Finally got around to building the Blacksmith Shop I scored for 30% off a few months. I have to say that this was a very enjoyable build and will stay in my collection. The light brick gimmick is actually really cool.

I got my booster a few weeks ago and only had a sore arm. I found out Sunday night that a friend of mine I visited (who was sick) tested positive for COVID. Of course, this was after having my Mom over Saturday and having my wife's family Christmas with all my in-laws and kids on Sunday. I'm waiting until tomorrow to get tested, but haven't really had any symptoms or anything yet. I should be ok, but I'm going over to a friend's tomorrow night for Book of Boba Fett.

supposed to get mine soon was waiting to see rheumatologist early January for follow up and see whether to get 1/2 or full. I didn't get anything out of the first 2 moderna, just sore arm for 2 days. had neurology follow up today and said everything sounds good. Said the toe neuropathy could be from the sarcoid and seeing its not bad not doing anything at this time. If it gets worse or anything else pops up he can always treat it.

Past few orders I put "Please ship in outer box" in the gift note and they have.

Hit up local LEGO Store. Grabbed 3 London Buses which WERE there last week (I think they had 6 at that time) and 2 Disney Train Stations which were NOT there last week. 20% off. I was actually hoping to grab a Roller Coaster at 20% off, but those were gone. Quite a few Upside Down's and Croc Locos at MSRP in stock. They told me they were aggressively hoping to make room for the new 2022 sets. We'll see if that leads to more markdowns in a relatively short amount of time.

I have 9x total shipping orders, 2x of which have now shipped. The rest are a mix of backorder/preparing to ship...all estimated between October 5th & October 13th. It's a bit wonky. The order of 10x White Houses is split 3x preparing to ship/7x backordered, for example.

Costco.ca just restocked: 1. Roller Coaster, 2. Corner Garage, 3. Assembly Square, 4. UCS Millennium Falcon.

Walmart putting the online order red and white sticker squares on LEGOs and then yanking them and the artwork off with them before throwing them in the shipping box. They come of nicely if pulled off slowly, but clearly the employees that are packing my orders don’t care. The sets are otherwise in fine condition which makes it even more frustrating. 😡
