  1. Just had this delightful brace of messages: I am choosing to expend the effort I would have wasted in replying by posting them here instead.

  3. Anyone in the PA area, this seems like a great score! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/561943531581699/?ref=search&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Acb197ade-3e8a-4fee-8939-480d3f358815 Posted about an hour ago this time

  4. When I need to inventory the bags in a set I go to YouTube and look for an unboxing video. Hopefully, this will help.

  5. Also you don’t have to settle for arbitration now , you can take Amazon to court per the new TOS

  6. I did send one appeal in citing the out of print policy but haven’t heard back . Not much can be done at this point . I closed all listings after the second warning so 🤷🏽‍♂️

  9. My reply to return would be along these lines ; please accept our apology for this issue . We kindly ask that you return everything inside a shipping box along with all stickers sheets , instruction manuals and minifigures ( if applicable ). A refund will be issued once the item is returned per Amazon’s policies . ( do not mention full refund ). once returned inspect set . If valuable pieces and items ( mentioned above ) are missing or BLepin/ rocks are inside then you can withhold up to 50% or file a Safe-T claim if you so choose . It is a bit tricky with missing pieces as return reason since the seller- per amazon - is at fault . But a blatant scam will strengthen your case . also a chance the buyer is looking for an argument without having any intention of returning the item hoping to keep it for free .

  10. It's just not as stable as the 2013 release. My son plays with both, but I've repaired the 2008 release many more times.

  11. Here is a good write up: https://jaysbrickblog.com/reviews/review-lego-75309-ucs-republic-gunship/ Summary: What I liked: A hugely ambitious Prequel model that’s absolutely massive in scale Colour scheme is really attractive – it’s not grey! The Republic Gunship’s armaments and weapons on full display Incredible huge wingspan LEGO finally gives some love to the prequels What I didn’t like: Incredibly hard to display Could’ve used Jedi Bob, as a secret bonus Doors don’t close which is a wasted opportunity Greebling isn’t fantastic It feels less like a UCS set, and more like an upsized playset

  12. 🤷LEGO keeps changing what’s considered a UCS set. A $200-250 Gunship loaded with clones and a few exclusives would have ticked a lot of boxes for fans. This set just doesn’t do it for me.

  13. But then it wouldn't be a UCS set.

  14. Drove about 2000 miles for vacation. The most exciting part was finding Costcos so I could fill up for 25 cents less per gallon than everybody else

  17. I'm not a mass purchaser but have ordered multiple orders over the years to get multiple orders of certain promo sets that I really liked. Never had any issue, as long as you don't reach the order limit of certain sets, then you should be fine. Most I've done in a day is 5 or 6. But others may have a different opinion.

  18. A trick I've noticed that worked 4 times in the past 24 hrs. Came across this because of my pure laziness and not wanting to create so many ads and upload so many photos. So I've found posting 1 ad of 4 like sets in same theme or dollar amount rather than a separate ad for each listing is working wonders!!! 'These four sets, $20 ea. or all Minecraft, but $25,$30,$35,&$40. Once the interests start to trickle in, I wait until someone wants all 4 (which has been a 15 min wait) and have been firm on price no bundle offers accepted sorry Frankie Fritz demand is too high ;^) Maybe even throw in a free poly if easy transaction and nice buyer. That way I am not making 4 $20 transaction. One meet, 90 bucks. done. Not bad for $20 buy in with no fees. I agree, filtering out the crazies takes some practice/patience, but its not too bad. Becoming quite fluent in temperament analysis. Just need to ignore some and move on. But those Moms/Grandmas/even Grandpas are feeling the crunch and don't want to go into a store. Anything for the kiddos! This snip-it might be a no brainer for most, but figured it was worth a share even if one person is able to boost their listings/sales.

  19. Had my first fruitcake. -Buyer sends derogatory messages with pictures claiming I sent them the wrong item. Pictures include the mailer for the wrong items. The mailer has a totally different return address than what mine is (Different provinces). -I inform the buyer of this. -They apologize. (Sweet, crises averted) -They then send a message a few hours later claiming to have called the RCMP about cyber crime, blah, blah, blah. Included in this message is a google street view picture of the house from the above return address. They call it ugly. I'd be hurt if it was actually my house or cared what they thought. -They leave negative feedback talking about garbage and saying they got a refund. (They hadn't gotten a refund or even initiated a case for the order) -I request a feedback revision as this is clearly feedback for a different seller (which they also left negative feedback for). Revision denied. -At this point I'm like "Ok, whatever I'll just take the negative and move on" -26 days later. Buyer requests a refund for item not delivered.(But you claimed you already received it and were refunded, make up your mind already). In the comments section they say they contacted me multiple times about not having received the item (no you didn't, quit lying already) -Issued the $33 refund and reported the buyer. At least it wasn't $100's or $1,000's like some of you guys have lost.
