I built the Chinese Lantern Festival using mils but really, I drove around the city looking for this porch greeter. I then ran to storage to grab my ecto-1 and GBHQ so that Spengler and Co. can go atop the hotel at Central Park west. Festival is nice, but the sidewalk is too narrow and you can't walk around the bench or lampposts. My poor citizens have to walk into traffic... Or marshmallow men11 points

Amazon gave me a 96 hour hall pass to list Lego brand products, so I added a few exclusives that weren't in the catalog. If you have any that you want posted, PM them to me and I'll see what I can do. Include the UPC, please.6 points

So, when I played softball, old guys would routinely use Tiger Balm pain relieving ointment. Smelled so strong. Made fun of it. Went backpacking recently. Painful. Bought some when I got back home. Wish I brought that stuff with me. AMAZING.3 points

Getting old. Yesterday I played my 1st flag football game in 6 years. I had been getting the itch again so I let the guys know I'd be willing to come back part time to give someone a break here and there. Well, half the guys didn't show for week 1 and I was forced to play iron man 7v7. I was happy I held my own against kids more than half my age but now I'm loaded up on advil and can barely move. Sucks getting old. Plus we lost 42-20.2 points

Got my box from Minifigures+ today. I did not get 3 full sets. 3 - Scarlet Witch 3 - Vision 3 - Monica 3 - Bucky 3 - Falcon 5 - Loki 1 - Sylvie 3 - Spidey 3 - Cap 3 - Carter 3 - T'Challa 3 - Gamora I mean, I'm irritated, but I also fully expect 2 of the Loki's to change when I'm not looking at them.2 points

The requirement is for $10,000 or more sales per month not per year. For those sellers who make most of their annual sales in Oct/Nov/Dec this limit can be easily exceeded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I keep a stash of presents for both children, young adults and old adults. When I find something on sell that is a possible gift, I buy it. Come Christmas, I'll dig in and find gifts for my daughter, granddaughter, 80 year old mother and father and girlfriend. I might not even have to buy a present (but I usually do.) Same with cards. I can send out a birthday or Christmas card at a moment's notice. I'm kinda weird about Christmas shopping. I usually have all my presents to give by October 1st. I hate crowds and this works for me. My daughter is getting Airpods Plus that I bought on sale for $128 for this Christmas. That sure beats today's price.1 point

It could very likely be from backups in shipping. If there are cargo containers stacked up waiting to be unloaded as we are hearing then these sets could go in and out of stock, back and forth for months or years.1 point

Bought a used lot on OfferUp, for $100. It had a pic showing about 5 arctic expedition sets, a pic showing 4-5 friends sets, a pic of minecraft crafting box 1.0, and then this pic of Star Wars sets. He ended up having every minifigure for every set in a separate box including the Queen Amidala. Just started going through the Star Wars stuff tonight, Gungan sub was only missing JarJar's harpoon gun and the blue anchor. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk1 point

Here is a quick backstory to that I had built my Jeep to handle moderate trails and tires was the last piece of that. I probably looked at every aggressive tire made and asked my wife what she thought for each model. Eventually she breaks and says "I don't care, they all look the same to me, stop showing them to me." Ever since then when one of us is tired of discussing a subject we politely inform the other that "this is becoming a tires conversation" and that's the signal to move on.1 point

Can some of you let me know if this link is accessible? I've opened a case with the idiots at seller central and they say it can be opened. Just needing to know how many people can successfully open this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KHZ7146 Or, if you're hesitant to open a link, just search for ASIN B08KHZ7146. I appreciate it.1 point

I shoulda gotten the Moderna vax instead https://news.yahoo.com/pfizer-picked-covid-19-vaccine-125332549.html Moderna has 3x more mRNA dose than Pfizer (Now they tell us) I appreciate the actual info, and I believe this is inline w/ breakthru cases being most likely Pfizer.1 point

unwelcome scenario: Lego slowly increases reissues (clearly trending that way). Window for flipping still exists but shortens. Bloggers/AFOL's pay more attention to trend and internalize new reality of sets being reissued. Then mass public becomes aware. Slowly, the urge to purchase retired sets is disincentivized as ppl figure they can wait for a possible reissue. Much of the lure of retired sets in the desire to obtain the unobtainable. Not saying demand will disappear, to be clear not saying its game over. Just outlining a scenario where demand for retired sets incrementally decreases. And of course on the supply side, more resellers than ever means an increased supply.0 points

Actual complaint after a nostalgic 10 hour movie marathon: 98% of the movies made after 2010 are trash. I swear everything just becomes worse & worse as time goes by.0 points
