Hahaha! I won the bet with my wife! I said “I bet this one dude misses the whole point, and grinds the conspiracy-conservative axe on the back of my post!” $100 donated to Antifa!7 points

Doesn't matter if he thinks or even "knows" it's BS. If a family member asked me to take a 5 minute test before a gathering just so that they feel better about the situation then I would (maybe I just love and respect my family more than you though). It's not like they are asking him to get vaccinated first or anything. If you can't be considerate to family then... Sorry, I am pretty far right, but even I think that your trolling is way off on this one. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk7 points

Got busy and never updated but actually arrived at dealership the next day after posting that last assembly line photo. Took possession 12/8/21 from a 7/13/20 reservation... Got about 400 miles on it so far and its fun to drive. Feels like a tank on the road and lot more room / comfort than the Wranglers I drove for a few weeks. Color looks a lot more vibrant in the sun too and darker at night. Were shocked I was keeping it, said most were just having them sell on the lot.5 points

I literally just make a single post per theme with prices in the description. Refresh it every Friday. Nothing too fancy. Prices are all that matter and I ensure mine are cheaper than what they can get online. I think we're all hoping that tax time will knock them out of the game. SSNs will be requested once they hit $600 in sales and hopefully that starts an exodus. As a side note this is apparently my 1,000th post. With only 2,948 likes, I was unable to maintain a 3 to 1 like to post ratio. Sad times were had4 points

My sales are down about 25% from 2020 to 2021, but that is not surprising since I offloaded a huge chunk of my inventory in bulk deals earlier in the year. All of the new competition is going to make things more challenging in the years to come and will tighten margins, but I've been planning for this for at least 6 years and have enough scale to make up in volume what I lose in margin. We'd have to have the old msrp or current value price to argue over first. Toe pics are for the onlyfans account, not giving that away for free.. Gotta Bronco to pay for!3 points

It must be the day before Christmas. Jyn Erso sold for $15 (bought for $5 in 2017) and 60139 sold local for a few bucks above RRP (bought for $22 in 2018). Sent from my moto g power (2021) using Tapatalk2 points

Other honorable mentions on the Best Buy GC deal include HP Hogsmeade and Adidas sneakers. Although I still can’t bring myself to buy a pair of shoes. Mankind was meant to go barefoot and suffer stepping on LEGO bricks.2 points

Coming from you I’d say more neurotic than logical. Again we don’t know the full story. I’d trust a nurse practitioner who’s in the trenches more than the armchair news watchers.2 points

The discounted gift card to buy another gift card worked at target once. It was glorious.1 point

Best buy doesn't let you use gift cards to purchase gift cards... so any order that you are getting a free gift card with you won't be able to use a gift card for the purchase. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk1 point

not much difference. you get 20 or so more torque out of the electric motors so off the line won't feel a difference. 0-60 is 6.9 on the v6 vs 7.7 on the 4 cylinder hybrid. won't have as much zip at highway speeds but around town the electric always impresses. Usually feels zippier from the few hybrids I've driven. Same engine as in Rav4, Venza, Highlander hybrid with 2 electric motors for non awd and 3 for awd. Was rated for 33 but most are hitting 36mpg on them. Come down to if you do more in town versus hwy would think. Hybrids always better in town mileage and the power you don't notice. Will lose some power going up hills in mountains with it though.1 point

I can tell you guys I have 7-8 regional Targets, and they all got 3+ restocked a couple days ago and pretty much all have been cleared out in the last couple days. I had to go out for a couple store pickups today and it was a freaking nightmare out there this afternoon.1 point

