  1. My son ate half before we got inside. You know he likes his food when he’s om nom nom’ing loudly.🤗
  2. So after 10 months my Target account has been unbanned. I placed a trial order every month and insta-cancelled each time. Cancellation orders even came before the order confirmations. But today my first order shipped. Gonna take it easy with them. I did reach out to CS a month ago and apologized and asked them to reinstate me and the rep said she would email the ban team for me, but im thinking its unrelated. Happened to me once before so i think it just resets after a while. TLDR: Try making orders if youre currently banned at target.

  4. 1. The fault was on the interviewer who did not ask the CEO to clarify the side effects or provide percentage of cases with side effects. 2. The neck thing is not a deepfake. Go to NBC and see from the source. His neck is unusual but lets keep the conversation on earthly realm. 3. Is he up to no good? Heck, he is a CEO of billion dollars company. If he is any good, he already planned his next 3 moves by the time interview began. And yes, I never trust ELon Musk for the same reason 4. Is it possible that the interview is just some "puff" piece / softball interview designed to stealthily inform the mass on the approval of the vaccine ? Most likely. Why? See #1 above. Interviewer did not ask any "hard" question. What I am curious about (ie. How to interview 101): 1. A list of vaccine side effects which CEO deemed "very serious but very rare" 2. Why CEO did not provide any percentage of cases with side effects. A very tiny percentage would actually help convince people who doubt the safety of the vaccine
  5. Used to live in Spokane. It's a great town with so much to do outdoors. The Gorge is an awesome place to see a show. I remember seeing Dave Matthews Band play there and a huge refueler plane flew right down the valley and tipped its wings at the crowd. So cool.
  6. Heading out soon to Logan airport to fly to Spokane, WA. Going to see Phish at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Fri, Sat and Sunday.
  7. I’m fortunate that I’m 100% telework now, and can pretty much live anywhere in the US. We have friends in Georgia and North Carolina, so those are high on the list. Maybe it’s a bit of grass is always greener, but we’ve outgrown our house here, need to move mother-in-law in with us. We have a backyard that’s 12 feet by 18 feet. Standard SoCal home. Just seeing what I could buy is amazing. Acres of property. Swimming pool. Chicken coops and stables if I were so inclined. All with a MIL sweet, super upgraded home. American dream that just can’t be realized in SoCal anymore.
  8. Does selling your old house/buying a new house count as a home improvement? I am seriously looking at cashing out of California, and moving back east, where I can get so much more home.
  9. Alright let's continue to lighten the mood around here. @ 38 seconds. Deep fake or lizard man? You be the judge.
  10. Our house was built on a ledge/slope so the other half of the basement has the more common 20'x24' small windows. not exact but similar.
  11. Either you don't understand the significance of what a lack of ICU beds means or you're one of the "what's a couple hundred more deaths matter?" kind of guy. Either way, gross. This.....this is not how healthcare works. Even if it did you are suggesting a far more expensive and less effective solution when the issue could be better mitigated by more people getting a $20 shot.
  12. If you imagined it would be basically no different than your life now, in a large majority of places, you would be correct. As much as some would like you to believe, you have to actually search out racist rednecks in the midwest.
  13. no it can be a really big deal depending on your personality. it's not like any overt racism...and everyone we ever met were cordial and friendly...but after awhile, every office, every restaurant, or bus...heads turn as a constant reminder that we don't fully fit in.
  14. Glad that it didn't impact you that bad. A couple of my friends had it too and they experienced what you did. Sadly, some family members and friends of BP'ers here weren't as lucky.
  15. These guys always covered their nose in the pool.
  16. Love the argument that “we are all part of a big trial”. Have the people who say that not been using cellphones, stayed away from wifi etc? That is a multi-decade live experiment in what happens to human brains and bodies when exposed to electromagnetic waves. Remember, it took decades to prove that asbestos caused lung cancer.
  17. 1. "Rare"... he doesn't know that. He assumes it is or wants to believe it for the company's sake. No proof, as we don't have any studies on long term effects or did somebody from Pfizer invent a time machine & skip to 2027? If so, they're genius, let me get that juice right away. How many months was that? This is a live experiment & we are the viewers. You can't deny this. It's not a safe flu shot. Not yet. I'm not assuming these individuals are evil per se, not at all, but I'm a sceptic capable of critical thinking. And if I think of how bad this world is & how bad it f**ked over 98% of the population & how the f**kers now offer the f**ked $100 to get a vaccine as soon as possible I might think twice about getting it. 2. Easy, he doesn't know. Nobody knows. This vaccine thing is so complicated & it divides the people. There is no need for that, instead of attacking each other & holding onto dogmata, we should approach this with LOGIC & actual SCIENCE. Because there is a few things we already know about these vaccines, from studies & from the companies themselves: 1. It doesn't stop the spread of the virus, you're just as dangerous to your environment as an unvaccinated person. 2. It protects YOU, not your neighbor or your dog, so it's a self-protective measure. Taking these 2 simple statements into consideration, there is only one logical way to handle this situation: Those who want to protect themselves & trust a handful of scientists mixing something in a lab should get it. And no one should stop them from getting it, that's their right to protect themselves. Those who don't trust this or need some more time to make a decision should not get it. It shouldn't be your concern as a vaccinated person. You're safe, he's not. At least that's the narrative. So let people do whatever they want, it's their own body, it's not like forcing them to pick a football team to cheer for, this is a serious medical & private matter. So let's treat it that way.
  18. I lived in the midwest for about 3 years. Just saying...ALWAYS being the minority in the room sucks big time. Ultimately that (and the lack of food choices) were the main reasons we opted to move back to Cali.
  19. Granted, this was 20 years ago but my wife and I always ate at Europa for Italian. It's still there!
  20. I can smell their ribs smoking every morning. The Gas station is less than a 1/4 mile from my backyard. Sometimes it smells good, sometimes...not.
  21. Thanks, will do. I'll look out for Wilson and that guy Fee.
  22. C'mon, Shawnee is up there as well as Lenexa! JoCo, baby!
  23. Overland Park, Blue Springs, Liberty area are all fantastic and relatively inexpensive
  24. Wait...so you actually believe he's not an android-alien hybrid?
  25. yes - mine is now unbanned as well - instacancel earlier this week. for the record, i did not apologize to target.

