Heard on the security audio recordings, "Hold up guys! I've studied the schematics of the building and on page 55 of the instructions it clearly shows a 2x2 plate on the south façade that we should be able to pop off to gain entry..."6 points

That's very much possible. But even if it's by account, the logic is somewhat flawed. If five people order one each and one person orders five, 17% of orders were "resell" orders but 50% of units went to resellers. So using Lego's numbers, more than half the units were bought by multiple unit buyers. And that's before thinking about multiple orders per account.5 points

I just want to give a shout-out to whoever gave me that link AFTER they supposedly sold out… the link that supposedly broke Legos system and allowed DOUBLE the orders [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. Saved me and allowed me to get my one so thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk5 points

Remember, if you bought 5 Castle of the Forest sets, there will be NO MORE of these sets made, because (I quote from the article) "The high level of demand was compounded by the site performance issues. An ordering glitch meant that people were able to pre-order 5,000 additional Castle in the Forest sets, which means we’ve received orders for 10,000 sets." So actually, all they are doing is opening the other four up to 5000 more orders, at 1 max per order. If you thought CotF was a winner before, it still is now5 points

So we know Kang is going to be in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It's been rumored that the city we saw way off in the distance in the Quantum Realm near the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp is the TVA, and that explains why they can travel through time (they use the Quantum Realm). We don't know if magic works or doesn't work in the Quantum Realm, nor do we know if Infinity Stones work there - we know Scott didn't get snapped, but we don't know if that was just the randomness of the Snap, or because he was in the QR. We also don't know how Steve made it back from his alternate timeline to the prime timeline (see below); does the QR also allow movement between timelines? If so, that makes an even stronger case for the TVA to be located there. I think it's more likely we'll get Kang next week, since the showrunners have said Loki has a more direct tie to future MCU films than the other two series. Do they do the reveal of Kang in this series? Or do they leave it for Ant-Man. Hard to say. But someone is definitely sitting at the end of time. The other theory being put out there is that's it's another Loki variant, but that seems too easy. Also remember that Ravanna is the Kang's lover, and be the one in charge of executing his plan. So near as I can figure, technically, yes, she's a variant. Just like Thanos was in Endgame. However, TVA is (or was) charged with protecting the "Sacred Timeline" so whatever it is that meets the goals of the TVA is what they allow to stay. So, if moving back and forth in time like the Avengers did preserved the ultimate goal of the TVA, then they aren't variants, and they're allowed to do it. So specific to Gamora, if the inclusion of the variant Gamora in the prime timeline doesn't hurt the TVA, then she gets to stay. Old Man Loki was allowed to stick around for ages on that planet because he didn't interact with anyone, and didn't cause any issues. As soon as he decided he wanted to get off that planet and go find Thor - well, that was enough that the TVA needed to prune him. * Regarding Steve - Marvel has said that Steve went to an alternate timeline to live out a life with Peggy. And that has really bothered me, because I felt that he should have been moving in one timeline; it was too complicated to explain alternate timelines, etc. I really wanted there to be three Steve's alive during the Battle of New York (Battle of NY Steve, Steve from Endgame, and Old Steve). But considering how things are being explained in Loki, I'm leaning a lot more toward it being okay that Steve was in an alternate timeline. Just need the final loose end (imo) of "how did he get back to the prime timeline," which could be answered with the QR theory above. Some additional commentary about this week's episode - Richard E. Grant was fantastic, and stole the show. Despite "Loki's never change," he showed us some real change. I loved his Old Loki, especially in the comic classic uniform. Loved all the Easter Eggs (Thanos Copter, Throg, Hi-C Ecto Cooler). The Loki fight was over-the-top fun and made me laugh out loud. It's going to be a long week, waiting for this finale!3 points

Limit was 5,000, but we sold 10,000 - Ugh, that seems a bit embarrassing. The mob freaked out because everyone was supposedly buying 5x, but 75% were for single sets (and they sold 10,000 - so I guess they had what they wanted all along, but still needed to cry like babies. Changing the rules going forward to 1x is fine - if they don't all sell though, hopefully they will allow extra purchases.3 points

My guess is this is a scammer hoping to get a freebie. Some sellers will argue about " arrived too late" when tracking would say otherwise and the scammer is buying time in the hope the seller doesn't authorize and provide prepaid label within 48 hours. they then move to the next step with a slightly different variation, hoping again the seller would argue with them. I would point them to the fact they already said it arrived - that way you have it as additional proof - and also invite them to open AZ claim. I wouldn't reply to them beyond that.2 points

