Most of these sets will see resistance when approaching double RRP, as so many were many available at discount.

I disagree. While it would have been much better if it had faced an early retirement it's been pretty easy to find at 20% off and has a good/rare group of figures and is a good unique model of an AT-ST.

I'm not sure what you mean that it "will" find its way over? It is already there. That's what I'm saying. This just aligns merchant fulfilled with FBA. I absolutely hate it, but I get why they're doing it. They want the customer experience to be seamless and not confuse the customer with different policies between ordering from Amazon's inventory, FBA, or MFN.

The castle never made a "debut" stateside...News of Hidden Side as a line retiring hit before the Castle even made it to LEGO Shop at Home here. I believe they may not even have made it onto retailer shelves...only saw it on LEGO/LEGO Shop at Home, Amazon, and Iwoot/Zavvi (at about 20% over RRP) It was pretty obvious that the Castle was going to be a really..really short run...and I thought I would have time to pick them up on Amazon at RRP...NOPE (a whale got wind and scooped them all up overnight...or it felt that way). I have a few tucked away...will likely start selling at $300 and $400.

My local LEGO store told me they only received one shipment of castles and it was only a handful at that.

These sets have looked like they were in really nice condition too. Hard to do with all the trans colors they used. Very cool.

I bought mine mostly 50% off or more, they have been on clearance once during summer and now again. Only the castle and newbury high I bought with a smaller discount at about 30% off.

I have a few of the sets haven't tried to sell any yet, castle, newbury high, fairground, shrimp shack, school bus. The rest I bought mainly for my own collection, the concept itself I think was a dud with terrible box art but the sets and figs are quite cool. I have a bunch of Nehmaar Reem minfigs from bricks and pieces for myself. I don't think it's going to be a good quick flip and it might be a while for latecomers to want to get some of the other sets. At the moment only the castle set seems to be appreciating well.

I have not seen the move nor had any interest to do so. Feel free to mock me if I am wrong. The dragon looks like a derivation of Naga (South East Asian giant serpent). The castle looks fine except that big green bulb shaped tower looks a bit out of place to me. But yay for new print ?

Polar Express has been on top of my wish list for years. Glad to hear I'm not alone! Wish they didn't try to re-enter the adult train market with Crocodile. I feel like that's a poor seller and will make them shy away from trains in the future. On the plus side, I Polar Express could appeal to both adults and children, depending on the build difficultly.

The nexo knight app was removed last year so eventually the hidden sides app will go too I guess. So did Hidden Sides bomb due to the app or the box art? Lego doesn't seem to have done well with AR, let's see how Vidiyo turns out.
