  7. This too much work to redeem points. It’s pathetic. One time on my phone, I accidentally clicked on the option to redeem points for a physical store instead of online. It was a hassle getting it reversed. Took 1 month but was lucky enough to still get the set my son wanted.

  10. There are English subtitles if you click on the closed captions button. I have no idea how to enable them for the embedded video by default.

  11. Spend this morning and part of the afternoon watching the first 14 episodes of season 1 of the Big Bang Theory on HBO Max with my daughter. It was wonderful laughing and talking with her! Watched an eBay auction close just after noon for the Mario Kart 64 box and manual that sold for $62. Decided I did not really need it and saved my money as well as my sanity. I play this game several times a week.

  12. I pulled the trigger on an eBay listing for 10212 UCS Imperial Shuttle that was up for ~£119 inc. delivery. No figures or instructions visible, but as it happens I snagged a set of instructions cheaply (~£28) a couple of years ago just in case such a listing appeared. One of the pics was also detailed enough to tell that it was proper Lego and not bogus bricks. It just arrived, and looks like I lucked out here. No sign of discoloration, stickers all seem to be here, and there was even the Luke figure (albeit with the wrong hair). I have the correct hair piece, as well as the correct stormtrooper and most of the Vader figure too (just missing the right head). Looks like for less than £20 I'll have the full set of figures, putting me at about £166 for a complete set (though I'm yet to check through every single piece to make sure of that). Very pleased with this - you'd normally be lucky to get one in that condition for less than about £450.

  15. About a year and a half ago, the site owners began a redesign. Apparently, life happened and they have not completed it. Early on, they assured us they still had our data and it should have been available a few months ago. I have not really followed on if and when they restore our access to the databases and the various tools will be available again. It's a loss of data for most of us that we did not think we needed to keep duplicate records of for personal use. I to used the sight for several years to track purchases and observe selling trends.

  19. Apparently the at st had now been extended to the end of the year. Not sure if this has been mentioned or not here. Brickfanatics and MandRproductions have confirmed this and it seems plausible given the fact it keeps coming back at Lego. It may have been planned this way the whole time for just Lego and Amazon to continue it. It seems this way in Europe anyway. I guess Australia just got an early retirement on it. I can't help to think though that re sellers have really shot themselfs in the foot over this matter and recent sales and hype over the set have changed Lego's mind somewhat.

  22. I think what you are remembering is a time when people were free to find humor in the face of horror (without the fear of being labeled being hateful, insensitive, and in need of being canceled).

  23. To me the chess pieces need to be a bit taller (and wider). Ron looks ridiculous sitting on the Knight 4 in 1 Brickheadz pack ? 🧐 I am guessing $60 MSRP to reflect inflation Perhaps these are teenage version of the students? The same design like the old ones, except they will have an additional 1x2 flat for each leg

  24. I was surprised with the amount of people complaining like it was there god given right to have one. I bet a lot of these people judging re sellers are more than likely re sellers themselves that hate the fact they missed out on one. What difference does it make re seller or not we all have an equal right to get one with the same chance. I didn't get one or the space coin but did I get annoyed and complain no because I realise that these things are in short supply and your lucky to get one. Regardless of how the Lego site works or if they say somethings limited there will still be people moaning about anything they can. Also don't understand all these people saying they will boycott Lego because of this it's just utter rubbish and empty threats, I guarantee they'll all forget about it in a week or so and be back sat at the computer on the next promo clicking like a mad man trying to get it again. People who throw there dummy out will just ultimately get Lego to stop all these promos and ruin it for everyone. Lego clearly aren't bothered or they would of changed the way they do these things. Obviously it would help to get the glitches out the website though.
