Maybe it's just my age (60) but there comes a time in a man's life that you aren't willing to jump through all the hoops. If B&N wants to sell to me, fine. If they want to play their silly little games then they can kiss my fat ass. There is too much other low-hanging fruit out there.20 points

Lol, i've arm swept many Targets in my area. The college kid behind the counter be like, Them: "Dude I love Lego's. You are going to have a great time." Them: "You going to build a massive star ship? Man that would be fun" Me: "Nah, going to sell this crap to desperate parents on Amazon" Them: "Straight hustlin', I feel that."9 points

I recently had some friends help me consolidate all of my inventory from storage units and my home to a warehouse unit. They originally thought it was cool to be a Lego lord. They rescinded that statement and feel bad for me LOL.7 points

Sold through a healthy stack of 41329 Olivia's Deluxe Bedroom at $50 FBA over the last few days. 3x RRP and more ($15 set). Also marks me passing 200% lifetime ROI on all my LEGO sales (3000+ sets sold and counting). Nice hobby4 points

They did, about two years ago. It's easy and looks great. That JK Brickworks is a genius! If they ever have a LEGO HOF, he should be in the founding class. Anyone could build a face but his design uses pieces from the build with no added bricks.4 points

Why didn’t they give Jeep the same love as the Land Rover? This thing feels very cheap.4 points

Y'all might want to invest in as many Razor Crests and Slave 1s you can find after this latest episode.3 points

Today I grabbed a Slave I and a few Rise of Voldemort's at the local LEGO store. Got the Dickens and BB8 Promo. Christmas tree Promo seems to be gone. I've been hitting up the nearby LEGO Store every couple of days this past week - A few observations for any who might care: 1. This store is letting you choose between Dickens or Ice Rink. 2. This store is enforcing a 3max per set rule. 3. Lion Dance and VW Bus were the only ones TAGGED on the shelf as "Last Chance". 4. Fast Sellers: VW Buses sold out pretty quickly at 20%. Chess sets sold out pretty fast. 5. Slow Sellers: On the clearance table seem to be the same TLM2 Sets, the same Toy Story 4 10770s, and the same Donut Shop Openings of which they have a ton, 20% discount. Steamboat Willy doesn't seem to be flying off the shelf at 20%, and Tantive IV seems to have several, as I bought a couple and the shelf gets restocked. VW Bugs don't seem to be shooting away at full price either. 6. Slave I's at 20% seem to be trickling in occasionally. 7. Despite them telling me it sells well, I have not seen a single person purchase a Monkie Kid set.3 points

And their training is, specifically, not to intervene in those instances. We're taking the wrong approach. Gentle, complacent, and peaceful reselling projects an image that we can be abused without repercussions. If we adopted the element of danger and violence, they may incorporate resellers into their employee intervention safety training. Time to start showing our colors, brothers (and sisters)2 points

@raindog I've been looking for a solution like that near me. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anything. I am torn between receiving packages at my home, which normally isn't terrible, or setting up a keypad and camera system at the warehouse so the delivery drivers can just drop everything there. I'm weary of giving them access to the warehouse however it would be VERY convenient. This past week we received personal uhaul trucks twice a day with teams of 3 people unloading stuff into our garage. If they were spaced apart enough I had enough time to clear room for the next unload. One day I didn't and I had the girlfriend pick up a uhaul, so we could take the overflow away from the house. I'm sick of having to do stuff like this so I'll probably accept the risk on the warehouse deliveries and invest in some good security and increase my insurance. Alternatively I'm trying to figure out if USPS or UPS would allow me to ship my items to a post box at their location, then pay for a once a week drop off so i can be there.2 points

My house looked like that this week, separate Penske trucks each day, nor my normal ups guy, but we put up an awning for the sole purpose to avoid the rain!2 points

HP Astronomy Towers from Zulily shipped. Not sure how my HOA will feel went I add that partition to the house2 points

Yeah, that's not very good logic. That's about as smart as LEGO shipping throwing the keychains and promos in first and then stuffing the sets and packing on top before forcing the box shut to tape it.2 points

Still equally horrible. I swear I’m going to just sit one in someone’s order sometime as a “free gift.”2 points

what's going on is lego doesn't want to give out double vip and promos on these dinosaurs and is supplying them to target walmart and amazon who all have these in stock now. they have made enough to meet demand. they don't want to give out double vip and promos and then pay extra to ship these dinosaurs all over the country when UPS and fedex are jacking the prices up for holiday surge demand. pretty dang smart business decision actually.1 point

FYI, I was able to get free shipping on my online order for the Book Monsters set using my Barnes & Noble membership log in without hitting any specific spending threshold.1 point

I got it. Target dislikes money. It doesn't want you to pay the merch with cash. Shoplifters, Burglars and Rioters, You are the most welcome here!1 point

Big jeep fan here as well and previous owner of a TJ. What a disservice they did to this thing. Went from an insta-buy if done right to maybe I’ll catch it on a super sale.1 point

That was my exact sentiment, why wasn’t this given the Land Rover treatment?! Just think of those those whittle Jeep Wrangler boys and their whittle lift kit and whittle tires. They’d be drooling. Now it just looks like an updated 8828.1 point

From what I know, at least for USPS, weight has to be rounded up while dimensions have to be rounded to the nearest inch (up or down)1 point
