Seems the next 18+ car or whatever they’re called now will be the Porsche 911. https://www.brickfanatics.com/is-lego-creator-expert-10295-porsche-911-coming-in-2021/ and a Shite pic attached2 points

got a backordered set from late november delivered from shop at home yesterday. included in the box with the backordered trex-dino mech was this unexpected tidbit. they must have sooooo many of theses to be just tossing them in . i wish some celebrity and/or their kids would start wearing these DOTS to make someone want to buy them. some kind of tik tok video perhaps. nytimes front page article - anything. these are like the only thing left standing at local targets.2 points

11k? Lego sets are getting too big. I assume a model something like the 10143 instead of another playset. Here is a leaked proto pic 😉2 points

I am more inclined to think the same...having more different (great) options within a theme will make them all more appealing The Technic Orange Porsche was cool...seeing the bugatti made it better...once the Lambo came out...MUST HAVE1 point

Yep...Winner winner chicken dinner. I think the value of the early ones will only go up because of the newer releases. People will want them all.1 point

I don't think its going to make any one set drop in value as much as all these new cars are just going to limit all the other's potential. Too many choices now. No different than any other developing theme. Early bird gets the worm.1 point

Some HP sets back in stock. Last chance to get these ones? Quiddich Match, Hungarian Horntail, Rise of Voldemort, Expecto Patronum, Beauxbatons' Carriage...1 point

These will be on the shelves at WM and Target by the end of the month and are all in stock at Zavvi. LEGO Shop at Home likely prioritized retailer shipments on these so I wouldn’t be too excited.1 point

You might be right, but both 42056 and 42096 are different from one another and very different than this ?mid-70/80's? model 911. The closest LEGO set to this model would the Speed Champions 75895 (1974 - 911) like @ComicSpeed said.1 point

I had 1 (of 4) ship today, police station. Others are all HP orders, all in warehouse. I did not order until the morning.1 point

My Jan 1 order is still in warehouse. Of course it is, since I was able to get the order in shortly after the site came back online.1 point

I certainly won't judge someone for inadvertently receiving a DOTS piece of junk as a freebie. However, I WILL judge LEGO for making quite possibly the crappiest piece of "jewelry" ever. I don't wear a lot myself, but if I did, why would I want to watch pieces flying off all day? Shame on you LEGO. Shame.1 point

I agree on the 10143 comment ...and umm hoping you're right.1 point

Glad to see Jamie is designing in the series again. It always seemed as though he had a vision for the line. The last three have been nice additions, but they dont really go as well with the prior buildings. More so the Dinner & Garage.1 point
