I hate folding those windshield sun screens. They never fold correctly when I am in a hurry. Give me one that folds like a map* anytime. *For the younger members: back in the day, maps were actually printed on large pieces of paper instead of on iPhones/GPS systems

This isn't my problem. Mine is the damn reflective packaging on items like Funko Pops or other things still in plastic wrap. My photography set up is pretty basic, so I'm always looking for ways to take the picture without showing myself or what's behind me. I definitely have had some where I wasn't thinking about it until going to post the picture and my dumb face is staring back at me.

Sellers who include their foot or feet in their pictures annoys me...I want to see what you are selling, not what you what shoes you are wearing, or worse, your actual foot or feet. Argh....

Ok so now the expectation is for politicians to do above and beyond their governmental duties in these kinds of events. You know what? I like that. Why should we expect them to sit around on their fat asses while people are suffering. Let's be consistent on this though. Everyone should hold the same standard for these politicians no matter if they have R or D or I or anything else behind their names. Can we agree on this?

Because she's American and there are Americans suffering. They just happen to live in Texas. She has a platform, plenty of followers, and as a politician, can wield it and inform her supporters how to help those in need effectively. One of the rare instances of where social media power can be pushed towards something worthwhile. Why did I give money to TX charities this morning? Because they're fricking suffering and are in desperate need. Why do Americans donate a lot during natural disasters in other states? Because they do what they can when people ask for help across state lines. Some give a lot, some give a little. They do it to feel good about themselves, to help others, to try to find ways to help, to do the right thing, OR a combination of all of the above.

And it can fold up like a windshield sun screen if you are lacking storage space like I am. I also got an inexpensive LED light ring during black Friday for an external light source. That with the flash on my digital SLR I haven't had bad photos since.

I'd say that is buyer beware. They are getting a new in wrapping item, just make sure you states you're not responsible for the state of the item under the wrapping.

As has been discussed before, Hasbro has cancelled the planned rerelease of Cara Dune figures in the Black Series and Vintage Collection. I had preorders at an online retailer for both rereleases that were placed before all of this, and the retailer had to cancel them because the figures aren’t being rereleased anymore. I could see LEGO keeping 75254s that were already produced on the shelves or fulfilling preorders from sets that were already produced, but I’d be surprised if they ran new production of this set.

I didn’t but I think if I had not opened it and removed the residue I for sure would have, it was pretty bad in my case (it was like sawdust or something). I ended up selling mine as “pre-owned” though.

I planned to just offload one in the factory wrap. You guys had any complaints from buyers?

Does anyone have any tips on how to screw the case back together? My coin was upside down so I unscrewed it to flip it the correct way and it's next to impossible to screw back together. I totally regret doing this.

I don’t know that there is any pressure to remove the set. The issue is with the actress that plays a character on a series, not with the set or even the minifigure that represents the character. If Jeremy Renner did something similar in his personal life would they pull all Hawkeye minifigures, I doubt it. The Osprey was actually not mid-cycle but pulled upon release with some making it out into the wild. And it was not for its likeness to a war plane as it was used as an offensive weapon in war missions just with a different configuration than the search and rescue set. in the past there has been other issues with sets like Jabba’s Palace and with minifigures like Slave Leia after production, and there were sets that were never released like the first Arch Vegas (a few made it out in South Africa) and the Creator Expert set from Hungary (it may have been Belgium) that got pulled for its alleged role during WW2 ( there were box images but not sure if they were filled with bagged pieces) that got swapped for the Taj rerelease. As others have stated there is a possibility that this is the only set that has this character or that they may replace the actress that plays the character, and perhaps the minifigure gets a new hairstyle or skin tone closer to the new actress. Lego clearly hasn’t recalled the set like they did with the Osprey so at best they stop production a little earlier than planned.

I think the TLG should start LegoTV. I mean, with todays age, I cant believe they haven't yet. I was brainstorming this the other night. They could migrate all the media they have and concentrate in one place. Would also be a perfect place you could upload and share your vidiyo. But more importantly, I was thinking they should start creative teams (like Netflix, Amazon, etc did) for original shows based off different themes. Since ive been on a 90sSpace kick, Ive been thinking about how you could storyline all the different factions, backgrounds, character building and even have them interact. But this could also be done with Castle, Pirates, Bionicle. Could be a huge cash cow.

I feel like we need to learn civics badly in this country. I don’t care what he says - that’s political rhetoric to appeal to his voting base. The reality is - a Congressman is NOT one of the most powerful people in the state. The executive branch of the state is where the responsibility lies.

Lol, I did that at riverboat casino playing blackjack one Thanksgiving weekend. Doubled my bet after every loss, still split and doubled down everytime I was supposed to. There was no maximum bet on the $25 table I was playing on. Had to double down on a $1600 bet once, but won that hand. Ended up leaving on Sunday $21k richer. Went back a year later and the $25 tables all had $500 max bets on them haha.
