The 3-in-1 pirate ship wasn't interesting enough for him, and Barracuda bay didn't look like a pirate ship... so he dug into the closet and decided we are building "houses" now. I haven't built anything in my backlog a couple years. Now I walk into the house after work and I'm told that I need to build things. Next he picked out the "grocery store"8 points

Maybe also appropriate for the Walmart Clearance thread, I've been tooling around to various local Walmart stores picking up clearance Hart tools. They are revamping the line for the year bringing in new twice-the-price brushless tools, so I'm finding a little here and a little there marked way down. Initially I just wanted a little inflator and a car washer. But I just kept finding good deals. Even the steel shelving unit was just $21. Now if only I could afford to buy any lumber right now.6 points

Bought three 77907 Mario Sets when the SDCC craze hit last year. Then they stayed in stock at Target for a while so I was kinda bummed... Forgot about them. Then looked 3 days ago what they were selling for 😱! Sold one for $90 today4 points

The latest news.... Leaked images of 40490 which is a Ninjago set of three. Lloyd, Samurai X, and Firstbourne. Leaked images of a new Pets set (unknown set number), with a Dalmatian and Dalmatian puppy. Numbering Budgie and Chick are Bhz #124 and #125 Gap exists between #126 and #138 Harry Potter set (40495) starts at #139 to #145 Ninjago three pack might be #146, #147, and #148 Rumors (previous and current) 40467 was a rumored BHz set. Set number is currently unaccounted for and may not be a BHz set anymore. 40479 is still assigned as an unknown BHz set (possibly Dalmatian set) If Daisy, Scrooge/Boys, and Dalmatians slot as #126 to #132, then we still have six unaccounted for (#133 to #138). We also know that there will be a #150, which means #149 is also unaccounted for (so at least 8 more BHz that will be announced in the future).3 points

I heard today that while India is one of the biggest producers of the vaccine, it kept little to none for itself, and instead exported almost the entire production run. Something that could have potentially helped India was to have forced more of the vaccine to stay in country vs being exported out.1 point

Or maybe a second round of voting within the 57 winners for the top 3-5? Clearly Lego isnt going to make them all, so we are all served best by having the most popular ones voted on by fans.1 point

I'd like to see a larger scale Classic Batmobile before they revisit this thing.1 point

The box is fake, created based on the rumor. This guy made it (or so he said). So the piece count is bogus1 point

Seen a rumour that a remake may be coming later this year. Maybe Smyths found a bunch in a warehouse and this is Lego’s way to get rid of them, once and for all!1 point

Went to my local LEGO store. There was a line snaking through the entire mall, must have been a 3h wait just to get in (I arrived 15 mins before they opened). Spent a few minutes in line then decided this was not worth the cost of a $4.99 polybag, so while waiting I placed my order online. I wanted to order a Mandalorian key chain to get my Tatooine GWP, but was afraid it wouldn't ship with the GWP as it is currently on backorder, so I threw in a The Child just to make sure the GWP ships. Oh wait ... Wasn't that supposed to be the other way around? Sent from my LG-TP450 using Tapatalk1 point

Picked up a Razor Crest at the Lego Store. Used $50 in points, because you know that’s the only responsible thing to do during 2x VIP.1 point

This weekend I got home on Friday to another round of "daddy build another pirate ship". So we built 70618 Destiny's Bounty. Picked it up on Mercari for $60, with only bags 1-3 open, to allow me to sell our sealed copy. Missing the stickers, but ordered them on Bricklink this morning. All we have left pirate ship wise is the 3-in-1 creator ship, and Barracuda Bay. I assume they will be on deck soon.1 point

Built these over the last few nights. I'll keep them out for a couple of weeks and then pack them up until my son is ready for them. He's already pretty good at using the catapults and driving the horsies.1 point

International shipping is rough right now. My priority package from Canada to UK also took 7 weeks instead of the usual 5-7 business days. It's as if it sat at a warehouse for weeks before hopping on a plane, because it didn't get a royal mail scan until the day before it went to the local delivery area Yay LEGO!0 points

Got my 2nd dose of pfizer this morning...have a headache which started pretty shortly after getting it. Hard to focus on work...Will just have to rely on BPer to get me through the day 🥴 The lady doing the observation period was super chatty (she typically forgot to tell people when their time was up); I guess she was talking to all of us (captive audience anyone)...shared a story that she had known an Indian couple who recently moved back to India (after immigrating to US many years ago) to get away from all the US issues...she heard they both died of Covid 2 weeks in.0 points
