Only interested in keeping 7036, so if any pickers are interested in any of these DM me and we can work out a deal less than eBay or Bricklink.11 points

Just scoped out my local LEGO store - I am not sure if these are online as well as in store, but promos starting tomorrow: Free Vintage Car with Purchase of $85 or more. Free Harry Potter Book of Monsters with HP Purchase of $75 or more. Anything retiring was marked down 20%. All Hidden Side Sets... Some DOTS stuff. A couple city sets (Fire Response Team I think, the one people were getting at $7 at costco) and 60212. SW: Death Star Cannon. A few Ninjago Sets - Arcade Pods, Land Bounty, Kai's Fire Dragon, Cole's Dirt Bike, Empire Dragon... A few Trolls sets as well.3 points

Boxes also? I'd get him to $600. I personally would not verify each set except for the minifigs and then list on ebay and amazon seller fulfilled. Also I always regret used lots as I think i have more free time than I actually do.3 points

I'll buy from you and you can ship outside of the box. These are gold to certain BrickLink stores. 4x part-out. if you want to dump yours, PM me.2 points

is there any way I can talk my wife into believing the Vestas set is a functional fan that we could use to cool the air in the living room?2 points

Midnight Eastern cannot get here fast enough. Let’s hope the website works, and that there is stuff actually in stock. Would be great if it wasn’t only 2021 items, either.1 point

At the Lego stores, it's really at the discretion of the manager.1 point

I think the terms say something like that but as far as I know it has not really been enforced if you place multiple orders1 point

Caught me! However, none of this new aged fandangle pens, vapes or carts. You can call me old fashioned, I prefer my green in flower form1 point

just quick math in my head I see around 1100 in there conservatively. Thats lots of work to make 425 before fees and taxes. For personal use? Great deal. For a picker, just so so. I see your hesitation.1 point

Bought 6 at RRP (€660), sold 3 for €430 in first weeks. Bought parts for color changes (€50). Built 1 in black/red, 1 in white and kept 1 original. Was fun!1 point

I had to go to the Apple store at the mall today and was early for my pickup time so I went into the Lego store to kill time. I think the last time I bought a set from there was Assembly Square on New Year’s Day 2017 and they still had them on the shelf today. My GF (like how I threw that in there) said: “let’s get a set to build it will be fun”. They had a lot of neat sets I had never seen in person: diagon alley, coliseum (no way was I building that), piano, Batmobile, and many more. We ended up getting barracuda bay it just looks like a fun build, no points, no promos, no sales, no backroom deals just being a regular person not a reseller or QFLL.1 point

Bombshell re-release? Half of this was already proved correct. Hoo boy1 point

I think more than that is just them assuming that the tags at one particular LEGO store can be relied upon 100%. Not saying they are not retiring as I personally have no way of knowing other than what most people here have access to anyway, but unless I saw the tags on S@H or on multiple LEGO stores across the country I’d be skeptical1 point
-
That is interesting. I use" the brick fan "for plenty of info but if they are going off info of a lego store that has these on a shelf that says last chance to buy like in their picture ,I wouldn't be so sure that it's a solid retiring soon sign. I'm pretty sure other not retiring sets have seen those shelves. That my 2 cents. I sure will be watching for other retiring signals now though.1 point
