Big Technic Orange Porsche. $700 Ebay free shipping.5 points

Over the past few weeks I've been on a Technic kick. Next is the Bugatti, of which I will need to find the space to mount both that and the Porsche 911 on the Wall, to make room ALSO for the Ferrari F88 GTE. But I think ill omit the stickers to make that one a road LM car. The McLaren Senna GTR is also on my purchase list as it will fit in the hauler.4 points

To purchase the Reindeer element direct from LEGO the cost is $5.86 each so those four reindeer make up 63% of the cost of this set, not including the rigging to connect them to the sleigh. While $36.99 seems high, it is actually fair based on the cost of the elements in the set. ANIMAL, NO. 98 Element 6310336 Design Number 69060 Unit Price USD 5.863 points

well I see it as more of a benefit to shoppers the house and sleigh in a single set would be pushing well past $100..and some may only want sleigh or the house2 points

75945 Expecto Patronum had 4 minfigs and the trans-blue stag for $20. And the stag was a new mold. So $37 is pretty bonkers. I get 4 reindeer is high for a GWP but then again the sailboat has 2 dolphins and 2 minifigs. So could have been with a $200 purchase.1 point

I built the Chinese Lantern Festival using mils but really, I drove around the city looking for this porch greeter. I then ran to storage to grab my ecto-1 and GBHQ so that Spengler and Co. can go atop the hotel at Central Park west. Festival is nice, but the sidewalk is too narrow and you can't walk around the bench or lampposts. My poor citizens have to walk into traffic... Or marshmallow men1 point

Got my box from Minifigures+ today. I did not get 3 full sets. 3 - Scarlet Witch 3 - Vision 3 - Monica 3 - Bucky 3 - Falcon 5 - Loki 1 - Sylvie 3 - Spidey 3 - Cap 3 - Carter 3 - T'Challa 3 - Gamora I mean, I'm irritated, but I also fully expect 2 of the Loki's to change when I'm not looking at them.1 point

My dad made me learn on a VW Rabbit years ago. Great skill to know. Last month I visited a buddy of mine in Colorado Springs for Vaca. He had an extra car he let me use. He asked if I knew how to drive a stick. I showed up and he gave me a brand new "racing" Miata convertible with 3000 miles on it. Fully modified. It was awesome hauling ass around the mountains. Took it to Aspen. It was a blast. Then one morning we got up early and we went racing.....err....I mean driving....across one of the mountain passes with him driving. He knew the limits of the vehicle and how to drive it properly. It was a blast! Oh, and he also had a Nissan GTR we ripped as well. Something like 1100 horsepower on that bad boy. He had it up to 207mph on an airport runway where they were allowed to race for a weekend.1 point

Flipping LEGO is one thing. Flipping brand-new cars is a whole different ball game. My wife would file for divorce.1 point

Part 2 of Modular-Mils. Building this set reminded me that some of the pieces have faded (no sand green ones) and I have a note to buy replacement pieces after Covid. That was a LOOOOONG time ago The rest of the minis are sleeping in the hotel, per my toddler. Yay LEGO!1 point

None of my minifigures/minidolls have hair. 4 year old always removes them.1 point

Rebuilt this from scratch on a mils setup. My 2 year old was surprisingly very helpful, except for his idea of stacking the lightposts together (plus three lamps I made for the interior). One down and 15 modulars to go... Yay LEGO!1 point

This came in the mail today, just in time for our stay at a hotel to avoid the heat. My son built this in our room. I thought it was a great set when I first saw it and it is even better at 40% off. Yay LEGO!1 point
