New deliveries arrived at stores that didn't have stock before. Managed to place orders for pickup via the website. Let's hope they don't hand these out to random strangers without verifying ID.

Sold the LEGO friends advent calendar locally on FB on Nov 30th evening. Buy in $22 sold $32. My first official resale Split the profits 50:50 with my daughter who was responsible for me buying it in the first place 😇

30628 Monster Book of Monsters x7 @ $23.73 each after Barnes discount and sales tax. I stopped in my local store this past Sunday night to check if they received any. The clerk looked up the set and it showed that my store had 9 on order. No other stores within 100 miles of my location (Green Bay) showed any on order. She printed a report for me showing other stores "nearby" that were getting some and suggested I call to see if they'd ship to me. Most are in Michigan. A few are further east in Pennsylvania, New York, and Kentucky. I don't plan on driving 10 hours one way around the bottom of Lake Michigan any time soon, so here is the report for any Pickers that are local to those areas and want to try to hunt them down. Data on the report is accurate as of 12/5. I stopped in again this afternoon and the nine they had on order showed up. I was able to get seven of the nine. I'm assuming the stores that were slated to receive some only got three cases of three? The Barnes in store product # for this set is 0673419333344. The item description in their computer is "LEGO Partner Driven Exclusives tbd-HP-Model 30628. Good luck out there!

I fear this possibility as well... Which is why I ship ASAP and hope it doesn't restock until well after Christmas. On a related note, I listed my used Razor Crest for fun and it sold in 2 hours for $230 shipped on eBay.

Good for you for seeing thru the veil of plentitude..and I'll take your cue and hold on to my last one for direct sale...tired giving Ebay more $$ ...I still think blowing the ship up (from orbit) got folks wanting it more (no one but FIloni knew that was coming)

Just got an email from Lego saying my backordered Elf houses shipped.

I went and checked my local Lego store and somehow the had three sitting on the shelf.

Indecisiveness will only lead to tears...😏

Just a bit of warning...at some point the price goes high enough for folks to considering returning once the set goes back in stock. This is always my fear whenever there's a windfall of profits

me 2. until i had an issue. and a friend showed me a bugatti he got shipped in paper outer wrapping. there definetly are more bad zavvi stories than every other retailer (except KOHLS). difference is, returns are difficult with zavvi

had the same issue when i ordered 7 campervams. still waiting on refund worst experience ever, and they only respond 1 time a day with vague answers that dont answer my qs

the longer you wait to order, the less likely you are to get the endor set... there are practically no SW sets left now which is likely why it’s still there... when the han solo keychain was available they had tons of SW sets and were bombarded with 1000’s of VIP weekend orders which is likely why they couldn’t keep up and went OOS faster then they could keep up...

I don't think this one shows the full inventory. Mine still had a few of the Great Hall and it doesn't show. And the Book is missing. I just used this and searched within a 100m radius. I twice recently ordered items with a delivery date after Christmas and both have already shipped. YMMV but it could come earlier.

I finally sold my 1989 Batmobile gwp for $105. A little below others but the box had the classic Lego shipping department smash of approval creased through the front.

There is some value in selling off quickly. Getting $200 for slaves purchased a week ago for $75? Nothing to regret about that, especially if you use the money wisely.

feel free to vent...but by a large margin LEGO Shop at Home customer service is 100x better (IMO) than pretty much any other mainstream company

I've given up on Facebook marketplace, people just keep on low-balling and saying present is for kid and can't afford more, someone even messaged saying they are on furlough so can I give them discount, felt like replying back saying why you buying lego then lol

Got a letter form Target yesterday and I am thinking oh oh what now since I just got my statement a day before. Open the letter and they are increasing my CC limit by another 5k... They don't know if they want you to leave or stay, such a toxic relationship . Now if they they pull out a whip it would just be like my ex is back .

Instead of the slave 1 from target that I ordered, I got a box of baby wipes...😠

They lost me a little with the Winter Village series - The first years were great, with the Cottage, the Bakery, the Post Office and such. I like the quaintness of a winter town under the Christmas tree. The Winter Village Market was ok, but Santa's Workshop didn't fit very well, and Gingerbread and Elf Clubhouse sadly continue that trend. For this year I am going to build Medieval Market Village instead and replace the roofs with snowy versions, and add that to the Cottage, Bakery, Post Office and Toy Store.

It's never a good sign when the package is smaller than what you ordered...

First time getting screwed by Zavvi received an order wrapped in plastic - no outer box - soaked in water - so bad that water poured onto my floor. They better replace or refund.

Today was a sad day for me. Had to put our pet bunny to sleep. He was fine then all of a sudden stopped eating. Vet said rabbits are funny like that. We found him when the neighbor said a rabbit was running around their yard. He walked right up to us. He was blind in one eye and almost blind in the other. Took him home and fed and cleaned him up. Put ads out for a lost bunny but nobody claimed him. So he became our pet. We named him Stew. He was an awesome buddy and even litter box trained. The kids and me will miss him.
