I was finally able to snag and appt and got my vaccine yesterday! Got the single shot J&J. Thanks to all the military, firefighters, and nurses there who made the process fast, efficient, and practically painless! Their the real heroes. ❤️ On a side note, I didn't know the Oakland A's season opener was yesterday as well. I waited in the tailgate line for a minute before realizing I was in the wrong line. Doh!

My son is currently building this set also. Pleasantly surprised by the build, the details, and the overall "Bondification" of the car! I agree. A lot of cool features coming into fruition as we build. Special thanks to @Phil B for nudging me to pick it up (got it used, complete with box, for $80).

My son and I completed about 1/3 of the Aston Martin build when we got to this step. I was wondering, "What in the heck is this space in the rear quarter panel for"? Well done Lego.

Yes you’re right the date sucks for this news. However, I’ve been tracking this for awhile. I’ve seen leaked photos of a couple figs. Plus a leaked list of figs which matches the pics that were posted here earlier (since deleted). I’ve also seen another leaked pic that shows the packaging. I’m rating this as true for the overwhelming evidence I’ve been seeing for weeks not just today. As far as leaked pics - please don’t post. We don’t need the Macs to get in trouble with LEGO. My understanding is that LEGO has softened their stance on the discussion of leaks - you’re free to discuss away - but don’t be sharing leaked photos. This set is still rumored and not officially announced.

I have noticed the same about the coins as well. Maybe that is a temporary thing as the people buying them now want to display them and dont care. While people buying a year from now are collectors and want them factory fresh. I was thinking of just opening my coins and enjoy them before I sell them

I still open the container and make sure LEGO didn't make a mistake and have the wrong set inside.

Just noticed Lego changed the packaging of this set. The set I ordered months ago had tape seals (right in photo), the set I recently received from Amazon had thumb press and glue, no tape seals. So if you collecting variants..., ha ha! It's easiest to see the difference along the bottom as they moved artwork to clear the thumb tabs.

My one issue is that Marvin’s head mold is awfully small [emoji23][emoji23] I get it because normally he has such a tiny body and they can’t make that as a Lego figure as easily, but still, that head should be larger...

This rumor has been spinning for a while now though such could be more of wishful thinking than anything. Today's date does not help for starters and while the character sheet appears to be decently done, a couple nitpicks from me would be the choice of Petunia Pig and Lola Bunny's attire. Honestly how much screen time has Petunia Pig had over 80 years since her introduction in 1937 with majority of them being cameos of different shorts I believe. There does seem to be some pairing here in character choices and Porky with Petunia do go well together. Regarding Lola Bunny, I think the outfit here is based around her original model reference sheet sporting a yellow tube-top instead of the original in-movie white one bringing another point of why isn't she based around her "less sexualized" redesign for the upcoming Space Jam 2. Thankfully she is not but the point still remains. Also why does Taz have a tail peeking behind his head when he barely had a stub for one. I mean it was there but not that long. In any case if this is legitimate then hopefully there shall be another series to follow for the likes of Foghorn Leghorn with George P. Dog and Pepe Le Pew alongside Penelope Pussycat in spite of the "normalizing rape culture" some media 'maroon' is trying to spin around the scandalous skunk.

My family and I went to Kilgore Falls in Harford County, MD this past Tuesday (I know, it is not today, but close enough). My daughter does not have a beard, and that is a black mask on her chin. Hey Phil B, raising twins does get “easier” as they get older.

This morning I built the Rogue Shadow and it was not like most of the other Star Wars builds I have done. The ship is asymmetrical, has a fair amount of internal Technic pieces and took me over three hours to complete, partially because of my curious need to have the Lego logo facing in the same direction as I build (the set has under 500 pieces). I really bought set for the excellent minifigure selection because it includes the exclusive Darth Vader Battle Damaged and Darth Vader's Apprentice, and ended up liking it because it is a unique ship. The set was supposed to be complete per the Craigslist seller: 10-15 pieces missing, about 30 pieces included which did not go with the set (the 6 x 16 light bluish gray plate being the most dumbfounding) and 5 Mega Bloks, definitely the more typical used find for most of us.

Not sure why I built this in Spring...but, finally built the santa sleigh from #10245 Santa Workshop...and slightly modified it with the Reindeer from 10275 Elf Clubhouse. Also working on a Nativity for the fireplace mantle to go with the Santa sleigh...but, I still need to work on ordering some parts (including finding a different angel and a Lego baby - kind of an important piece to the scene...LOL).

Spent the morning doing some boat restoration. Sails just arrived for the Flagship. I didn't appreciate the size of the Flagship until sitting it next to the Black Pearl. It's a massive boat.

Yeah. This morning I weaved bacon into the form of a taco shell for breakfast reasons. My cardiologist in not amused.

Seems they are constantly introducing new rules, limitations, etc. I just found out recently that Lego will only only you to spend $500 on gift certificates. And if you want more that one (less than $500) it has to be a separate purchase. One of these days one of these knock-offs may figure things out.

Just got a BS scam job filed against me for a lot. This type of #%@! f'n kills me.
