Looks like some of the 2020 list have started 'officially' retiring on the US site...Finally. lol. Las Vegas, Shanghai, Flintstones, Steamboat Willie, 6 Minecraft sets, a handful of Star Wars sets, Beetle, Camper Van, Downtown Diner, Taj Mahal and Winter Village Fire Station, to name a few.3 points

I would really like to see a Space Shuttle worthy of an UCS/Expert tag. 5000-6000 pieces at least. We have had enough of the average Joe shuttles.3 points

big thank you! considering we could only get one per person and 5,000 sold out within hours, I believe these will be a hot collector's item. however, these loyalty rewards are not really known to the larger public, so demand is always fuzzy because a majority don't know. we all know about sets because their featured on the site over the course of time, but these are posted behind a wall and then quickly taken down once sold out. i think the coins will be a huge winner with the boomers, but again, not everyone knows.2 points

Picked one up locally and they still had some Amelia sets left at the store as well so I was able to get all 3 free sets 👍2 points

The previous sets had a period of time (in the agreement with the builders) that restricted the selling of the instructions outside the program (but they are readily available to purchase now). If they forgo the great packaging in this wave (high quality boxes, printed instructions, etc.) - the collectible, investable aspect of this would be gone.2 points

Three of these sets are by the Old Fishing Store designer and somewhat match that aesthetic. That's going to be hard to say no to for me, as I loved that set. Castle in the Forest seems to have a similar function to the Forestmen Camouflaged Outpost set, and I loved that set growing up. This could get expensive...2 points

Yeah.. not going to ship to Oregon with a new account such a large item and also zero feedback and based in russian federation. not worth it.2 points

Yup, and I always email the buyer to let them know they're cancelled and why. It's very clearly stated in all of my listings that I only ship to select countries using eBay's Global Shipping Program. Any attempt to circumvent that will result in cancellation, as I prefer what little seller protection I get from eBay to the Wild Wild West potential of freight forwarders. I use something like "violating our terms of service" in my email, and that usually does the trick. Have yet to get a negative feedback, or any grief from eBay as a result.2 points

Haha, I see that nobody has been on that for about a year. Didn't even know it existed. Thx Cladner.1 point

Thats exactly what I was thinking. maybe he will be in the GWP1 point

I never tried calling to redeem, you could try that I suppose, but yes, the online system only allows one per order. And a free shipping code counts as one, making it even more painful.1 point

Maybe the instructions will be these non fungible tokens I keep hearing about1 point

Front page on the LLNY site also shows a code for $10 off $50 on Ninjago sets.1 point

Wierd....no code. $100 threshold I thought...I have made multiple orders over $100 with free shipping... $100 threshold worked for me with no code as well just now. Other things they have to hit the $100 include Tulips and Brickheadz Pandas.1 point

I'm guessing they don't want to send out an email to sellers with the subject line "AFOL Designer Program Wholesale Opportunity" this time.1 point
-
Did you read this somewhere from the announcement? It sounds like the verbiage used from the last AFOL designer program. Those ideas all followed the guidelines to begin with. All of these images were models submitted to the ideas platform before the conception of this program. I have a feeling these will get some alters one way or another. If not, I will be pleasantly surprised. The instruction part maybe driven by sustainability practices??1 point

I missed the group ones. I think they are limited to 1,000 per print so might be a good hold or flip.1 point

The windmill is my fav. Was hoping for the Addams house but looks like no licensed sets.1 point

Anyone grab the Pooh print before it sold out? It was clearly the best one, I managed to get the other one that had all the characters in it. At the time it was saying less than 50 available.1 point

Mos Eisley Cantina has been in stock at Amazon for the last three hours. It states only one left but I ordered one and kept checking it every quarter hour and it is still showing that you can order one. You pays your money, you takes your chances. https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Star-Wars-Building-Construction/dp/B08HVXPWMP1 point

This is gonna be expensive for me considering that are quite a few sets that I like. Given the limited quantities it might be a good investment as well, the countries are limited to places where there is Lego SAH so there will be further demand from the rest of the world. I'm still holding on to two sets of the Lowenstein Castle, lowest price on bricklink is 728 now. I think that's the only set which is a multi-bagger.1 point

I've been selling on ebay since 2001 and I've seen this many times. I still like to do the auction format and I've had items get bid up to stupid amounts when the buyer could have used a BIN on someone's else's item for significantly less...don't try to understand it...just enjoy it when it happens...1 point

Target has 20% off on a good chunk of sets, with some of the rumored retiring sets (Diving Yacht, Creeper Mine, Townhouse, to name a few) included.1 point

Any recourse with Amazon if the customer returns an order because they slapped a shipping label straight on the LEGO set? Set is sealed back in my inventory with a large part of the front artwork ripped off, and parts of a shipping label showing. Or is this "cost of business"? I know I can (and will) sell this on EBay or BL as a damaged box set, but that takes a big chunk out of my profit (it was a Frozen set that is uniquely profitable on Amazon).0 points
