  1. I'm shocked they included a white figure.....I thought those were not allowed in this day and age.....

  2. Started UCS Hogwarts. Love these little vignettes. I filmed the Chamber of Secrets in stop-motion: Kind of wish the vignettes were self contained in single bags rather than split across 3 different bags, but I get it.

  3. I'm glad (and I'm sure everyone else is too) to read that you're slowly getting back to normal. We're all pulling for you and appreciate the updates. Stay strong and more importantly, stay sane.

  5. Per your guys suggestion, I registered on StockX and put some of my sets in my portfolio. Sold a Tantive in under an hour and was shocked that I didn’t have to pay for shipping. Interested to see how this goes.

  6. On StockX shipping is free for the seller and in my experience impossibly cheap for the buyer (I paid < $15 each to have Ewok Village/Bucket Wheel Excavator shipped from Hong Kong to USA). You don't ship directly to the buyer, you ship to StockX where they verify the item is authentic and then ship it onwards to the buyer. Pricing is fluid in that Sellers list their Asking price and buyers post their Bid and then either can raise/lower until they meet at an agreed upon price and then the sale is official. You can see the price history for every sale for each set. The difference between StockX and Bricklink/eBay is that it's NISB sets only, and once StockX has verified your item is authentic you get paid. There is no communication with the buyer (you don't even know who it is) and you are insulated from any complaints/issues that the buyer has. Once your item reaches StockX and is confirmed to be legitimate, you get paid and you're done. For a high-value set, not having to deal with the possibility of a buyer complaint/return/other issue is a nice perk.

  7. thanks man, got blood work back from Friday, CD4 went up to 293, still low but not aids level low so that was a plus. Lymphocytes came up low too but barely. Pet CT Scan scheduled for next Thurs so hopefully that comes back clear, little nervous bout that one. Then back to hematology 6/4 and couldn't get into Pulmonology until 6/11. The waiting without answers sucks.

  8. Busted open the 7 month old shrink-wrapped pallet of sorted Lego today, so that I could experiment with the correct height for tables based on the height of our sterlite drawers. I can’t express to you all how excited this makes me. It’s better than buying bitcoin below $40,000.

  10. I've sold 14 sets though Stockx and about 50 sets on eBay in the past six weeks, and this pretty much wiped out my inventory of sets I've had sitting around for about five years. On Stockx, the total sale price of the sets I sold ($3483) was lower than Bricklink's lowest asking prices for the same sets ($3590) from US sellers. These figures represent sales prices prior to commissions, and a large part of the difference in the two totals is due to one set (76042, Shield Hellicarrier) that I sold for $89 less than the corresponding Bricklink price. To me, the benefits of Stockx for sellers compared to eBay are the following - No time required for taking pictures, preparing a listing, etc - Shipping is easy and cost-free for sellers - No risk of a return once Stockx authenticates your item and ships it to the buyer The cost of selling on Stockx is higher than on eBay or Bricklink. In addition to the 12 % fee for authentication and processing, there is a 2 % fee for depositing the proceeds in your bank account.

  13. Thanks! I saw it on r/Legodeals yesterday, funny that the day after I complain about it, it shows up on Amazon. I have been waiting so long. Nabbed it.

  14. Really like that set but its been available at that price for too long now. Been said before, but Technic is still a tough move and they are expanding this niche a lot now.
