My biggest gripe is the lack of printed instructions. The largest market for these sets (AFOL's) would prefer something tangible, instead of something online. I realize they can be printed at home, but it's still not the same. Small issue, but I think it's important to note.

I had the same issue with the general list. I ended up creating multiple lists such as My Wishlist, Star Wars, HP, etc. so I didn't go over the limit threshold. I also created lists to help keep track of how many sets I've bought. For example, if I buy a SW set, I'll add it to the "SW Bought 1" list. If I buy it again, I'll move it to the "SW Bought 2" list. Might be a little much, but it helps me keep track of how many sets I've bought from LEGO and hopefully not get orders cancelled due to their order limits.

Picked this up yesterday for $65 off of craigslist ($35 for the Ducati and $30 for the rest). Notables are 42107 Ducati with box and instructions and 79013 Hobbit Lake Town Chase with instructions, box, and a sealed bag. I found two of the figures so far from light digging. I'm hoping the rest of the pieces and figures are in the box. I can already see that the box has some mega blocks mixed in.

I am still expecting that someone at LEGO will just decide "c'mon, can't we at least print out some instructions for these guys".

Danger! Danger! Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This set is selling for $600-$700 every day on Ebay. Prob more on Amazon. I wouldn't touch this. But that's just my opinion.

😀 lol fantastic. honestly think unless people are buying larger sets in huge numbers that take years, you might as well just wait until its narrowed down every year. then go big. most groupls im in now spend more time offloading non retiring sets to free up cash.

I ended up with the LEGO Modular and Windmill…. The 2 sets I would be ok keeping if resale is not at a good level. I may even keep the modular regardless. Will be interesting to see where these end up, although the wait will be quite long…

Just pre-ordered the Venetian Houses, great set. The bowling alley, lego shop and ruined house look great too, but I think the affiliation and romantisation of the venetian houses will make it a popular set.

This is untrue right now unfortunately. If you have a receipt from Lego.com for 10 items (hello polybags) you can get through. The gate is as wide open as it has been since the gate was first dropped, hence the flood of new sellers on listings.

Shopping at kohls is the most frustrating experience in existence. I put through quite a few orders over the black friday sale. Half were cancelled? Half shipped? Every time i got a cancellation they forced me to change my password and that numerous login attempts were made and they suspected my account was breached? I was able to spend 30% of the kohls cash before my orders began being cancelled (following the same password reset process process above). The kohls cash seems valid (which is different than the permaban I received on an old account of mine). May just go to the store and buy 10 dyson vacuums and call it a day.

I suppose they want to sell the 10th anniversary set up until the next anniversary set is available?! LEGO has no clue how to treat an "anniversary set"....it's ridiculous that a 10th anniversary set is still available almost 6 years later...SMH

only thing I do the shake test on is my dickens... those didn't have any loose pieces , even the plates were bagged. Bag could of popped though with a few small loose ones falling out.

As of right now, 4 of the sets have reached funded status. Only the LEGO Store is approaching sold out status (still has a little while).

If you order something on backorder on double vip day, you still get double points. Just not sure if the promo applies to this program. I'm guessing not but would be nice to know.

Ordered a Lego Store with no issues. Thinking about the Venetian House....

Harder with FBA vs FBM. Had a buyer try to scam me on a Treehouse earlier in the year. (FBM) They returned the set with some random lego (maybe 20 pieces) and some River rocks. For that transaction here is what I did. 1. Notify the buyer via message in Seller Central that they will not get a refund b/c of what they returned. (keep it polite and professional.) 2. Process a restocking fee and include images of what was returned. (in this case the restocking fee was 100%) 3. Create a Case and add images of returned items. (In my case rocks etc.) 4. Wait while the Amazon rep files a fraudulent buyer report.

I've always taken a "pedal to the metal" approach with my buying, but I never saw the sense in not ordering as much as a store would allow me to order out of some sense of beneficence towards the collective good. Sure, that type of ordering causes retailers to change their policies, but it's not like my holding back is going to make a huge difference when there are plenty of other people out there taking the same approach. The buying latitude that we get from any retailer at any point in time is inherently temporary...nothing good lasts forever so take full advantage of something that's good when it's available. Has anyone been banned by WM since they instituted the 2 unit limit? I was quasi-banned before that went into place with orders being cancelled randomly, but had no problem with any orders with WM after that new limit went into effect.
