Amazon has been inventorying my stuff in 1 day from the ship date. Insane. Was expecting it to take a week. Shipped the stuff out last night. Half of it in receiving status today.3 points

Don't believe I have ever felt compelled to say this about LEGO before - but the price of this set is truly offensive.3 points

Not a Winner but a decent gainer I suppose, most of the times the not obvious sets in terms of coolness are good gainers, just simply because they are overlooked and supply is less.2 points

Anybody ever get yelled at for being a reseller scumbag? I did today. Apparently I'm personally responsible for ruining Christmas for needy children, and should get a job, a life, and should cry myself to sleep from shame. I'm not listing anything on F.B marketplace again. 😀2 points

I'd say you're safe. I'm sure they get bored printing money at LEGO and scam a customer now and then just to break the monotony, but I'm betting yours is okay.1 point

nice stressing of gating and gates on a set that happens to be a....1 point

heavily gated set - are you able to list it on your amazon store? i suspect the low seller count has to do with this more than underhoarding. doesn't mean it won't be a great performer but could be artificially elevating price on that marketplace if only 14 sellers are allowed through the gate.1 point

Lego 75936 T Rex just about 14 copies until it hits $550 on amazon pretty amazing1 point

Maybe Lego should have gone all out and made it a Pirate Ship first and foremost. The ship wreck aspect was less appealing to the AFOLs. I think the Imperial Flagship is more universally appealing to even non-Pirate collectors.1 point

my take is that resellers using bots is really unfair because that's not an even playing field. THEY are scum, IMO because they are truly ruining the retail experience. If everyone has the same opportunities to purchase something...and certain folks makes it a higher priority than others...then folks need to live by their choices. In terms of buying more than one...that's on manufacturer or primary retailer...its their call to impose limits.1 point

Any time someone "yelled" at me about such things, I apologized for selling it but that I needed the money. If they would like to donate to me without buying it, that would be a huge help. They usually go away after that. Of course, I don't tell them my "reseller fund" is what I'm funding at the moment... lol.1 point

This is a 20 lb turkey sized YMMV, but stopped by B&N today and they had 3x 30628 MBOB on shelf. Price was $15.18/each before 10% member discount. Not on website so you have to go at it blind - old school. Roads were already horrendous and was not in mood to see if each store was stocked... good luck!1 point

White whale acquired ... $150 plus $5 for 2 missing parts from BL. Even included spares. Missed this during my Dark Ages so had to pay 2+ x RRP. Sent from my LG-TP450 using Tapatalk1 point

lol, not saying it will suck. I actually think its a winner. Just that its a tad overhoarded. and supply seems endless1 point

So Kohls still has Hagrid Huts in stock after 3 days depsite BF pricing. so does amazon despite blowing them out at 50% off. im starting to think this is gonna be one of those A wing situations where they stay by amazon for a year.... And there are 170 sellers? This is my candidate for the most hoarded set of 2021. Opinions to contrary welcome.1 point

I apologize if this is old news. Target has HP Umbridge at $21 (30%) off. https://www.target.com/p/lego-harry-potter-forbidden-forest-umbridge-39-s-encounter-with-minifigures-75967/-/A-78930005#lnk=sametab Supposed to retire although it's TOOS and not sold out at SAH. Amazon is out of own stock. Walmart $21.77. Have to be honest, not sure how much of a winner this one will be.1 point

Because Target is a pain in the ass. They want your business, but don't want to make it easy to work with them. Their 3rd party API people hate working with them so they don't support their tools and they offer 0% commission for sending people to their site to buy stuff from them. Walmart is a close 2nd.1 point

Dollar Tree is officially raising their prices to $1.25. A 25% increase is a blow to a lot of low income folks who actually buy groceries there and likely a sign of price increases across the board. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 points

No reseller scum issues, just issues with mail carriers as usual. I work out of a small warehouse now and USPS refuses to deliver to the location. "There is no signage it could be anyone here" "There is no name on a mail box" The last two days I've been at the warehouse all day and keep getting "business wasn't open"... Scheduled a pickup with UPS they never showed up. Scheduled another delivery, they were 2 hours late.0 points