Kang just seems too obvious since, as you said, Kang is planned for Ant Man and the Wasp sequel. And from what I've been reading Immortus and Kang's identities are a bit more dependent upon "when". So we could still end up with both. Immortus also has a tie directly to the Time Keepers and the Time Turners, which basically replaced the Time Keepers, and sort of imprisoned Immortus at the edge of time. Another identity of Kang / Immortus is Rama-Tut (Sphinx and Pyramid seen in ep 5). Immortus has a role with Wanda and ultimately her children because the Time Keepers are afraid she (or her children) will destroy them, so Immortus was supposed to maintain the timeline to keep them safe. Immortus eventually ends up helping the Avengers defeat the Time Keepers / Time Turners and Kang (himself) later on. Then again, the MCU could just take a short cut in all of this. After reading and watching a summary of Immortus, he makes the most sense with taking down the Time Keepers. Renslayer is connected to Kang, so the Loki series could be used as the launch point for the Ant Man and Wasp movie.2 points

I wouldn’t. You’ll have 6 months to sell before the next 5,000 units arrive. That’s a good window to make a flip if you don’t want it for a personal build. “Since we are doubling the production run, the additional 5,000 sets for Round 1 will be shipped in June 2022, as opposed to January 2022. This will also delay the release of Rounds 2 & 3. The final plan for this will be communicated at a later stage.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Equally as plausible, and just as good an idea. I’m loving having a weekly dose of MCU. It’s been a great spring/summer.1 point

One other thought occurred to me. Apparently Wanda's storyline from the comics intertwines with Immortus' quite a bit. Something about him wanting her to have his children so he can kill the Time Keepers and dominate the universe. Disney just modified the after credit's scene from Wandavision (when she is in the cabin). Why do that unless it has a tie into what the MCU is doing moving forward?1 point

There was no "glitch". We know it, TLG knows it, everyone knows it. It's great publicity for them to sell even more of this type of set in the future.1 point

Great recap…and I also thought the Loki brawl was awesome. Can’t wait to see where the finale takes us!1 point

Congrats to your team. Would I have preferred a 7 game series to a 5 game series? Of course. I always love good hockey. But the Lightning dominated in this series.1 point

For my purposes I hosted a local mongodb database and pushed all of the transactions there. You can pull the data out however you wish. Mongodb has a nice feature to export as excel if you wanted everything. It uses gmails api to pull the emails. The process is a bit rudimentary right now and is definitely not user friendly but I was considering polishing it up a bit.1 point

I spent a month or so in the winter writing a program to read all of my emails for email confirmations, deliveries etc. Mining out the item information, store, confirmation numbers, tracking and pricing and storing it in a database. Going to try and wrap it into a delivery dashboard of some sorts that keeps track of all your orders, delivery dates, missed deliveries etc. Wondering if people would be interested in something like that? I was sick of having to manually enter all my orders. Took wayyyyy too long.1 point

This doesn't surprise me...the only thing that is a true bummer is the limit of 1 going forward. At least make it two.... And I am NOT cancelling my orders....10,000 is still pretty limited.1 point

I'm waiting to get a few of these warnings. I did win a SAFE-T claim this week against a scammer buyer who returned bogus parts about 2lbs lighter in a set they returned. I reported the buyer and then filed the claim. I was lucky this time.1 point

I hate to break it to y'all, but resellers are not the center of the Lego universe. Correlation does not equal causation, particularly in the aftermath of a market disruption as large as the one caused by COVID over the last 13-14 months. Just apply Occam's Razer...what is a more likely explanation for the extension of Tree House: (a) it is a wildly popular set and TLG fell so far short of fulfilling its outstanding orders from retailers during the pandemic that it decided to extend it to meet the market demand, or (b) a small group of Lego customers who buy for resale single-handedly bought so many copies of one of the most in-demand sets during the pandemic from Walmart, Amazon, and Target (because LEGO Shop at Home was sold out for months) that Walmart, Amazon, and Target placed restock orders with TLG that were so large that TLG decided to extend the life of the set, which it would have retired had resellers not been buying? At the end of the day, you realize that we all make money reselling Lego when the sets we choose are popular enough that the demand for them outstrips the available supply? If resellers were the driving force behind the extension of certain sets, where would the demand that drives prices increases come from?1 point

Never said that resellers are nothing to Lego...just that resellers are not the kind of driver of Lego's strategy that many here think they are. How much of the $7 billion in revenue that TLG generates per year do you think are attributable to purchases by resellers? And what happens to those sales if resellers were to go away? Do you think they would just vanish...that no one else other than a reseller would be interested in buying those Lego sets? And who else were buying those particular sets? Let's see...Timmy Johnson's mom, Susie Smith's grandmother, Jack Prager's aunt, Nerdy McNerderson (for himself of course), Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo, and every other person who had an interest in buying those sets. LOL...sure...one of the most popular and successful toys of all time would be SOL if not for us resellers...I guess that's why LEGO Shop at Home has consistently banned resellers that it identified and why LEGO Shop at Home, Amazon, Walmart, and Target all impose quantity limits on purchases. Resellers are a part of the Lego ecosystem, but we're not a necessary part...we exist and profit because of the popularity of the product. Take us away and the product remains just as popular and does just as well...the products that we purchase are simply purchased by someone else.1 point

Lego is a private company, with two major stakeholders. They don't respond to shareholders, because they don't exist. Yay LEGO!1 point
