Lol, i've arm swept many Targets in my area. The college kid behind the counter be like, Them: "Dude I love Lego's. You are going to have a great time." Them: "You going to build a massive star ship? Man that would be fun" Me: "Nah, going to sell this crap to desperate parents on Amazon" Them: "Straight hustlin', I feel that."3 points

Got a letter form Target yesterday and I am thinking oh oh what now since I just got my statement a day before. Open the letter and they are increasing my CC limit by another 5k... They don't know if they want you to leave or stay, such a toxic relationship . Now if they they pull out a whip it would just be like my ex is back .2 points

Update for 12/4: Price Range, Sets Available (change from 12/4, change from 12/1) LEGO SAH: >$100: 9 (-19, -9) $75 to $100: 8 (-13, -5) $50 to $75: 12 (-9, -5) $25 to $50: 12% (-22%, -19%) <$25: 20% (-14%, -16%) Amazon ("LEGO", sold by Amazon.com, building sets, Prime eligible, LEGO Brand): 266 (-23, -47) sets, 90 (-10, -14) over $50*** Walmart ("LEGO", retailer Walmart.com, LEGO sets and toys, Deliver to Home eligible): 206, (-39, -75) sets, 63 (-6, -14) over $50*** Target ("LEGO", building sets, shipping available): 319 (-20, -15) sets, 84 (-7, -9) over $50*** *** Note: doesn't include sets on sale <$50 that are RRP >$50 Everybody is down today. Target seems to be holding up the best at the moment. But holy smokes LEGO took a huge plunge in availability. Now only about 29 different buildable sets remain over $50. And many of the $25 to $50 sets are not buildable sets -- so that 12% is definitely in the single digits if you eliminate the non-buildable sets. Here is what LEGO still has in stock over $50 (entering turd status): > $100: The Upside Down, Rough Terrain Crane, Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, 6x6 Volvo Articulated Hauler, A-wing Starfighter, The Flaming Foundry, Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe, Marvel Studios Iron Man, The Beatles $75 to $100: Batcave Clayface Invasion, Crocodile Locomotive, Hogwarts Astronomy Tower, Hogwarts Great Hall, Mobile Bat Base, Watchpoint Gibraltar, General Grievous's Starfighter, Lion Dance $50 to $75: Ship in a Bottle, Monkie Kid's Cloud Jet, 4 Privet Drive, Ducati Panigale V4 R, Hogwarts Whomping Willow, Knights of Ren Transport Ship, Monkie Kid's Cloud Roadster, Action Battle Echo Base Defense, Adventures with Mario Starter Course, Baryonyx Face-Off: The Treasure Hunt, Central Airport, Sandy's Speedboat2 points

One more build by me. A few months ago I stumbled upon some digital renderings made by Reddit user u/brxstr of a Back-to-the-Future DMC DeLorean, which looked fantastic. He/she had (has?) the Stud.io file available on Rebrickable.com, so I downloaded it and planned to build it. In doing my due diligence I found out that the model was originally designed by user Troelskf on Brickshelf, so I want to make sure (s)he gets credit as well. I ended up redoing large parts of the design for several reasons: Part availability and cost. Several parts were very expensive (the F40 windscreen for example) so I came up with alternative solutions for those. Stability and Buildability. As the design has never been built IRL, certain parts of the design looked great in Stud.io, but did not work in the brick. For example, the click hinges for the shaping on the back were originally positioned right in between two clicks, which meant there was an ugly gap. The doors were so flimsy in their original design, they would fall apart when touched lightly. Operability. The doors were not opening in the original design, as there was no tolerance for the swing movement (they looked great opened and closed, but would have to be removed and reassembled to change them from opened to closed. The lid for Mr Fusion could not be opened for similar reasons. Improved looks. I completely redesigned the dashboard, adding more and more detailed instrumentation. I changed the gear lever and created a different flux capacitor design. I modified the hose work around the engine, and redesigned the back section to make it look more like the BttF version, including custom license plate. Generating instructions. The original file was a purely digital design, with no consideration for building the set with real bricks. I spent many hours redesigning the build sequence and creating detailed, step by step instructions. They are almost complete (Isn't it wonderful that if you move a part from one step to another in Stud.io, it decides to undo all the call-outs in the instructions which in turn leads to page layouts resetting?). I still have one change to make but then the 300+ page instructions are ready. Here is the final product. Hope you like it. More pictures in my Flickr album (https://www.flickr.com/photos/129210197@N05/with/50605610828/). Total cost was ~$200 (US), but I had most of the common parts on hand. Would likely be closer to $300 if all 1600+ parts had to be purchased.2 points

u can't have a reseller Policy without the reseller police. until there is a legit crackdown to scare resellers and make the game even more interesting, we just take our turn dancing with the banhammer devil. i run my card up and pay it down 4-8 times a month, no issues with fraud alert except for once. last month they upp'd my limit for $3800 to $4800. the only time i have had the fraud alert triggered was last year when i let the excitement get the best of my ban avoidance nature and ordered back to back orders of 20x City Hospitals during the $49 sale. the second order was cancelled and credit card inactivated and ii had to call up say oops - yeah. obviously it was a mistake since nobody would order 20x of something two times... i didn't think the first one went though that's why i ordered it a second time. that's right. 😕 i had a brief ban at target that lasted less than 12 hours and back in action today but there's not much left to pick through. i like how they seemed to find a few more pallets of the everlasting quititch.1 point

My 12 year and 8 year old have 3 friends over, and they’re playing an IRL Among Us. It’s hilarious to hear them using all the Among Us terms and stuff as they’re walking around the house. Very sus1 point

Yeah, honestly not that big a deal, mostly annoyed with myself for not putting them away. On the bright side, I've got some impetus to build them and a great gift for my brother's family to boot.1 point

I just sold 10212 last night for $550.00. That was one of my favorite all time Lego sets to build. Great SNOT techniques, huge, impressive display size, interesting Technic gear train inside to fold up the wings...it's a really cool set.1 point

Fett killed the heck out of those storm troopers. It’s almost like he was resentful his face wound up on countless clones that were used as cannon fodder.1 point

My son immediately said he forgot his jetpack. What I found interesting about this episode is Boba is supposed to be 41 or 42 years old but he's clearly been through some sh*t including escaping the sarlacc. And I want to know more about that blue force field that surrounded Grogu.1 point

Too frantic What if Sabine shows up with the Ghost and it's the main mode of transportation for a few episodes?1 point

That ship has basically been blown up, crashed, ripped apart by Jawas, and sunk in less than two seasons. If this show was South Park then the Razor Crest is Kenny. It will come back, likely as a different design.1 point

My 8 yo son has been playing ice hockey for almost 4 years now and loves it. He was doing really good and then COVID hit and obviously he took a few steps backward. Our regular rink went out of business because of COVID. So we started up at a new rink about 2 months ago. Next week, he’s playing in an in-house tournament. Which will be lots of fun. He’s definitely getting his groove back. The “I Love It” part is that he was just invited to join a newly formed team that will will be traveling out to Vegas in January! It should be a blast. Tourneys are so much fun at this age. It was great to hear his coach be interested, compliment his play and behavior on the ice, and take a strong interest in continuing to coach him.1 point
