  1. I'm not a big comic book follower, but apparently Walker was an ambiguous character…changed alliegances a few times and went by Super Patriot and U.S. Agent. My son didn't like him as soon as he saw "those stupid sideburns". 😏

  2. Are we still waiting for Amazon to match Target?

  3. A few double stack opportunities. Looks like the best is Shuttle 60226 20% + gift card. Also 75935 Baryonyx and 76125 Hall of Armor have the same. 21151 and 75892 have smaller discounts. Blue and green base plates are always good too.

  5. Episode 2 felt flat and slow . Introducing a new character like Isiah and trying to explain him not being introduced till now because he went through a lot is lazy writing . As in similar scripts , the writers are having a hard time justifying the introduction of a new character that should either not exist or have been introduced many movies ago . Also some of the SJW stuff was a bit over a the top . Can’t we just watch something for the entertainment value these days .

  9. yeah exactly that..lol here's what I think when something new hits the market and pops: initial sudden unexpected climb sellers rushing to sell initial saturation causes price drop over time, the rest of the world learns about it and number of buyers grow ...if it's limited commodity...price should appreciate over time. Typically the "pop price" is not the ceiling...but a good indicator for demand/popularity

  10. Got the same. This email summarizes Amazon FBA in a nutshell. Numerous cases opened by numerous sellers and the listing is STILL removed because we all violated Amazon's policy by not providing the correct Personal Flotation Devices documents for this LEGO set. It blows my mind that there isn't a single human being at Amazon that could resolve this issue.

  12. Also, not a big John Walker fan. Writers tried to make him likable/relatable, but he just came off as a smug jerk. I knew Steve Rogers, Steve Rogers was a friend of mine, and you sir are no Steve Rogers.

  18. Nope. They are consistently available and often at $40. There is either a ton of inventory or the “retired in March” thing was all made up.

  20. Kinda bugs me that the link to the other site is hidden. I cannon mention ************** here or that just happens with links? It seems they really have it as a non mentionable word... Well, it rhymes with brickBconomy.

  21. To be fair to people saying goodbye - the forum is nice and all, but it was the Brickfolio that made Brickpicker the go-to site for LEGO investing. Lots of tangible data rather than just another forum where people share opinions. I'm still holding out hope, but even as an ardent supporter of this website - you've got to agree that it's missing a vital piece for much longer than anyone ever thought possible. I'm not going anywhere, but I see why people are frustrated and looking to other sites to support their investing habit.

  24. I love how people suggested we should be running a dual tracking system. I'm just curious, not for tax purposes, but this site was how I was tracking what sets I owned and how many of them I had if more than one. I have since moved to an excel spreadsheet and inventoried a bunch of rubber maids and boxes full of stuff; but I did have all my dates and purchases prices stored here. I don't have receipts lying around from 10 years ago except for a few types of items like my homes, automobiles and jewelry. I'm a selective collector not an investor, the site attracted me because I could quickly update purchases. Plus I actually found sets from my childhood. Remember when firemen had multiple swivels on their arms and you built there body from 2x2 blocks? I found that and a few others in the attic. The site was useful to show me that I was missing a lot of pieces if I wanted to make it complete.
