  1. Just had this delightful brace of messages: I am choosing to expend the effort I would have wasted in replying by posting them here instead.

  3. 7942 Off-Road Fire Rescue (2007) Seven year run at least. 7741 Police Helicopter (2008) "Retired" around same time as above set. 7236 Police Car (2005), returned as 7236-2 Police Car (2008) Latter release was around for a while though uncertain on actual availability of either, more an oddity. I remember these City sets fondly mainly from some of the very first topics we had on this site back in 2012 - 2014. And these are accounting online availability through LEGO Shop-at-Home up to that point. I imagine actual production stopped long before official retirement but still these sets had a shelf life almost akin to the first Death Star.

  4. Drove about 2000 miles for vacation. The most exciting part was finding Costcos so I could fill up for 25 cents less per gallon than everybody else

  8. for the train itself is definitely not worth it imho to get the multi park passes i went on it both ways and took very little out of it there are just the scenes flashing by the windows ( not real scenes that are built but the windows are like a movie screen ) honestly you can go to youtube for that of course if you only have one day and it's not peak time and you want to experience as many rides as possible that might change the calculation

  9. For FedEx I am unsure, but USPS was scammed so heavily during Covid last summer that the process is pretty simple to verify evidence that you shipped something vs. nothing. Contact your local post office’s post master and explain what is going on. Ask them for a copy of the Intranet Tracking Report showing what the item weighed each time that it was scanned at each location. In addition you can request a copy of Postal Form 3811-a if the buyer claims wrong address or miss delivery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Size and weight should matter if you document them as others have noted. I would assume FedEx tracks weight and size carefully along the route so if you have a report showing that the item you dropped off weighed so and so it would be pretty clear that someone either stole the contents or the buyer is scamming you. 11. Do you have pictures of when you shipped it? Any receipts showing the size and or weight of the package? Something to counter the empty box claim? If it went USPS, they can pull the travel logs and when and where it was scanned. May provide additional backing evidence for you.

  13. I've had a rash of newly registered buyers wanting to purchase fairly big ticket sets as well. In these cases, I always contact them to confirm their shipping address and intent to purchase…that way there's an electronic trail in the event they claim they were hacked or try to chargeback. I'm at about 50/50 legit new buyers and sketchy folks who never respond. Legit newbies are generally very appreciative of an extra layer of protection in the transaction. In the case of no response, I cancel the order and select "problem with buyer's address". I have yet to run into any problems with negative feedback using this approach.
