  3. Haven't posted on this site for a while, but coming back once in a while for some reads and nostalgia. Life took over from being active online. As far as I am concerned, I would be glad if I just could access a list of what sets I have, as I have really no idea what is in my parents' garage right now. 😅 In any case, I understand the personal reasons behind all this, so just wishing good luck and health.

  5. I made a passing remark on twitter regarding ST:TNG, Geordi La Forge & Reading Rainbow and got a like from Levar Burton. I only use twitter for toy news purposes so I had to laugh at being noticed. It was like my first comment in.... since... january?

  7. It's a shame Starz did not renew Ash vs Evil Dead for a 4th season. The show was great.

  8. Based on that parts list the torsos are 973pb4202c01 (also used in 21325 Medieval Blacksmith) and 973pb3974c01 (also used in 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay). You can also find them on BL if you search for the Lego element ID.

  9. Even the correction fluid made big improvements over time, I think they started with two bottles where you had to mix them, then to a single bottle. The next evolution was the pen version and the most recent one is like scotch tape where you just run it over the mistake. I remember if for some reason you have to shift the paper up to put on the correction fluid sometimes it may get misaligned and it becomes a PITA to try and realign the paper to continue typing.

  10. Aside from the poor tree, that's one nice looking neighborhood. A similar-ish incident happened close to around the start of this year I think where a big old tree between my mother's house and the neighbor's fell over from back-to-back rainstorms. It just missed her house not by much and would have smashed through her car and the kitchen otherwise. Worst part of the scenario ended up being fixing a small section of the wooden fencing thankfully.

  12. How about Retroware or Throwback Tech or Yesteryear Builds? (Classic Crap? Haha.) I know there is a handful of builds in the MOC Highlights topic already and I came across a deal more surrounding the LEGO Walkman (that actually opens) I found just the other day.

  15. I kinda miss the sound a typewriter makes, and the ding when you go to the next line. Does anyone know how do people type mathematical symbols? I'm pretty sure I've seen a summation sign in old textbooks before.

  19. About a year and a half ago, the site owners began a redesign. Apparently, life happened and they have not completed it. Early on, they assured us they still had our data and it should have been available a few months ago. I have not really followed on if and when they restore our access to the databases and the various tools will be available again. It's a loss of data for most of us that we did not think we needed to keep duplicate records of for personal use. I to used the sight for several years to track purchases and observe selling trends.

  21. 8.05” of rain over the past 36 hours and another 2.5” in the last three hours alone. Sinkholes everywhere. Flooding on most major streets throughout town and multiple bridges washed out throughout the county. More rain on the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
