  1. Was able to grab 25 10267 Gingerbreads at $60 each. Crazy, missed just about everything here in the States for BF, but was able to order a bunch back in Romania. At least it wasn't a total loss for BF.

  3. That’s exactly the problem. No one wants to rent anything one way, west coast to east coast. At least, not at the price they charged me 6 weeks ago when I reserved it. I’m sure they’d rent it to me if I paid the 2x greater price it is now. Instead, I did end up buying a trailer today. If I decide to get rid of it in Florida, I’m certain I’ll still spend less than if I had rented one.

  6. It certainly has Shop Your Way rewards vibes … or that app they had where they (SYW) were giving crazy promotions to lure people in …

  7. Picked this up yesterday for $65 off of craigslist ($35 for the Ducati and $30 for the rest). Notables are 42107 Ducati with box and instructions and 79013 Hobbit Lake Town Chase with instructions, box, and a sealed bag. I found two of the figures so far from light digging. I'm hoping the rest of the pieces and figures are in the box. I can already see that the box has some mega blocks mixed in.

  12. Technic 16x16x1 brick. Each of the LEGO Art sets include nine. I do not believe there is a preference for round over square or vice versa. Or even flat tiles over open studs. The end result of what you may find more visually pleasing or trying to achieve is up to you. Using all squares leaves no gaps for a complete almost pixel art style of portrait. The Personalized Mosaic Portrait (40179) is a good example of this. However the limited usage of gray there makes the product look like a very low contrast jpeg file. On the other hand with rounded plates or tiles allowing a sort of 'pinched star' pattern made from the background pieces gives off a near photo realistic quality while still artistic from a distance. Case in point The Beatles (31198). Also rounded parts are a tad easier to remove or set down than the square variety.

  13. Did some more reading. apparently square tiles ARE more preferable for looks but theyre more difficult to align.... I came across this cool website that will spit out directions and part list for any image. https://lego-art-remix.com/. and i found a site that sells 1 x1 tiles at 1 cent each (shhhhhh............) so even a 10,000 piece will only be 100$. not too bad.

  16. You could have gotten 2 yesterday, pocket the $10 in Kohl's cash, and then today bought the third one "for you" for $29.99-$10 = $19.99 after Kohl's cash. Then sell the other 2 locally for just over RRP ... there's your discount! EDIT: $23.99 online available for shipping at JoAnn's - Shipping is $7.99 but NOV299SHIP makes that $2.99.

  18. easy solution...just buy all new stuff! have you looked into just getting a used trailer off CL? Then re-sale in FL. Might actually be cheaper than rentals (in the long run; assuming it sells)

  20. Venetian Buildings with modular buildings. Creator shared these but some may not notice them in the comments. Beautiful but expensive. I believe 2nd image is Venetian Buildings in one of its alternate configurations. Might be better suited for Modular layout than some realize.
