I look forward to seeing the new version of the site, along with some of it's old features that have been upgraded. That being said, while I don't want to speak for Jeff, I will tell you that serious family illnesses over the past year within Jeff's immediate family has taken up much of Jeff's time. This is besides the added workload from his normal job due to the Covid BS. Jeff would never say anything, but I thought it was time to give people some heads up as to why certain site issues have not been addressed.

Using any free online service is probably fine if all you want to do is track your personal collection value or see some general market trends, but anyone that is actively reselling should really invest in proper accounting software or set up their own Excel spreadsheet to avoid any potential issues with their data.

Spent this morning into the afternoon moving our soundbar down into the basement as well as doing some rewiring to it (TV only two HDI inputs and I needed a splitter) so I could starting binge watching The Mandalorian. My family I recently bought Disney + for a year and the show is so much better with the soundbar. My son said it sounds like a movie theater. Success!

Agreed. I loved the 21st century update to her wardrobe. She looks good and at the same time, when in power mode - scary as all get out.

Lessons learned I guess, but that's not something I would pass off like that. Shipping direct to customers can be such a colossal waste of time if something goes wrong or someone freaks out about tracking. USPS is not one to take the time to figure out what happened. Go down to your local post office, explain what happened. They will probably bounce you around until you find someone who knows what to do -- or you may just find someone that just gives you their thoughts on what to do. There's supposed to be somewhere where they keep such packages but it may take several trips till it turns up. In any case, don't take anyone's word for it. Keep following up. Good Luck.

Last year I switched to Quickbooks from another accounting program. I use it for my other business, so it makes sense for me to use the same. Super easy to use and I like all the reporting features and the way you can expand detail from any report. I took some accounting classes in college and high school and have always done my own books so that's all from my perspective. One of the cool features I like since switching is I can click "attach" while entering any receipt and my iPhone automatically readies to take a pic which it then keeps attached to the bill for future reference if needed. I haven't looked into Inventory Lab very much, but what appealed to me there is getting a "market value" of your inventory at any time. Also, from what I understand it makes using FBA easier. FBA is pretty straight forward to me anyway but the value there may be the way it can track your inventory since Amazon seems to loose track at times. Someday I'll probably look into Inventory Lab more, but you definitely want to make a long term decision. It's a hassle to convert to something else later and then there's the learning curve. A lot of time is wasted that could be spent buying more Lego!

He is a clever guy with “backroom” deals access that does high volume low margins but not too bright. I bought a parted out DISNEY train station from him for $110 shipped and it included the minifigures which are worth that much alone. I guess he is too busy to be bothered with pulling the figs? But he does have amazing access to max quantity of HTF sets. Maybe the Danish has a winter home in Key Biscayne?

Ice skate was the highest I've seen. Although the 2nd Xmas one is always pretty high for the length of time it runs and the volume of sales. For reference that one ranged from just under 1k to 12k per store. Most stores being in the 1k-2k range

I can see that needing some time to process, even for a super computer. Also, the last words between Wanda's Vision and Wanda deeply imply he'll be back in some form. Vision: "We have said goodbye before. So it stands to reason..." Wanda: "We'll say hello again one day". Last note - when Wanda's Vision touched new Vision's forehead, the chip turned yellow and then back to blue. I'm betting Wanda will turn it yellow and then we'll see the Old Vision reborn. Only question I have is when... Dr Strange movie? Place your bets now...

Wife and I was wandaing about Cream Vision...she thought he would simply seek Wanda out (i.e., "I'm Back!"); but I told her after having his memories returned he probably need some time alone to sort things out. Cream Vision did not get WandaVision's memories...only his original ones back...so his last thought was Thanos is pulling my brain out of my head...

Inventory lab

Would be hard to top the ice rink. There are over 600 on ebay and it barely gets $20. I hope this is not the new standard production on gwps.

Just received the land rover from target. It also had that disclaimer on the order page about showing what's in the box. It was delivered in the brown lego outer box with the actual set box inside. So everything arrived fine. Also received two medium set from Walmart today. Those where just put inside a shipping bag. I haven't opened it yet to see the condition.

Found a damaged box Volkswagen for half off, happy to pick it up for personal build.

Done. Easy.

Short-time lurker, likely not going to post much, but I figured I'd let you all know that I received my Octan coin today (the benefits of living less than three hours away from a LEGO warehouse) and either I got lucky, or the quality is MUCH better. No residue in between the glass, the coin is facing as straight up as it can get and the paint job is excellent. Since it's hand painted it's not completely flawless, but you have to peer really closely at it in order to spot the flaws. Long story short, if this was the quality of all five coins, I would be very pleased.

I got together with my Dad yesterday for his birthday, and he gave me this from when I was a kid. He specified, "it's not for you to sell, it's to put together with your girls." Box, instructions, and all parts. I spent HOURS playing with this set back in '84/'85.

I love how people suggested we should be running a dual tracking system. I'm just curious, not for tax purposes, but this site was how I was tracking what sets I owned and how many of them I had if more than one. I have since moved to an excel spreadsheet and inventoried a bunch of rubber maids and boxes full of stuff; but I did have all my dates and purchases prices stored here. I don't have receipts lying around from 10 years ago except for a few types of items like my homes, automobiles and jewelry. I'm a selective collector not an investor, the site attracted me because I could quickly update purchases. Plus I actually found sets from my childhood. Remember when firemen had multiple swivels on their arms and you built there body from 2x2 blocks? I found that and a few others in the attic. The site was useful to show me that I was missing a lot of pieces if I wanted to make it complete.
