For the above that ranges from about $960 for the SF and $800 for empire state buildings to as low as 240 for JAguars. Clearly in terms of space, SF is a winner. Jaguar sets take up 4x the space which is crazy. Once I view things this way its hard to go back, with storage space being so valuable.

Revamped my entire storage setup. Until now my garage (main storage) was a mishmash of walmart, target, amazon and other boxes, mostly gotten for free, but with varying stacking capabilities. With space at a premium, I looked into some options and decided that the home depot medium size heavy duty ($2.65 each) boxes were my best bet as they neatly fit a large amount of sets and safely stacked at least 3 high. Also labeled everything on all 4 sides so as to easily find them when needed. Tremendous amount of work but things are pretty organized for now. Except when Im going to need to reach the far corner in the back...not going to be fun.

Spent the day offshore, tuna for dinner tonight. Catch bait, rig up, send it down & troll away until you get hit. Bonito bait fish are 12-16 inches, so you imagine the size of the targeted fish. Hook one & your workout is done for the day. Exhausting & addictive. If you ever get the opportunity to book an offshore trip, do it, it's an amazing experience. Especially if you never went fishing before. You'll finally know how that sushi you eat is being caught & handled before it gets on your plate.

To me this is the real benefit of Q4 - Clearing out the large sellers so that the coming year the price can rise further. It's the few whales with thousands maybe 10k units of sets that really hold back the appreciation. For them its a numbers game, lower profit but huge volume. They prefer to sell at lower prices and keep the sales volume up. It really takes the holiday season to get them out of the way. Could be wrong here but thats my speculation.

once in a blue moon Costco has the Peets "Big Bang" medium roast. I usually get like 6 bags (even a bit older coffee of BB still waaay better than anything else at Costco)...IMO ofcourse

They were selling these for $3 a bag at my Costco last week! I passed because I'm a medium roast whole bean guy - but I picked up a couple two pound bags of Honduran Whole Bean from a Michigan roaster they were clearing out for $5 each.

Something about that name just puts me off...maybe I think of dirt? Been drinking Cafe Bustelo without any variation for several months...need to mix it up. Time to try it!

I can answer this one. EASILY thousand+. He/She/They have dominated the chicken coop/ zombie cave/ beetle listings since last december. and these sell hundreds each month. im sure cladner can speak for other listings, these are just what i noticed.

PFT is an aggressive pricer/undercutter with deep stock. they routinely undercut the lowest price on many sets, one i am usually paying attention to is the nebulon b listing by $20 (set moves easily for $139 but then along comes pft pricing at $119 - no in between there. $139 -> 119. just wait til they run out of stock and the price snaps up. then they come back and price $20 less. this seems par for their course. then you get StJohns taking the bait or just plain not having it with PFT's aggressive repricing - hence the penny undercut coup de gras. glad i dumped all of my red t1 stock when they hit $240-250 during April 2020 lockdown.

Wife and I forced ourselves to watch suicide squad last night. As mentioned by others, it's stupid, gory, dumb and fun. It's just entertainment. No reason to read more into it. I enjoyed it. I thought it was the best dceu movie so far. I know, that isn't saying much...

I agree. I thought it was stupid fun and that made it great. John Cena was great, so was Stallone as the voice of the shark. Suicide Squad is basically keeping DC alive at this point. A father drove 5+ hours to me to buy a 10188 Death Star for $500 for his soon to be 7 year old son. I threw in 30278 POE X-Wing poly and a 30275 TIE Advanced Prototype poly with it. What a dad! Kid's going to be psyched.

I find it kind of annoying that lego does mostly facades now instead of a full building that can swivel open or layers taken off on top. The black box is super easy to crease, not a big fan of that. Only thing worse are the speed champions boxes, they are super flimsy!

This one has me confused. Guy was selling 4 Medieval Blacksmith for $115 each with free shipping . I messaged him and asked any discount if I buy all 4 since he would save on shipping and I am close by. He replies promptly, no because he can easily sell them at this price and he can only ship 2 per box so he would have no savings. Around 250 feedback with recent sales all positive except for a pair of shoes that didn’t fit. So, I buy 2 and pay with PayPal and they don’t ship no tracking uploaded. I go to check his feedback and see he no longer has any active listings. Open a case with eBay and get a full refund the same day before I can even check the case status. So figured hacked account. Then yesterday I get an email from UPS that I have a package coming from “the UPS store” no further details. Today it arrives and has the senders name and address are on the label but it is only 1 set and I paid for 2. I check the seals and they look to clearly be tampered with, so I weigh the set and it is 80 grams heavier then my others. So now I am expecting that it was opened and swapped out with fake lego or the Minifigures were pulled and replaced with something a little heavier. I open the set and it is lego and all 14 bags are there with the Minifigures. The reason it was heavier (see picture) was the instructions were sealed in a box not a bag like the one I just built. Not sure why he didn’t just sell me all 4 if he was planning to scam and still not sure why he still sent 1 set with pricey shipping. I can’t recall getting instructions in a flat box like that only sails.

Ordered a piece that I needed on Bricklink - it was only available international, so I purchased enough other items from the seller to make it worthwhile. They send me the wrong piece - This happens way too often.