yeah I was through the final stages of a maverick order for daughter multiple times. Was just worried the timing would beat the Bronco at the time. Few came in recently but with 8k markups although sounded like they'd do close to retail if I pushed seeing I bought the Bronco. Said Mavericks are about 2 years out, Lighting F150's the same and Bronco still about same. The whole order as you go thing is changing the game. Maverick they also didn't build any of the hybrids really up front so those will be forever. Pushing out the 2.0 Ecoboosts with higher price tags first. Not sure if issue with the Hybrid or just for the higher sales tag. Did drive an Escape Titanium Hybrid for 2 days that they were doing some stuff on the Bronco for me and its the same as the Maverick engine and was a blast to drive for a little car. Daughter liked that one. They had 5k markup on that but said I could have at retail and possibly 1-2k off for repeat and courtesy car. Was getting 40-50 mpg on 3-5 mile trips between stores which was pretty crazy. Bronco is getting a whopping 15.4mpg through first 400 miles. Mix of in traffic but mostly highway to warehouse. That's babying it too. Leadfooting will get you down into the 12's. Best I've seen reported with 2.7 and Sasquatch package is 19 which must be all highway at 65-70. Wifes / Daughters Grand Cherokee gets 12.3 with the Hemi and Sequoia gets about 15-16 with the 5.7 so mileage never been my strong suit. Got the wife the Camry XSE 2 years ago and that is worth more than we paid cause we bought at beginning of covid with steep discounts. Gave 8k or so off. Daughter was supposed to get the Jeep but then wife kept driving both when she could. Camry was by far the best value out there for the price paid compared to any SUV. Wife hadn't had a car in a long time but sticker shock on new suv's got her. Could have 2 of those for price of loaded Bronco. Maverick is another one though that you'd really have 0 depreciation next few years on as cheap as it is if you preordered and the backlog.1 point

Sales down 35% this year (compared to last), but still good (since last yr was nuts). My big drop/concern is this holiday season - Holiday sales down almost 60%, and over 45% this quarter. I am thinking it is related to waning LEGO interest. Definitely not feeling optimistic for 2022.1 point

Put in my order for the Ford Maverick on 10/25 and was told we’d be lucky to see it before May 2022. Ford issued a production stoppage to fix a seat belt issue, so there’s an extra month or two added to that I guess. I haven’t even seen a Maverick in wild at this point or been able to go do a test drive. The dealership was almost giddy at me flying the possibility of cancelling. I think they want as many of these on their show room floor as possible. Did a test drive in one of the broncos. It was amazingly roomy and the screen is massive. Exactly. Which was why all of your interpretations were uncalled for. Would you want someone to put all of these contrarian comments when you are the one complaining about situations with YOUR family? Seriously, I hate to call out someone in public, but this is just basic decency.1 point

We don’t know the family dynamics or the whole story. My interpretation is that the family is being over demanding of a sibling who rather not attend if he has a feeling coerced. It’s his personal choice.1 point

We don’t know the full story. The brother as a nurse practitioner may be required to be tested regularly and just wants to enjoy Christmas without being treated like a leper. Are the rest of the family members doing a rapid Covid test Christmas Eve? Or are they coercing the brother just because he’s around sick people on a regular basis? Seems neurotic to me.1 point
-
And just maybe as a nurse practitioner he knows more than you do about Covid and is sick and tired of all the bullshit 🤷♂️1 point

Today's compliant: When I am not sure from the context WHICH side is hiding political trolling, so I am not sure if I should be outraged or not. Yesterday's compliant: When your brother won't deign to get a covid rapid test before gathering Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning because he believes it is all a hoax, even though your mom asked him too, your sisters asked him too, your dad is 85 and has two types of active cancer, and other health issues... and he (brother) is a nurse practitioner, so you have to tell him he is being selfish, and if not swabbing his nose for 5 minutes is too much to ask before he comes to Christmas Eve, (even if he thinks it is bullshit! Jump through the hoop Asswipe!) then he has made the decision NOT to come, but he is the youngest, so Mom says "Please come Christmas morning!" So you are the As*****.1 point

Reached out to a good friend that I have wronged years and years back and we went our own separate ways. Been meaning to approach him for a couple years but I’ve been putting it off ( think the old man and his son from home alone ). We aren’t hanging out for Christmas but at least we talked for a good bit1 point
