Started my new job today. It takes me into San Diego now, which means I’m only 5 minutes away from a LEGO store now. Luckily, it’s telework so I only go in a couple times a month (to work that is) So of course I stopped after work. Unfortunately they only had two of the four new Brickheadz. Shucky darn - I’ll have to go back.5 points

Amelia Earhart Plane 40450 in Rewards Center for 1500 points. Not saying it's worth it but it's there3 points

This is an impressive set and should help Hedwig 75979. While the UCS SW sets seem to lag a bit in value, the equivalent playsets seem to increase in value nicely. Hopefully, this will do the same.3 points

Time for another crackpot theory from yours truly. I have no idea how Amzn actually works, this is just based on my own experience and observing stories on this thread. It looks like Amazon send out the doc requests in batches of ASINs. Each batch has its own document due date and the requests are sent to some (not all) sellers for each ASIN. The thing is, the seller who gets the request may not have any inventory and may choose to ignore the request. If a due date has passed and no document is submitted, bots shut down the ASIN for everyone (including Amazon). They will check again on the due date of the next batch, if other sellers in that batch actually submit a document, then the bot reactivate ASIN, otherwise ASIN is dead. Here is an example: say you, I, and 8 other sellers have ASIN X in our inventory. Amzn send request to me (batch A) with due date of 7/15 and a few weeks later send another request to you (batch B ) with a due date of 7/31. Say I actually do not have any inventory and decide to ignore the request. The bot checks on my due date (7/15) and sees no document has been submitted and shut down the ASIN X. You see the ASIN is gone and decide to submit some documents on 7/20. On your due date (7/31), the bot checks and sees a document for ASIN X and re-activate the ASIN. This explains how sometimes ASIN just magically re-appear. If for whatever reason both of us do not submit any document, then the bot will just shut down the ASIN even though there are still 8 other sellers on it. If Redcell is one of the 8, he would just notice the ASIN is gone without any explanation. Thoughts?2 points

I'm not a fan of the PT trilogy, so have no desire to buy this ship. However, they were constructing it at my LEGO Store yesterday. Wow. I'm impressed! I won't be buying it, but it was pretty impressive to see in person.2 points

I’ve cleared that up with CS via chat or a quick phone call. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Good luck! I guess they mandated masks when working in the building again for all Gov’t. I’m on vacation, but still plan on going in a couple days a week, since I can work behind a closed door with the mask off.2 points

It is WAY too easy to accidentally redeem a boatload of Lego VIP points for an in-store or phone order instead of an online voucher. So dumb.2 points

I do not see any crank and the new one seems to have limited poses (or even just 1 pose) New territory for HP. I guess it depends on timing.2 points

76391 Hogwarts Icons - Collectors Edition, 18+ (3,010 parts) just leaked on Instagram. It looks legit (if not someone's spent a lot of time faking it!); Hedwig looks stunning!2 points

Not sure why they did not do it earlier. It is an easy way to create additional profit from the initial R&D costs. Or maybe they just realize creativity is overrated and that most of the adults just want the same model with different colors.2 points

Saturday after midnight, my wife's water broke. Sunday morning at 244 AM, she delivered a healthy baby girl. Monday evening, I had a wonderful delicious steak dinner made by the hospital to celebrate. So yeah, super eventful. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk2 points

I've never seen an example of the safety document problem being different for each seller. These have nothing to do with your metrics and are done at an ASIN level. If one person shows an ASIN needing documentation on their account health document screen, then I believe everyone does. Might be different for each country platform since I think Yannick indicated the .EU platform. Unless you are going to let the item sit at Amazon for months, I wouldn't worry about it. Usually you can sell out of the item before they pull the listing or someone else gets the listings fixed with documentation.1 point

Hopefully not since it doesn't flap its wings....hopefully. Those three golden minifigures are going to be a big draw to the set.1 point

Interesting, could be a good thing for investors as a completionist would need 1 of each color. Could provide a post EOL bump otherwise not realized. I could see them doing this more in the future. I mean, the only thing keeping me from getting the 911 is white...1 point

I tend to be the one who saw the infighting in a leaking ship and jumped out before ship was sinking. BUT in hindsight, I should have been the guy selling duct tape to patch the leaking ship and keep it afloat for as long as possible and charged tons of money for it.1 point

Yes, it's paid time off. It varies in the US. Some companies give 3 or 4 weeks. Some give 2 and some give "unlimited". That being said, I had more than 1 days available, but I just didn't take them. It was a poor decision lol.1 point

Maybe it's just me, but I am unable to pre-order sets like Fawkes or Wizard's Chess. Convenient... As I was waiting for this day to get the gold coin with one of these. Lego CS picked up on the phone in one minute (shocker) but she didn't really know what was going on. She guessed that the pre-orders sold out and told me oh look it's coming out on June 1st. I took the opportunity to ask if there were any promotions accompanying the Harry Potter releases. She laughed and said she's not at liberty to say but it's likely.1 point
