I love spicy food. I used to think that the spicier something was, the better it was. Back in 2004 my wife and I made a trip to Jamaica to celebrate me finishing my masters degree. I loved all of the spicy foods that they served, especially the jerk chicken. Anyway, one day I was dishing up my plate at the buffet (remember those? 😂), and the server just looked at me sideways and said “Fire in, fire out...”. I found out what he meant a few hours later and have never been the same since.
My mouth has been watering for the last two days reading all of your posts about spicy ramen. I guess the moral of the story is that I should use half a packet of seasoning when I try one. 🌶 🥵
