yes but there is no way you can fulfill guaranteed 2 or 1 day delivery using UPS Ground (as you selected during setup) so amazon selects the shipping service to meet the promise you made. here's the shipping settings you posted the other day (below). as i said before, no reason to offer guarantee 1 or 2 day shipping unless you want to get screwed on margins with shipping costs. if you continue to offer TWO DAY DELIVERY and ONE DAY DELIVERY - you're going to be sending a lot of pacakages by air, no way around that. also allowing amazon to manage your transit time under standard shipping may contribute to excess shipping charges. i prefer to define my transit times. in order to be able to provide 2-3 shipping for free under expedited (not guaranteed), you have to break it down by region and subdivide it by state like i posted a couple of days ago (below). i have zero air shipments this season (yikes - that sounds margin crushing). i had 3 day ups to cali somehow slip through but other than that 85% of my shipping costs under $9 and is UPS ground. everything i'm selling is package weighed, dimensions already entered. when i sell something, i immediately purchase the shipping, even if i'm away from m y printer because many times you may catch a better shipping rate then if you wait to purchase the next day. i print the label later on.3 points

eek. a novel. so many words. how about telling them to return it if they are not happy with the price. found better price is an option. at this point in the season the axis is time, not price. deduct the shipping cost. hopefully no damage. catering to this kind of bs just invites further scamming as you get along into this transactions rabbit hole. i've been selling on amazon since 2013 and never been asked this type of crap - this is ebay stuff. last time i checked, there was no bidding or haggling on amazon. take the small l before it turns into a big L. this is last minute bargaining tactic from a late and lazy "bargain hunter". you give 'em a discount, then there's something else wrong. just have them return it, ding them for whatever and be done with this crap. i'm guessing they'll just back down.2 points

if mando is in its 7th season then many will be kicking themselves for not getting this set They just signed Harrison Ford to return to Star Wars...this Mando thing is gonna get really really big...an equivalent comp is the 2nd Iron man...who knew back then that MCU was gonna become what it has become...a decade from now the Star WArs Uni set off by The Mandalorian may be something we don't even recognize...and these early sets may appreciate in likewise fashion.2 points

i was selling 10758 from May - August for $114.99. i could go on and on. the only set that is selling much more from the summer is hp quidditch match - that set is appreciating quickly now. i was selling trex mech battles for $249 in august now under $200. unless you have an ton of crap to move, the holidays are the worst time to sell due to increased fees/shipping cost and increased return percentage and exploding sellers coming out of hibernation (hopefully go back soon). for me the holidays are time to unload the 75% off clearance and the duds.2 points

Treat yourself to a shopping vacation down the 401. I’m in Scarborough and make the drive there once a month or so since they tend to have exclusives and hard to find sets both before everyone else gets them and after everyone else sells out.1 point

That exact error in that listing has been there for at least two years. In that time, I've ordered a ton of these. I always received the 10700.1 point

I ordered it last week and received LEGO 10700 green baseplates even though the text says 2304. List price shows $9.99 but msrp should be $7.99 which makes it 25% off, not 40%.1 point

Curious. I just sent a support e-mail on the 13th about a J.Crew Factory order and got a reply within 16 hours fixing my missing points issue. You're sure you're sending to the right e-mail address? [email protected] I get an automated reply when I send e-mails there. Also when I do the screengrabs I paste them into a Google drawing doc which is helpful when you've got like 15 different exclusive offers (had this at J.Crew)1 point

6 Kohls orders all since Dec. 4th have come in boxes, packaged well and all but 1 with great boxes. The 1 without a great box was a stormtrooper helmet that looked like someone squeezed too hard causing creases down the side (not anywhere close to worth returning). No matter the size of the set or quantity ordered they have come in Kohls boxes. Feeling really fortunate considering some of the posts I've read.1 point

More progress today on removing ban history from Target. Deleted the Safari cookie data for target.com and was able to make a regular purchase without incognito mode. Afterwards, tried the app again and instant cancellation. Did a full app delete with data, reinstalled, placed order, and it went through. So the app doesn’t use safari cookies but has its own tracking data. So, it appears that any ban I had us no longer tied to my account and any lingering tracking mechanisms that were trying to continue to enforce the ban have been purged from my devices.1 point

amazon now defaults to Shipping Setting Automation which basically lets amazon define what the delivery time paramters versus the good old fashioned way where i can define it now by sub regions in each state. you still have to offer free shipping to everyone starndard but you can discourage far away purchasers by offering crap delivery time. you can encourage local buyers by offering free expedited shipping to that nearby zone which if nearby equates to UPS GROUND and USPS PRIORITY. i don't know away to disable this automation when you create template but once create the template you can edit it and then under that page you can turn off SHIPPING SETTING AUTOMATION and then do it by region where you define the time. this needs to be set to off.1 point

