Couple of Christmas builds. I particularly love the airship; it's very cleverly done. Yay LEGO!6 points

Oh, well since she tested positive, there was no point on saving it, but it's good to know for the future (or chalk up to pregnancy brain) ***Edit, the sheet says to use the second test if you get an inconclusive first one, that's it *** Plus Mathew answered whom to blame: It's the billionaires! Lousy bastards. Yay LEGO!4 points

Thanks! I recover fast and we both drank two doses of koolaid so we should be fine. My wife is 33 weeks pregnant and should benefit from antibodies or magic. I'm not a doctor, but I do play one with Lego. I forget who to blame this week. Is it still Biden? Trump? China? The Moon? Trudeau (it's always his fault)? The Lego clerk? Yay LEGO!4 points

Thanks to whoever posted the gingerbread house reduction. Easily the best deal of the year (well, excluding the target glitch). $30 after they refunded the difference x 4. If only I had gone super big on these, coulda killed it. I guess that many returns woulda got me banned tho4 points

Vaccines are not a silver bullet but, to claim that they do not matter as far as spreading COVID is concerned is incorrect. https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/p0607-mrna-reduce-risks.html https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-02689-y https://www.newscientist.com/article/2294250-how-much-less-likely-are-you-to-spread-covid-19-if-youre-vaccinated/ I had a quick look into the source you provided. The presenter works for Epoch Times, who have a history of spreading COVID misinformation.3 points

On that note, I tested negative yesterday after being at Great Wolf Lodge and King’s Island last week. I was also directly exposed at a friend’s house last Friday.3 points

That 25% of the vaccinated crew tested positive in no way supports your assertion that “vaccination status does not matter as far as spreading Covid.” If anything it supports that vaccines are effective in curbing wide spread outbreaks as the majority of the crew, 75%, did not test positive. https://www.military.com/daily-news/2021/12/27/nearly-25-of-navy-warship-crew-has-covid-19.html Sources and credibility still matter. The Epoch Times is a fringe far right publication associated with the Falun Gong religious movement. They support Qanon, anti-vaccine, anti-evolution and Trump’s stolen election claims. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Epoch_Times Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Why the hell. With all of the testing you’re bound to test positive. What’s the point that except to give more money to the billionaire es behind this fiasco.2 points

Lego DOTS Monsters was sitting in clearance aisle, at 50% off, in store at Walmart. Not that anyone but me here really plays attention to DOTS 😂2 points

488k daily US cases today, Florida 78k new daily record beating the mid 30s records from last week. Knew we could do it! NY 74k as well beating their 67k record from yesterday. might be able to get to a 100k daily state records soon at that rate.2 points

Not to be the contrarian, the only thing I did not like about Assembly Square is the sorting of pieces. I posted this when I built it when it first came out that they should have had numbered bags 1-20 and for those that want a more challenging experience go ahead and open them all. Agreed that Jamie did an amazing job with it, but I still don’t want a GWP that has his name on it OBTW I think building that UCS AT-AT has been very therapeutic for you. Keep up the good work!1 point

This is exactly what will happen. By April/May this will all be over. Even the government is signaling it. They are trying to back out of this thing quickly. Soon people will quit testing and the cases will plummet just like India after delta. Vax or not you will get Omni and should have mild symptoms gaining you solid protection against all other strains. Omni will also make all other strains extinct while giving base immunity to everyone. Covid will then become cold like, like the many other coronavirus’ before it. Omni is the ultimate world immunizer. This follows the path I’ve been saying for two years here. I do not say this to minimize people experiences and problems caused by covid. My family has been effected from both covid and vaccine problems. I empathize. I state these thing to show people there is an end and it’s rapidly approaching. We should be optimistic in the macro sense. Obviously individual cases are their own tragedies. I speak to the big picture with my opinions.1 point

I love Assembly Square. It’s almost underrated. Jamie Berard did an amazing job putting so much detail into it. At $279 it’s a steal compared to the current $200 modulars.1 point

We are battling multiple people calling out with Covid in my business of about 25 employees. Most are minor, cold like, symptoms. I'm figuring this will all shake out by the end of January and we can all get our lives back. Positive cases are much higher than posted....maybe ten times higher according to some doctors/scientists.1 point

I tend to believe stonewars/promobricks 90% on retiring lists.....and 10000% percent on UNretiring lists for the simple reason that its based on the ability to reorder sets - would be bizarre for lego to tell stores they CANT reorder after 12/31, then tell them that they CAN, and them change theyre minds again. At this point these sets are guaranteed to be rolling off the factory lines soon if not already. Sold 150 Baking competitions at 57$ on amazon last week, not gonna get stuck with them potentially for another year minimum. Same with F. Bus. Couldnt get rid of my bugattis though, still have about 10.1 point

No, the moment you stake you get the benefits. Day 1. The 180 days is the amount of time your staked tokens are frozen. Once that six month period expires you can unstake and do as you please. You can always keep them staked to continue the card benefits. I pulled the trigger on this company and their product because of the advertising and all their regulatory and security moves. Plus Crypto.com buying the naming rights to the Staples center for 20 years gave me enough confidence they are not going anywhere and its not some fly by night scam. I purchased about 2200$ worth incrementally during the big run up, not really thinking much of the card. I only bought into the token because I was using the app and CRO was rising fast. Well, it ran up enough where my tokens reached the 4000$ value. I'd been looking into the card and decided to jump in. I clicked a button and staked my 4k worth of tokens for 180 days. Within one hour of staking I had a virtual debit card(still waiting for the physical version) which I can top off with my bank card or bank transfer. It's really easy. Then, as I use it for payments, I get instant 3% dollars back in CRO. I've used it a lot of the holidays and accumulated a lot of free CRO. Plus every Monday I get my 10% apr payment in CRO(about 10.8 CRO a week). Lastly I linked my Spotify and Netflix payments to the debit card. I'm refunded those amounts instantly in CRO. Basically 26$ a month in CRO for those subscriptions. One last perk is you get free airport lounge access. I don't travel so this means nothing to me. Hope this helps.1 point

Exactly! I just want a csv copy. I would have made a backup if I would have known the feature was not going to be available/taken down for a long time. If you don't want to bring back the brickfolio, that is perfectly fine. Just give us our csv copies and most will be happy.1 point

What a debacle by this administration. We had to drive 30 minutes to an out of town library to get tests because the doctor’s office was out. Daughter is positive but OK. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 points
