My 7th 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer. I sorted every set, some were new in box couldn't open, this one I decided to build. Too repetitive, not my style, but looks good on display!

They used Colonial as a honeypot and traced the payment. They were partially successful in grabbing some of the coins and getting physical ownership information on the wallet they were in. So nothing about backdoors, really just luring and catching in the act.

I don't normally post about purchases, but got lucky at my Kroger last weekend and had to share. Picked up 70667 for $4.00 each. got 4 76114 for $8.50 each. got 2

it's more a holiday QFLL (Quick flippin Low Life) where it should be OOS (out of stock)/Backorder goin into Nov...get 1.5x or more RRP (regular retail price) for it...especially local sale so no risk of getting it returned after Christmas (ebay) when its back in stock. For those that are new, the holiday "rush" is real and many resellers (like most retailers) do over half to 70% of their business.

I've got two used pairs of Ghost & Phantom Rebels sets...got them over 2 years ago...even at a profit of $250 ea I can't get myself to clean, inventory and sell...I keep telling myself once summer hits the hot sun will make the peroxide bath much more effective...that was two summers ago and going on my third...my laziness has no bounds

Yeah...no. They don't have a backdoor. It sounds like either because A.) It wasn't secured properly or B.) They tricked the hackers into getting it from him or C.) It was on an exchange and they served the exchange with a court order to turn it over. They don't have a backdoor into people's wallets to just steal it from them unless the owners are negligent.

Apparently their long-term memory is sketchy though. They forgot my orders from 2019 when the limit was 2 and progressed the new orders to in warehouse.

When I picked up a used 10030 ISD, it was in similar shape. All the important stuff was there, maybe $20-$30 worth of BL parts needed, but no plaque sticker. I ended up ordering a new sticker from a guy in Australia on eBay, and was sure to note that it was not an original sticker in the listing. Sold without issue. I guess I'd figure out whether it's worth your time, effort, and money to complete it vs the potential selling price of individual expensive pieces vs "as is" condition.

It's nice to see a Bo Katan figure. But why can the bootleg figure creators consistently use arm printing, but the actual company treats it like a special treat to have a figure with actual arm printing? They somehow pump them out and ship them across the world for a dollar. At least they did better on the helmet anyways. The tiny ships still lack appeal for me, but there are a lot of good figures to add to the collection. This will be another round of split out the figures and sell the ship.

I built the primary build of 31109 3-in-1 Pirate Ship. What a fun build! It had me guessing the whole way through. The engineering of the set is top notch. I love the way it is constructed. It surprised me that the bags were numbered 1 through 9. I rather enjoyed the bagged piece approach for the primary build. I’m looking forward to building the other two builds. My eventual goal is to put this as the center piece of a MOC roller coaster, using two Pirate Coasters for the surrounding elements. I have the track laid out. Now I need to test place the ship and start plotting how it’s all going to work. Here are the pics!