10% Off Membership works on LEGO, it no longer works on CLEARANCE items, LEGO or otherwise. It still works on SALE items however. For.. Reasons.1 point

Accept the return , nothing else is needed at this point . Buyer pays shippings , charge restocking if needed once item is returned1 point

I would NEVER send out such a message. Too much emotion. Just reply that you offer to refund $x, with $x being an amount you are comfortable with that is on par with the return shipment cost, plus a little extra. Like @brickology101 said.1 point

Offer to reimburse the difference to his or her lower price from Geekbox then you will see if the return is seriously about a lower price or pretext. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

any suggestions is appreciated: ********* congrats on finding a better price. Just a friendly reminder, Geekbox is UK based company, it may take even months for the item to be delivered. There is also a bigger chance you will receive a damaged/crushed box. TP buy low from ebay and drop ship?1 point

Or maybe will just be over produced due to the artificial demand by lego resellers. Anyone Remember beanie babies? I also like this ship.1 point

You mean in 3 years from now when that set is going for $250+ we're all going to lament how we left mountains of them on the shelves ...?1 point

Latest fun game is seeing how many orders go through before TP sees it and drops price further. They've done fantastic job murdering the Jurassic World line this Christmas.1 point

As for operating with a single account to stay within the vendor’s technically-enforced limits, I believe this is the current state of things. Cliff notes: you’ll be fine as long as you don’t go on a spending spree at Target.com, and try not to bring attention to your buying patterns by dealing with online customer service for small gripes that can be dealt with in store instead. Target - the easiest place to get banned based simply on purchase volume online and the most aggressive against resellers in store — employees trained to identify resellers loading up carts for example. Can still use red card in store after online ban, but using with a new email account will result in repeat ban — start receiving auto cancellations and email about possible issues including payment purchase method. Some people have bans lifted after a period in timeout. Others indefinitely. The amount of purchases that may identify you as a reseller and get a ban? One data point: I have been unable to purchase online going on 18 months now after two months of $5k purchases on the red card. Same red card still works fine in store. LEGO shop at home — with the purchase limits mechanics implemented a few years ago, it is much more difficult to get the SAH ban hammer. If you exceed a limit on any item based on past purchases of the same item, they will cancel your entire order. Be warned that if they cancel an order with a VIP Rewards purchase, the reward is not automatically credited back to your account. Also, if they cancel an item due to inventory issues, the system still tracks it as qty purchased. Qty purchased in brick and mortar stores that are purchased with VIP accounts are not counted towards SAH limits and and limits in store are done at the individual store’s discretion. If you do have to call customer service to resolve an issue, they do have easy visibility to all of your previous orders and will make comments about you “really liking LEGOs”. No indication that that is how the ban process starts, but unless you really have an issue that needs CS, might be best to just let the small things go. Amazon — shop away. Their limits are tracked to the second on a 168-hour FIFO. Limits apply and are tracked in that window only to items sold and shipped by Amazon.com. Buy as many third party items as you wish. Anecdotal stories of bans for excessive returns, but no clear information on the metrics used. Generally, probably best to save the returns for the really bad boxes. Creating multiple accounts will get noticed and is the quickest way to get the warning shot emails. Barnes and Noble — similar to LEGO, has a five qty per item lifetime limit online. Exceed that amount and just that item will be cancelled from the order. No reports of bans. In store purchases do not appear to be tied to online memberships as far as adding to your 5-count quantity. Walmart — most LEGO are limited to two per order, but they won’t say how often that limit is reset. Doing a couple of multiple limit orders in the same day has worked. Doing dozens has resulted in order cancellations of those specific items but no bans that I am aware of. Generally, I have found one limit order per day has never resulted in a cancellation. ShopDisney — some items have limits but they are selectively enforced. If you put in multiple limit orders at the same time, they might cancel those items. If you space them out, they will be fine. I ordered a dozen castles (limit one per customer) last year and they all went through. Sometimes two in two consecutive days. Costco — has item limits on some items, but I haven’t seen any on LEGOs. Even with items with limits, possible to space them out without issue. In store limits are usually “per day”. Best Buy — unsure on LEGO as I’ve never pushed the limits on them. In the past, I would make 50 purchases at a time of 2-dollar items that had limits and they would all go through. I have tried to make multiple purchases of Xbox consoles and those were cancelled. So YMMV. But no reports of bans. Anyways, those are my observations.1 point

Same. I has two missing. First worked like a charm. Second time, complete silence. When I get the chat, it stops responding immediately as well. I also can't redeem my funds. Every time I get to the last step, the three dots just keep blinking. I'm guessing account is on some kind of blacklist. But without customer service, can't even find that out. And for $35, no point threatening legal action.0 points
