  3. I've said it before but if “they” want people to use cryptocurrencies they have to make it easier. This process is so dumb and restrictive. Open Bitforex account, transfer Bitcoin, convert Bitcoin to USDT, buy OMI, wait for confirmation, move to a wallet. Seriously? WTH? I can physically buy a car as an investment faster than this clown show.

  4. I got to go to see Endeavour space shuttle and also The Art of the Brick at California Science Center today. It was great, could also have been as it was our first proper day out in a year too! I hope everyone has a great weekend 😊

  5. Our local Galeria department store had quite a significant amount of larger sets at 50% off because of some damage to the box. In some cases really only shelf wear. First time I went "deep" on a large set, because I believe this is next on the Modular retirement list: Assembly Square 10255. Deep for me means 5 units, quite a few of you folks here will probably laugh at this number. 😉 It was interesting to see which sets were gone first (Tree House, Hogwarts Castle, Star Destroyer) and which were still available after more than a day (Corner Garage, Book Shop, Old Trafford, Roller Coaster, Crocodile), though the amount available on the last ones was also higher.

  7. After @cladner mentioned 75254 retired in SAH Oz, had a look for other retired sets and it seems 75251: Darth Vader's Castle has also retired there.

  8. This morning I built the Rogue Shadow and it was not like most of the other Star Wars builds I have done. The ship is asymmetrical, has a fair amount of internal Technic pieces and took me over three hours to complete, partially because of my curious need to have the Lego logo facing in the same direction as I build (the set has under 500 pieces). I really bought set for the excellent minifigure selection because it includes the exclusive Darth Vader Battle Damaged and Darth Vader's Apprentice, and ended up liking it because it is a unique ship. The set was supposed to be complete per the Craigslist seller: 10-15 pieces missing, about 30 pieces included which did not go with the set (the 6 x 16 light bluish gray plate being the most dumbfounding) and 5 Mega Bloks, definitely the more typical used find for most of us.

  10. Why would they skip a number? Because of superstitions? I'll gladly take 666. All hail the dark lord.

  11. No, it made its way to Amazon and I just initiated the removal to inspect and challenge, etc. I'm surprised with the comment from the buyer about the box being crushed in the shipment that they wouldn't mark this as carrier damage.

  12. Stopped at a local LEGO Store. Picked up 40454, the Venomized Spider-heroes set with Spider-Man, Venom, Venomized Iron Man, and Venomized Spider-Ham. And two 40463 Easter Bunnies.

  13. Yeah, removal orders take forever now. I'm still showing a Sesame Street from Christmas that is stranded because they closed the listing.

  17. Yeah, I was excited to go and it turned out to be better than I expected! We were also lucky that with the limited capacity there was hardly anyone there.

  18. The Art of the Brick is a really cool exhibit. My wife and daughter and I got to see it in Myrtle Beach, SC several years ago. We loved it.

  20. Ok, This is the first time I have seen this. A redemption sold out?? and FYI I have more than $100 in points so its not like I don't have enough to redeem for a $50 one.

  21. I was finally able to snag and appt and got my vaccine yesterday! Got the single shot J&J. Thanks to all the military, firefighters, and nurses there who made the process fast, efficient, and practically painless! Their the real heroes. ❤️ On a side note, I didn't know the Oakland A's season opener was yesterday as well. I waited in the tailgate line for a minute before realizing I was in the wrong line. Doh!
