Sent LEGO CS a simple email regarding them removing the valentines box GWP from my order the other day and they apologized and said there were processing problems during the first day the GWP was available. A few minutes ago this arrived. people can complain all they want but LEGO's CS is, hands down, the best.

Whatever her power/name is, methinks they are preparing her to be the new leader of the Avengers (just like in the comic books in the 80s). I would have preferred Vision (who was also a leader of Avengers for a time in the comics), but Hollywood unwritten rules dictate female main baddies (ie. Wanda?) require a female main person on the other side

Do it. It really picks up steam with ep 3 and 4. You’d probably get spoiled if you wait until it all drops but I know I’m going to rewatch when it does finish. I’m glad they dropped ep 1 and 2 together, because I did feel like it was a slow start. Definitely worth it.

So... my daughter and I were discussing tonight's episode. It is as if Wanda is now acting as the Infinity Gauntlet herself - able to control time, space, minds, power, reality, and of course souls. In the House of M series Wanda has a mental breakdown and alters reality for the entire Earth. Could be how the MCU introduces mutants. Monica on the other hand appears to have been modified by Wanda herself. The analysis of Monica's brain activity in a previous episode showed all white - "useless". So will this be the birth of Photon or Spectrum, or whatever name Monica goes by?

Rumor is that we’re going to get a concrete answer to the whole Quicksilver thing. Especially since the Ultron QS was in the opening recap.

I heard it was originally a 6 episodes miniseries. But Disney execs ordered recut to increase number of episodes since the Falcon / Winter Soldier series was delayed. The 6 stones = 6 commercials theory makes sense in that light. Also, did anyone notice the extra long opening and end credits? They were padding those episodes as much as they could

This topic seems to be getting off track today. We (the mods) really don’t feel like locking it on a Friday night just to clean it up. personally, I bought a bunch of AT-ST sets recently since Lego might not be making more sets with Cara Dune unless a season 2 is too late in the process to change. Should be a decent flip. ******

I haven’t tried yet, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t. The problem is that I don’t think they will match all of them if you have a cart full, but rather only 1-2. That means if you’re looking for volume it will require many trips with hopefully a different CSR each time. That policy might vary by store though. Time is valuable, so I’d rather just buy them all at once in the self check out and be on my way. When these get re-sold 2-3 years from now that $10 difference won’t really matter in my opinion. To some it might. Others with more experience price matching at Target can probably offer some more insight.

Bought a few more at-st today at 20% off. I'm guessing this will be a longer hold for my asking price. It's not on a retiring list yet and it will have a substantial amount of sellers to get through. Still worth it to me.

Coins looks nice but really not FOMO on them at all. The space and petrol coins look and would be the best if I was going to get them.

Someone posted on Nextdoor that they were moving and put a bunch of stuff in their driveway for garbage/donation. They said feel free to come by and take whatever. One of the pics had two skateboards in it, and I wanted to get them for my kids. Got there 25 mins after the post and as I pulled up, I saw some lady grabbing pretty much everything and putting it next to her car. All the stuff wouldn't even fit in her Jetta, but she was selfish about it. Anyways, I saw the skateboards in her car and was bummed out. I decided to look anyway and lucked out on a box of Lego that was sitting under another box that she hadn't seen yet. Woohoo! Take that selfish lady!
