Remake of the iconic 76023 - The Tumbler by the same LEGO designer (Adam Grabowski) who created the previous version from 2014. His explanation about this set on Brickset: It was decided to re-release the LEGO Tumbler, and since I made the 2014 one, I was asked to do it again. Initially it was supposed to be a simple reissue, but I was allowed to change some things that annoyed me for the past 7 years, but only if I would fit it in within a pretty tight schedule (since it was supposed to be a simple reissue, the timeplan wasn’t laid out like it would be for a kit this size). I started with the rear end, in the first version it was way to narrow, and the tractor tyres (which I already keep on getting messages about how they are wrong, but in my opinion look similar enough to boggers that are on the real thing) didn’t exist either, then I pinched the front end to bring the wheels closer together, which led to a complete redesign of the first third of the model, at this point I managed to add the gunners window in the middle, and some suspension details I didn’t even know existed when I was building the first one (thank you @jaylenosgarage for the crystal clear footage during the day). The rest remained mostly untouched, except for swapping bricks for new versions (like 2x6 tiles instead of 2 times 1x6 tiles), or for more correct colors (like smoke windows), but then, I was quite happy with it in 2014, and I saw no reason to reinvent it from scratch. This does come at a price hike. While the 76023 was $199.99 / €199,99, the new Tumbler comes at $229.99 / €229,99.3 points

I had an issue with SAH home last year (do t even remember what it was) but I got a lovely British woman on phone working from home. She was great! Resolved my minor problem then then gave me a few options of alternate GWPs. I had all of them already I told her (just being honest). So she said “I’ll surprise you”. Fair enough I told her. Then she surprised me with a free gladiator carriage. I think they accidentally shorted me a GWP hence the call but can’t really remember. I just remember how pleasant the older woman was on the phone. And the British accent was just icing on the cake. All customer service people should have British (or Australian) accents.3 points

That's all I needed to see to know that there will be plenty more old retired sets being re-released, and that hold times are now just a game of Russian roulette. How many years can you hold before blowing your profits away?2 points

This has been an ongoing discussion…Walmart definitely needs to fire a developer or two for this abomination of an update. What finally worked for me (after multiple attempts), was deleting the app from my iPhone, restarting said phone, and then re-installing the app. For awhile, I had to do this every single time I entered a different Walmart, but now, the older version seems to be sticking around on my phone (also, turn off automatic app updates or the whole process starts over again…) Good luck!2 points

Five beauties from Zavvi. I've actually had really good luck with them. I got five ocean explorer ships yesterday in the same shape. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk2 points

The Target app used to be AWESOME and save you from having to find the working scanner nearby. You could quickly find the unmarked in-store clearance. But people complained that it was showing the in-store price and not the online price which was possibly lower (notably it wasn't impossible to see the online price, just trickier?). So they nerfed it because people are dumb and thought Target was trying to scam them.1 point

I never created any lists on the WM app, so I've found that not logging in has allowed me to continue using the older version. I know I fiddled with it a bunch until I found a workaround…what I described in my earlier post is what worked for my iPhone 12/iOS 14.7.1. And as far as the Target app goes, I don't even bother using that for price checks, since it just seems to give the online price. At least the Target in store scanners generally work!1 point

I've had to redownload the app a bunch of times now. It seems that once I log in and close out of the app it will update me to the new version. Even if I have updates turned off. (iOS) So now I have to leave myself logged out. Will keep trying different things and see if I can get logged in and access my lists. It is bad... really bad. Similar topic: is there any way to get the Target app to show in store price (even in store)? I don't get to Target too often but I hate having to trek back and forth to the self scanner to get prices.1 point

I was incredibly frustrated by this most of the summer…especially when it caused me to miss out on some epic deals. Like others have mentioned, WM spit this update out just as they phased out in store scanners at most of my nearby locations. If you're looking for some entertaining reading, go to the App Store, and click on most recent reviews…there are some brutally hilarious descriptions. One of may faves is, "My toddler could have s**t out a more functional update than your genius developers." (And yet, they keep trying to polish this turd with "stability fixes" every few days…which apparently only makes things worse. I was lucky to latch on to an older version, and I'll never update the WM app again!)1 point

I think I saw your frustration in July and panicked and quickly turned off automatic updates, with the last update for my android app being in June. In a store last week it wasn't RECOGNIZING some Lego UPCs for some reason, which was frustrating. I downloaded the beta app thinking ok maybe the old app is finally broken, and WOW is that hot garbage but it also wasn't recognizing the UPCs. Holy cow that is a bad update, though. How is that put out by a 400 billion dollar retailer?1 point

I think regardless of what Seller Central tells you, it might take two days (hopefully not business days) to reactivate the account. Did you verify your seller address back in May/June when they sent out the dumb verification notices in the mail?1 point

your post basically confirms there will be a restock within 60 days??? there were 6 month stints when treehouse could not be gotten for<1.5x RRP...I don;t see how this is significantly different1 point

perhaps they are seeing the other nutcracker 40254. The ASIN you referenced comes up in the Add a product page, but clicking on that link (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KHZ7146) results in the error page..1 point

Actual complaint after a nostalgic 10 hour movie marathon: 98% of the movies made after 2010 are trash. I swear everything just becomes worse & worse as time goes by.1 point

My friend spotted them yesterday unmarked on the shelf and they scanned for $35 each. I went today to pick them up. Its a madhouse as you can imaginr as its the only Target in New Orleans right now with power. Today I scanned them and they wouldnt scan. The area manager said they werent supposed to be out as they were getting salvaged because they havent sold. She took them from me and placed them in a cart. When she left I grabbed them and took them to a different manager who not only sold them to me but took more off.....but no were not marked.1 point

Why make it limited though? I mean, I'm not complaining as a reseller, but still. That looks way better than bright light yellow.1 point

Finally sat down to list items on Amazon FBA again, after having started and stopped several times the last few weeks due to my ongoing family situation, only to find I need to reconfirm my credit card, my drivers license, bank statement just to reactivate my seller account ("due to inactivity"). Takes 2 business days. Sigh. Hope my LEGO selling status stays untouched ... fingers crossed. UPDATE: Just received the following email: Dear Seller, Thanks for creating a Selling on Amazon account! We have completed verifying your identity. As next steps, please log into your Seller Central account to activate your account and check if any further action is needed. Thank you for choosing to sell on Amazon and we’re here to help you succeed every step of the way. Sincerely, The Selling on Amazon team However, I am still unable to add products as it says I need to reactivate my account, but when I click that it keeps asking me to change my charge method (which I have done several times in the last 15 mins to no avail). Anyone any tips?0 points
