OrcKing - thanks for constantly sharing fun MOCs & minifig creations like this. Nothing quite conveys the joy of LEGO like this kind of stuff, and I appreciate the work you put in to these threads!5 points

In all seriousness, this sounds like my kids, especially my 9 year old as it relates to school. We made the decision this week to apply for an Inter District Transfer, and get him out of our district, which seems to be dragging it's heels, and into a STEM-focused school up the road.4 points

Who really cares - They were exclusive to Legoland, and now Target is the exclusive retail store selling them. By the way, I am the exclusive seller of these sets in my house.4 points

Was able to grab 3 more of those great halls from Target, they seem to be coming back in stock sporadically.1 point

2020-2021 described in a single word--Languishing "Languishing is the neglected middle child of mental health. It’s the void between depression and flourishing — the absence of well-being. You don’t have symptoms of mental illness, but you’re not the picture of mental health either. You’re not functioning at full capacity. Languishing dulls your motivation, disrupts your ability to focus, and triples the odds that you’ll cut back on work. It appears to be more common than major depression — and in some ways it may be a bigger risk factor for mental illness."1 point

I was actually able to the purchase. (That and three super mario power packs for $6.99 each) I talked to the wife and was going to pick up another but posted on here, and I saw someone had commented on the reddit post they just got one as well then I saw the responses and was disappointed I didn't jump on the second one quicker.1 point

OMG, thanks for helping me realize why LEGO Shop at Home only showed three available keychains when I searched for them before. Searching "keychain" yields three available results, while searching "key chain" yields 78 available results. I couldn't figure out why LEGO Shop at Home only had three keychains available the last few months. Total facepalm moment.1 point

I got the email too. I'm just asking why you feel that this means anything negative? I get that the reaction is to automatically assume anything "new" from Amazon is going to be negative and I usually agree with that. In this case, I don't see it being negative. If you're saying that you often flip hard to find items that are still currently being produced using Collectible - Like New, I guess that's a different conversation. As far as LEGO is concerned (and all the other toys that I sell after they're out of print), I don't see this having any impact. If the item is out of print and the box is damaged, you just list it as Collectible - Very Good or Collectible - Good depending on box condition. That's what the current rules are, that's what I do now, and what I will continue to do. I don't see this changing anything.1 point

There has been no recent change in the retirement date for this set. It has been scheduled for the end of this year since well before the Cara Dune actress got fired.1 point
