How'd you manage that? I thought their coupons excluded LEGO unless they were for specific sets...1 point

My first kidney stone was back in 2015, it would not pass on it's own, had surgery to break it up and passing the few remaining fragments was awful. Thank God for the morphine I was given at the emergency room for the writhing pain when it got too bad to tolerate at home. My diet contains citric acid from Crystal ight lemonade that will hopefully prevent kidney stones from forming. My doctor recommended it.1 point

The forge arrived earlier this week and it was a quick and easy build. Mando is the same version as in Gideon's cruiser but instead of a cape, he has a jet pack. Includes his rifle and a pistol. Paz Vizsla is built like a tank with is multi-barreled cannon and brick built pack. He also has those shoulder pads that Wrecker used, Posing is a problem if not stuck to a brick or plate. The Armorer looks nice and has plenty of tools and weapon options within the set. I have mixed feelings on the small playsets. Sometimes they are great others seem lacking. This set captures the elements of the forge scenes and when the forge is connected to the entry way, it's a tight fit with little space to stand figs on the set so they don't fall over. It has some nice pay features to include a tool cabinet with hidden storage for a pistol and small disks that could be mines or explosives. The forge has spots along the side to mount weapons or tools. The random broom is included by that spot also works for Mando's rifle. There are some misc brick built power tools along the wall to include maybe a press or drill. My only really complain are the stickers for the curved pieces; It takes me several attempts to get them to be someone evenly spaced. Currently My Mando shelf is to cramped to display the forge so I have to redo the space in the IKEA glass cabinet shelf.1 point

Very sorry to hear and I hope you have a healthy recovery. I was dumb and outran a runner when I was playing first base a few years ago. I didn't touch the inside of the bag, I tried to run through the bag and we both collided at full steam. I had a concussion for a couple weeks, but had a full recovery. I also had a softball size bruise on my thigh I was worried that might cause a blood clot. Listen to your doctors and I hope therapy helps you get back to feeling like yourself.1 point

Haha. Reminds me of when I was showing a unit to a tenant and they parked their car head first into a parallel parking spot (so, perpendicular to the way it should have been). It was a small car, so it didn't stick out much, but still...1 point

Flipping LEGO is one thing. Flipping brand-new cars is a whole different ball game. My wife would file for divorce.1 point

It's on for pre order now and says it's releasing 30th November. Goodbye any chance of this doing well. Considering that was meant to be the end date Lego have probably already decided to release this then to everyone. Returns anyone lol?0 points

Bad float needle on 15 yo riding mower caused the carb to fail and flood the intake and oil casing with gas. Cheap replacement and easy fix but man what mess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 points

I admit I am one on of the less vocal and less overall posters in this community lately, and there is a valid reason for that besides not wanting to engage in political and religious discussions. On Friday, August 6 of this year I sustained a concussion while attempting to make a catch while playing softball, at least my second concussion. I have no real recollection of my forehead hitting the ground besides what my teammates told me and the mild neck discomfort/pain I immediately experienced. This one is different though because I am not getting better. My diagnosis is post-concussion syndrome since my symptoms have lingered and I am past the traditional bell curve for recovery. For the past month I feel about the same, no worse or better, and I had an appointment with my concussion specialist this past Tuesday. I begin treatment on my neck soon and I go back to the concussion specialist in a month. She did give me medication to take at bedtime to help me sleep and hopefully ease the headaches. I am not experiencing blinding headaches and that is a blessing. Here is my best attempt to describe my symptoms and no one can tell me when I will recover yet. My head fills like when one has a head cold or one’s sinuses are blocked all the time and the headaches are mild, but persistent. I take short rest breaks throughout the workday (busy periods make my symptoms worse), and I take at last one nap after work. This is the fatigue part, and I would like to sleep even more. Occasionally I get lightheaded. My goal is to be there/functional for my family and friends, and to take walks every day. Getting back on my mountain bike and playing sports again is not nearly as important and seems inconsequential at this point. I share my story, not for sympathy, empathy, etc. but for awareness for others. Physical injuries are hard enough. Mental/brain injuries may be even harder. I am not comparing one to other. We all have all crosses to bear as it were. I appreciate the many members who have shared their stories too, like ravenb99 and Phil B. My worst episode was counting and sorting Lego pieces about two weeks ago for the Lego Midi-Scale Millennium Falcon I bought off eBay. I began feeling very dizzy and nauseous, my wife helped me finished and I was better after lying down for two hours.0 points