  27. This scene always reminds me of this Legend.
  28. I hear ya brother. I’ve been looking at Idaho & AZ. Used to think about Texas but I don’t think I could handle the humidity.

  32. Are you sure that’s what’s going on in that club? https://www.wikihow.com/Play-Sardines
  33. There is a Sardine Club at work a coworker is always wanting me to join. They all bring their own tin, share (PreCovid of course) then vote on the best one. NOT a sardine guy ✌️😂
  34. Rejoice!! (Or Boo!!.. depending on your stances*) They did not go through with the bans. Also, Mastercard released statement they did not put any pressure on OF. https://www.npr.org/2021/08/25/1030949680/onlyfans-explicit-content-pornography-sex-workers-reverses-ban *Rate my efforts to be more inclusive
  35. Ummm, yeah….we’re all going to need that buyer’s ID so we can add it to our blocked buyer list, mmmmkay? Please PM if you’re not comfortable posting it in the forum. That’s crazy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  38. Its a walkout basement, so the windows and double doors lead into the yard.
  39. That's putting it mildly.
  40. It is the same as the folks who are afraid of big government tracking their everything then being fans of the power of the free market, which created privacy-violating monsters like Google and Facebook. Sent from my LG-TP450 using Tapatalk
  41. Visited some museums and battlefields in Normandy on a road trip with my son. I was based in Bayeux one of the first towns liberated by the Allies. Here are the places I visited in 1.5 days. Sainte-Mère-Église, Airborne Museum, Memorials dedicated to East Company near Brecourt Manor, D-day experience museum, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach Memorial. On day 2, American Normandy Cemetery, Overlord Museum, Pegasus Bridge and Memorial, Merville Battery. The museums I visited were all excellent and I wasn't disappointed. I only wish I had more time to spare.
  42. I guess you didn’t see this then (attempting to keep post to 1 sentence)
  43. Yes! I went picking a few weeks ago with my family in West Michigan.
