart.com/ip/X-Acto-No-1-Precision-Knife-Z-series-with-Safety-Cap/217781841 point

Most of the main cast have been picked it would seem and should be company with the present Sesame Street characters (plus any future possibilities). With Animal and Janice here, we are only missing Dr. Teeth, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, and Zoot from Electric Mayhem. Also, PIGS IN SPACE!!!!1 point

That had to be one of the slowest moving chase scenes I have ever watched. It looked like someone could have been going at a light jog and kept pace. I guess Vespa "speeders" can't go too fast. If I didn't love all things star wars so much I would be giving up on this show after episode 3. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk1 point

This series has been disappointing. I almost turned it off when I saw the Vespas. Oh what could have been. I'd rather see a series of Boba Fett becoming Boba Fett.1 point

Did we really need every Hollywood cliche in that chase though? Car ramming the bikes, biker getting knocked over/out, pedestrians getting nearly hit. But of course the kickers are the painting and the car full of fruit.1 point

It's nice to see that we've moved on from the Dances with Tusken Raiders plot to the Free Wily Rancor edition. The cyborg teen gang sure do have some nifty mopeds, I mean speeder bikes! I don't get who the audience is for the show. Teens, preteens? Certainly not adults, right?1 point

There are a few scenes in Episode 3 I'm going to have trouble defending.1 point

Was notified back in April that I was going to be laid off at the end of October due to our department getting bought out by another bank. My employer didn't want to lose me, offered me a position on another team, and said it was mine if I wanted it. I discussed this with my wife and decided to pass on it and make a career change after being unhappy in the financial industry for the past 20+ years. In late August, I took a couple of night classes (Interpreting Engineering Drawings and CAD with SolidWorks) at the local community college while I was still employed. Took the three hour CSWA (SolidWorks Certification) exam last month and passed!! Now I'm trying to figure out if I should pursue an Associates Degree in Engineering. On hold for the past 30 mins with the transcripts department of my former college where I got my Bachelors in Finance, so I don't have to retake Calculus, etc. I'm in my late 40's and know that I am lucky enough to be financially able to change careers. Just wondering now if getting an Associates at my age will be enough for me to break into the industry.1 point
