I'm pretty certain every coin was originally supposed to drop on the 1st of the first five months. Likely the only reason the first one dropped in the middle of January was a delay, because past that, they've all dropped on the 1st's. I'm still checking every night, but I would be shocked if the last coin became available any sooner (or later) than May 1st.4 points

Play it and find out. There are several of them with different sounds from different sets. If the battery is dead you can take it apart and replace.3 points

Well, if it's anything like the bulk lots I've been cleaning and sorting lately, it's for sure got some rubber bands, maybe a band-aid (plaster), and at least one old battery. Also the front/back of 60051 passenger train there.3 points

I grew up in Orlando. Space Shuttle was part of our culture. I watched Challenger blow up with my naked eye standing in the outdoor field of my school yard when I was in middle school. We would watch launches on TV and then seconds after the shuttle clears the top of the tower we would run outside and watch it go up with the naked eye. It was a great time for space travel. I also have a good family friend that is an air traffic controller at the Kennedy landing facility. One time (pre-9/11) the 747 was there after dropping off the shuttle. My friend called me up and asked if my wife and I wanted to come to NASA to see the 747. We got a whole behind the scene tour of the facility. Got to go inside the 747. Sit in cockpit (the whole thing is completely gutted as you can imagine to reduce the weight), climb the yellow tower they used to remove the shuttle off the back of the 747. It was super cool. He took us out on the runway and showed us the marks where the front tire touches down and makes the skid mark (they paint a circle around them with the STS number to mark the moment in time). The tower called us on the radio while were were there and informed us to get off the runway as the 747 was getting ready to take off. We literally pulled a few feet off the runway into the grass while the 747 took off right in front of us. It was so cool. An experience I'll never forget. He said one of the biggest challenges they have at the landing facility is keeping wildlife off the runway. Apparently fences don't work very well. A 747 / Space shuttle combo lego set would be super cool.3 points

Looking quick at Bricklink there are 4 versions of the light/dark bluish grey sound brick. There are also a couple of Trans clear bricks. Depending on the little song it plays for you it could be worth $1, or $150.1 point

Thanks. Not sure how I didn't notice that. I actually read through the thread and skimmed past that part. LOL. So that means others should have it available May 1 as well?1 point

I have a feeling that there is a civil war of sorts within TLG and it's team of designers in terms of studs vs smooth. I can see the purist side wanting the studs because "That's LEGO" and the IP Authentic side pushing for more new "Smooth & Curved" pieces to bring more realism into the models...because "that's where LEGO is going".1 point

Mine has shipped as well. Now hoping for safe travels though I'm relatively close to the distribution center and have never had any issues with Lego shipping.1 point

You also have 4431 Ambulance or 60031 City Starter Set in there, based on the white Slope 3x6 with Star of Life sticker. And set 7596 Trash Compactor Escape from Toy Story 3, based on the dark bluish gray Cylinder 4x4x6 with the fire and danger sticker. Don’t see the minifigs thoug, Lotso should be easy to spot. There is also a minifigure with black legs, (partial) white arms and a black helmet showing, wearing Minifigure, Body Wear Armor Ninja Style. I can only find a minifigure from the Castle Ninja theme from 1999 fitting that description, but that doesn’t fit the date range of the other sets, so this is likely a mix of different body parts combined with an early Ninjago minifigure body armor part. Nothing else stands out to me.1 point

Not a Harry Potter fan at all but I would buy Hogsmeade just to integrate with the Winter Village sets. Looks great without being particularly Harry Potter-centric.1 point

Pics are up, https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-harry-potter-2021-hogsmeade-und-kammer-des-schreckens/ It's not clear to me if these sets can join up with the old ones although its clear they can be combined within themselves. The color scheme is slightly different as well. Happy to finally get Fluffy!1 point

I mean, it’s 25 years old already but they did make one https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=6544-1&name=Shuttle Transcon 2&category=[Town][Launch Command]#T=P1 point

Yeah, I seen the train. Base plate and some tracks are present too along with rubber bands. I guess I need to wait to confirm the battery and plaster 🤣 Also an unprinted jar jar there1 point

So when the first space shuttle launched on April 12, 1981 I was in Florida on vacation, and we pulled over got out of the car went to the beach and watched it take off. It was amazing. Star Wars was just a few years earlier. Star Trek the Movie. I kept up with them building the shuttle. Buck Rogers TV Show using as a deep space orbiter what looked like a shuttle. It was an amazing time to be a kid and dream of our future. Yes any model of the Shuttle means that much to me. Its a symbol for all of that and the USA. Lego space sets bring all that back to mind. That includes getting an exclusive Ulysses. I hope we can return to that type of dreaming of technology and exploration for the future.1 point

NASA was of MAJOR interest to kids/adults throughout the 1960's - 1980's. It was not only a symbol of space exploration, but it was also a symbol of the Cold War between the U.S., China, and USSR. We did not have instant availability to videos and shows 24/7 that covered space exploration. When a space launch occurred, it was watched by as many viewers as they had during the Super Bowl.1 point

Reads like a scalper victory to me. We're sorry you couldn't get the limited set you wanted. We'll try harder next time. 🤞1 point

On cancel screen, there should be a checkmark to exclude shipping. Technically you used the money to pay for shipping, it is not your fault the address is invalid1 point

TLG appears to be getting its supply chain issues fully worked out so I would expect to see at least a few healthy restocks before the end of 2021.1 point
