I did LA -> Flagstaff -> Albuquerque -> OKC -> Memphis this summer in a Tesla Model 3 SR+. Long drives each day. Would totally do it again though. Beautiful country.
Fly Over territory is where it’s at. I can’t imagine living on the west or NE coasts. The draconian mandates and exorbitant cost of living is enough to push most rational, family oriented people out.
The ratchet strap holding it together? down the center is a nice touch, but the hood mounted tachometer is the best part here (yeah, I googled it). Cool project!
Got the Kenner AT-AT for Christmas in 1980 - probably my favorite Christmas gift of all time (followed by G1 Megatron, and later Omega Supreme)
